The experience has been wonderful any time we have dealt with them. They have been here in Hurst forever. It is family owned. I am sure their price was reasonable.

They did well. They got to me pretty much on time and did a good job.

I have used this company on and off for 20 years. Their service has always been top notch and reasonably priced.

We wanted to buy local. Buy American. We were impressed by Brian's knowledge, and his "we'll take care of you" promise. Despite the fact that it would have cost less at the big box store, we bought a new GE slide-in stove, on Saturday, set installation for Tuesday. On Tuesday, the installer, Keith, pulled the stove forward, measured, and stated that the counter-top must be cut. However, he doesn't do that kind of cutting. We weren't happy with this, but we called Larry who assured us he would expedite this. (We had measured the old stove, hadn't pulled it out, and Brian didn't question those measurements.) When Kurt (stone cutter) arrived on Wednesday, I called Larry, hoping to get the installer back that day. But, Larry stated that their installer only works on Tuesday and Friday. At this point, I asked Larry what he had meant when he said "expedite", but he only replied, "I'm sorry". So, the kitchen was torn up, and the old stove in the garage, the new stove propped up in the kitchen. Keith returned on Friday morning to complete the installation. But this required another cut he could do for another $45.00. (We'd paid $100 at the store for installation and haul off.) WE HAD TO HAUL THE BOX OFF OURSELVES As Keith was preparing to leave after the installation, I noticed a plastic bag with an anti-tip device, with instructions that this MUST be installed. He said it's not necessary for slide-in stoves. I was skeptical. He brought his tools back in, pulled the stove out, and installed this safety device. SOMEWHAT……… DID NOT UNSCREW THE LEVELER/FOOT, THEREFORE IT DID NOT ENGAGE THE BRACE AT ALL. He left, and while cleaning the cook-top, I noticed a gap between the back of the cook-top and the counter-top, big enough to fit the tip of my little finger into. Also, I could see that the stove was crooked, and not slid all the way back. On the right side, the edge of a thin rubber base the cook-top sets on was sticking out. I called Keith, who told me to shove the stove over and it would probably fit. I tried but it was still not fitting perfectly. He said he'd stop by later on. When he returned, he said "in a perfect world" this would fit. After spending over $2000 for the stove, and $245 for the installation, I felt we'd paid for a perfect fit. He said the counter-top would need to be re-cut to get the stove to fit. The edge of the thin rubber pad that was sticking out on the right side? He simply cut it off with his knife! I called Kurt, who returned on Saturday. He pulled the stove out, re-cut the front of the counter-top, (too much this time), but the stove would now slide back all the way. After Kurt left, we pulled out the stove to clean up the mess Keith hadn't cleaned up. We then noticed that Keith had used only one of the two screws to install the anti-tipping device, and we fixed that. At this point, we don't know what or how much damage Keith did by cutting off the rubber base instead of adjusting it correctly in the first place. We assume that since GE has this thin rubber base under the the glass cook-top, it is supposed to be placed correctly, not simply sliced off because the installer can't be bothered to do the job right. We haven't contacted the store again yet, because Larry's apologies don't help. It's easy for him to say he's sorry, but it doesn't fix whatever problems we might experience in the future because their installation. We will call Brian since we originally dealt with him. Unfortunately, we paid much more to buy local, and were rewarded by shoddy workmanship, and no thought of service recovery. The lesson this store taught us: spend less and get good service with the big box store. So much for trying to do the right thing.

We were very satisfied. We have used them in the past and will use them again.

The tech showed up on time, took a look at the dishwasher. He said that I needed a new control panel for the electronic dishwasher. It was going to cost $300. I wasn't about to spend $300 when I can get a new dishwasher starting at $400. I just paid the service call fee of $49.95.

Walking into Hurst TV and Appliance Sales is like going back in time. It's a family owned business with knowledgeable people who give real customer service...what a breath of fresh air! We purchased a dishwasher from them several years ago and were very satisfied. On Saturday, we were shopping for both a cooktop and refrigerator. Brian, our salesperson, was very helpful in both areas. Their pricing is competitive and comparable to the larger companies. We purchased a GE Profile refrigerator and had it installed today. Greg and Evan delivered the appliance. They were prompt, polite, and careful with our installation. They took their time and made sure everything was connected, and in good working order. Greg gave us instruction on the features of our new refrigerator. Overall our experience with Hurst TV and Appliance has been excellent. We have one of their employees coming tomorrow to take measurements for our the cooktop that we plan to purchase from them as well.

I purchased a new Microwave and Oven to replace existing units. Hurst TV & Appliance delivered the appliances and installed them. Even though the sizes were slightly different, they modified the cabinet so that you could not tell the difference.

I like how courteous they are and how well they cleaned up after themselves. I liked that they explained everything to us and I thought their pricing was very reasonable for the work performed.

Brian was very knowledgeable about appliances and answered all our questions very expertly and patiently. We appreciated that he never pressured us to buy anything. He ordered and set up delivery of all the appliances very efficiently. Everything went very smoothly from start to finish. All the appliances were delivered and installed as promised.

We called on July 5, early morning and were told no time slots were available today but we could be seen tomorrow. We were told we would get a call on July 6 between 8 and 9 am to set up the repair. On July 6, we finally had to call them at 1 pm and were told their records showed we had requested the repair be changed to Saturday. We did not request this. By this time of 1 pm, we were then told it was not likely we would be seen on July 6. After a couple of calls with getting to the bottom of the story, we were told someone might be able to visit between 5 pm and 7 pm. My husband basically waited at home from 8 am - 7 pm. The technician arrived at 6:50 pm. He completed the repair to our satisfaction. It took less than an hour. He had the part on his truck. It came in at under the estimate of $200. We were not happy with the scheduling snags which were presented as being our fault.

CAME SAME DAY CALLED. GOOD SERVICE.

I SAVED ABOUT $75 USING HURST TV & APPLIANCE OVER THE MANUFACTURER'S SERVICE. I WAS GIVEN A TWO HOUR WINDOW AND THEY ARRIVED IN THE FIRST HOUR OF THAT WINDOW. I COULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF, BUT THE ELECTRICIAN RECOMMENDED A FIX THAT WAS AS GOOD AS NEW, RATHER THAN A REPLACEMENT. THE ELECTRICIAN WAS VERY PERSONABLE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ON TIME. I RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY HIGHLY.

THE PRICE WAS CHEAPER THAN WHAT THE APARTMENTS WOULD SELL IT TO ME FOR. THEY ORDERED IT, AND IT ARRIVED IN A TIMELY MANNER. THEY CARRIED IT TO MY CAR.

THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS ON THE PHONE. ALL THE PARTS WERE IN STOCK, SO THEY DIDN'T NEED TO ORDER ANY OF THEM.

WE HAD A ANTIQUE TELEVISION SET THAT HAD BEEN IN OUR FAMILY. I SHOPPED AROUND AND FINALLY FOUND HURST TV TO RESTORE MY TELEVISION FOR ME. THEY LOCATED SPECIAL PARTS THAT NO ONE ELSE SEEMED TO BE ABLE TO FIND.

THEY DID A REALLY GOOD JOB. THEY TOOK TIME AND DID IT RIGHT AND HAD VERY GOOD COMMUNICATION. JOB JUST TOOK ABOUT 1HR. OR SO.

THEY WERE VERY FAST. REASONABLY PRICED. THEY WERE VERY NICE.

DIAGNOSED PROBLEM QUICKLY. HAD NEEDED PART IN STOCK AND REPAIRED SAME DAY. ALWAYS VERY PROFESSIONAL.

VERY PROMPT, HONEST AND THE FOUND PROBLEM RIGHT AWAY.

REPAIRED TV WITHIN A WEEK, ALSO HAVE BOUGHT APPLIANCES FROM THEM IN PAST AND HAVE RECEIVED EXCELLENT SERVICE ALL THROUGHOUT.

THE REPAIRMAN WAS PROMPT, EXPERIENCED AND QUICK TO FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM WITH MY WASHER. HE HAD THE RIGHT PART AND WAS FINISHED WITHIN AN HOUR! WE HAVE USED THIS COMPANY ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS.

I AM ALWAYS PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE THAT THESE PEOPLE PROVIDE FOR US. I HAVE BEEN CALLING THEM FOR 12 YEARS AND SOME CALLS GET THE FIX DONE WHILE THEY INSTRUCT ME OVER THE PHONE AT NO CHARGE. THEY ARE WELL EDUCATED IN APPLIANCE REPAIR.

THEY ARE ALWAYS VERY GOOD TO ME. NICE AND HELPFUL.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD. I GOT $10 OFF, SO IT MADE IT A BETTER DEAL. HE EVEN HAD TO COME BACK BECAUSE IT WAS JUMPING AROUND. HE WAS ON TIME AND CAME BACK QUICKLY.
