We called Doug for an estimate, leaving a voice message. He promptly returned our call, set up a time to talk to us and provide an estimate. He called on the appointment date and arrived early. We walked the job. He listened attentively, answered our questions and made some constructive suggestions. He completed his estimate onsite and left it with us. His estimate was neither high nor low. After deliberation my wife & I selected Doug for our project because of his courteous and professional manner. My wife called Doug to schedule the project. Doug arranged to get all utility lines marked and on the start date he and his crew were on site on time. They worked diligently to remove the old fencing and proceeded to erect the new fence. It was a one day project scheduled for unfortunately one of the hottest days yet in our area, 100 degrees. They were exceptionally neat, hauling all debris away and cleaning up after themselves. Once complete, Doug invited me to do a walk thru which we did. The fence looks great and Doug and his crew were great to work with. PS my neighbor had some issues with a couple of sprinklers adjacent to the new fence and Doug took care of resolving them.

Doug and his crew removed the fence early on 6/10/09 and set the metal posts. I had asked that they wait to build the new fence so that I could build a small retaining wall to prevent soil from washing up against it. They said it would be no problem. The fence was completed on 6/16/09 and it looks beautiful. The area around the fence on both sides was left neat and clean.

From the beginning, we received a written quote with the description and price of the materials and work to be completed. He was very flexible and responsive. Upon arrival, they proceeded to remove the old fence, piled it up near their truck and then prepared the area for the new fence. The posts and fence were installed quickly and professionally. They did a good job cleaning up and putting things back the way they were.

They were fast at responding to my call. The estimate was made at the time specified and the fence work was done on the day specified. They did a great job, they didn't even damage the flowers that were alongside the old fence! Two additional things which I appreciated was that they were willing to collect their fee from my neighbor as well as from me, and they called after the work was done to check that we were satisfied. Highly recommended . . .

They did a great job. They installed the fence on top of a small retaining wall that was uneven & crooked, yet they made it work out well, so the fence was 9-11 inches taller, by being on top of the retaining wall. They also took out my old fence and neighbor's fence that was connected to my fence was removed, yet left the neighbor's parts well situated, so they could not complain! Mr. Moore and his helper cleaned up very well, and removed lots of dead bushes I had cut, to make way for the new fence, clearance, at no extra charge. Very professional job, and great quality materials. They were HALF the price of my landscaper's quote, and did a SUPERIOR job, with nice Cedar wood! I am EXTREMELY pleased & I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. CALL THEM & USE THEM, YOU'LL LIKE THEIR WORK!

I CALLED THEM UP AND ASKED IF THEY CAN COME OUT AND FIX MY FENCE. THEY CAME OUT AND GAVE ME A QUOTE. THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THEY CAME OUT AS SCHEDULED.

Very prompt on all aspects of the job from being on time with proposal visit to start and finish times promised. Very good on communicating on what was happening and clearing all phases of the work. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

Excellent. He was very professional throughout, from the first phone call and estimate to the finish. His estimated start date of 6 weeks was right on. The quality of the work and his suggestions during the project were excellent. I priced three other companies, both big and small, and he was the best price. He was also the only one of the four companies that always returned calls promptly and showed up every time when he said he would.

The work turned out great. They did an excellent job, they were on time and they put it up just as they said they would.

I called and asked to get an estimate to put it back up and to check the surrounding fence and posts to make sure they were OK. Doug answered the phone, got the information and said he would look at it the next day. Although he was very busy because of all the recent wind damage he came by and told me everything else looks OK and I could probably put it back myself if I wanted to. I really didn't have time and asked him to do it. He said he would send someone out the next day but would have to charge a $50 service call. I agreed and the next day the panel was replaced and there was no additional charge for the cross bar, nails etc.

They were on time, removed old fencing, installed new and cleaned up within the estimated completion time. Material and workmanship was excellent. Doug Moore skillfully dealt with next door neighbor who was out to make this job difficult, but had her happy and pleased in the end.

The owner is very clean cut, professional, and trustworthy; he looks like a CPA which I felt good about. They did good work and if we needed anyone to work on our fence again we would use them.

The job was done very professionally. He delivered on all his promises. Completed the job in a day and hauled off the old fence and debris completely, leaving behind a clean yard. Quality of his work is very good and the fence seems solid and straight. We are very pleased with the whole experience.

He responded quickly when we called for an estimate. His estimate was a little below other estimates we got. After we told him we wanted him to do the work, he was quick to get the needed city permit and begin the job. The entire job (170 feet of fence plus a gate) was completed in one day.

Called first week of May and got an estimate of $1900 over the phone. Doug said, that it would be 4-6 weeks before he could install the fence. He put us on his list, while I still called for estimates (everyone else was running 4-6 weeks also and gave higher estimates). 2 weeks later, Doug came out to the house to measure and give written estimate. We upgraded to cedar rails, so it was $50 more. End of June, Doug came out to do the job. Said, he would be here at 7:00 am and he was here at 7:00 am. Old fence was taken apart. There was a tree in the the line of where the new fence was to go. He said he could build around it or cut it down. We asked him to cut that down and he hauled it away too. The fence was put up in a day, while the concrete was drying. He cleaned up thoroughly. We didn't want mounds of dirt laying around, where the holes were dug and they took care of that too. The fence looks great. Doug even gives a warranty on his work!

They did a beautiful fence for us. We have only good things to say about this company. Their price was the lowest of all of the estimates we got and the quality of work was superb. We would recommend them highly.

On time, on estimate price, and done flawlessly. Very efficient and courteous. Neighbors dogs got into our yard during the process and the guys babysat the two Bassets and made sure they got back in their own yard when job was done!

Doug performed his tasks of removing and replacing broken posts holding our fence just as he promised. He came on time, called before he came, worked in a timely manner, cleaned up after himself, and his price was fair. We were most impressed, would reuse him again, and would recommend him to others. One of the most impressive things about Doug was his professionalism, as he did not try to sell us more of a fix than we needed, and he did exactly what we expected him to do.

My experience with Doug and Fenceworks was very positive. Doug was on time for our initial meeting, listened to what my wife and I wanted to do, and offered good advice about the project. He quoted the job before leaving and offered many different options to choose from. The project was started on the day he told me it was scheduled and the work was completed to my satisfaction. Doug called me during the project to go over a couple of issues so there were no "surprises". Doug is very professional and I would hire him again for future projects. Our new fence is well built and looks great - Job well done!

Contacted Mr. Moore at Fence Works to come by and give me an estimate for replacing my home's back fence, which he did on 2/14/2006 ($2604). Contacted Mr. Moore about February 16, by e-mail, giving him the job. He answered on February 22, stating my work was scheduled to begin on March 8. When no one had shown up by about 9:30 AM on March 8, I called Mr. Moore, only to find out that sometime after February 22, he had changed the scheduled start date and had failed to contact me concerning his change. Mr. Moore made some excuses for the schedule change and for not contacting me but wanted to know then if the new date was OK. I accepted it at the time because I was over a barrel, but since that time have found another contractor to do my fence. Mr. Moore has a web site and even a section for customer surveys about his service. However, because of the above encounter, I get the perception he does not seem to be well organized, resulting in poor customer service.

TERRY MORE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND COURTEOUS. WE BID THREE PLACES AND HE HAD THE BEST PRICES. WE INITIALLY HAD DOUBLE FENCE LINES WITH OUR NEIGHBORS. HE TOOK CARE OF TALKING TO ALL 4 NEIGHBORS THAT WOULD BE AFFECTED. HE CAME UP WITH SOLUTIONS ON PROBLEM FENCE AREAS.
