Doug Moore came out and gave me an estimate. He told me the date he thought he would be able to do the work. It was a few weeks out, but he estimated the date perfectly. He was here when he said he would be. He was extremely professional and thorough. He and two assistants did all of the work. He worked with me and my neighbor and understood our concerns about our dogs. I highly recommend Fence Works.

Nothing. He never even called me back. He must be really rich.

They arrived and got right to it, had the old fence down in no time. Had the new fence up and ready to go within about 6 hours, his crew was so professional and quiet minus the nail gun you would hardly know they were doing such major work. They added a gate to the back fence so I can reach the field behind me. I love the look and function of my gates and the fence is a work of art. So beautiful, I have received many compliments from my neighbors. In fact 2 people asked for their business cards when they were on the property. I had 4 quotes and his was the most reasonable for the work provided. I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone and will use them again for any fence work I need.

The owner came to our home on the weekend to accommodate my husband's schedule. He was thorough, professional and courteous. He listened to what we wanted and were trying to accomplish. He explained his process completely and effectively marketed his methodology of fence building. He provided two estimates with two different options that he was able to work up for us and print on the spot from his "mobile office". This is the provided we would have chosen if we had done the work at the time.

They did good work. Honest, conscientious, fair.

They got here right on time. They were very professional--there was no loud radio, no drooping pants on the ground. They showed up, they went to work. After Doug checked over some details with me, I didn't see him again until they left for lunch. When I returned from an errand, they were gone. The yard was cleaned up. They left no trash, nothing. As a matter of fact, they took care of restacking a cord of wood that had been close to the fence--and it was neater than when they arrived. Simply, I cannot say enough about them. I've since referred other people to them. The best experience of this type I've had in a long, long time. Every once in a while, you find someone who does things just right. You don't have to have them return. You don't have to have them redo. That was the case here. As long as they're in business, they have a customer in me. And, in the people I've sent to them.

They leveled everything up and used twice the nails for extra security. They piece-built the fence and used very durable wood.

Doug and his crew completed my project ahead of schedule. They were efficient and very professional in their manner. Best of all they listened to my needs and quoted a price based on the fence I wanted built. They addressed a couple of unseen issues without additional cost or time. Absolutely fantastic, too bad the scale does not permit A+++, because these guys deserve extra credit.

It is just this one man. He does the sales and installation himself. He is professional. He will call if there is an issue with arrival time. He was very good at keeping me in the loop. He was punctual and friendly. The quality of workmanship was great. Everybody that sees it praises it. It is a great company to work with. The fence was a little more expensive. For me it was a good trade off.

Someone was suppose to call me the day before coming by to confirm our appointment the next day in the morning but didn't hear from anyone till the afternoon the day of the appointment,which in my opinion is unacceptable since there wasn't the call the day before or even the morning of to at the very least let me know there was a change of his schedule. Although I see this contractor has receive rave reviews, and perhaps this was that one experience that will not receive a glowing endorsement, I hope this was just an ab-oration and not the business as usual for this contractor.....

They promptly came out and look at the area - took measurments. They promtly emailed us a detail estimate. We got a second estimate. They were both comparable so we decided to go with Fence Work. We set up a good time. They arrived promptly and worked diligently, getting the work done ahead of schedules. Their work and fence products were of excellent quality. I will use again for all my fence work.

Doug came out, emailed me a qoute and did the work perfectly. In fact, it came out better then I thought it could. Him and his team did a great job. If you do not use this company, you are missing out on a job well done at your home or office.

Doug at Fence Works gave me a very competitive quote to replace my old wooden fence. He and his crew arrived on time each day, were very professional and cleaned up after they had completed the job on time. They took out my old wooden fence and poles, then replaced them with new metal poles and cedar fence. The yard looks great and has a completely different feel than before, so we are very pleased. We would not hesitate to use Fence Works again and would recommend it highly.

He called me back within 30 minutes and said he could come right over. He came and looked at the job and said he would come right back with an estimate. He had printed out an entire estimate and brought it back to me in about 10 minutes. He showed me all the different options for wood and explained everything he could do. He gave me a really good estimate and I was very impressed with him explaining everything to me. I did get one better offer, so I didn't end up using him, but it was only because of price. He was very punctual and professional.

Fenceworks was great. My fence looks fantastic. Sometimes I feel a little intimidated by contractors, but not Doug...he was really easy to work with and talk to. I would definitely use them again.

Doug arrived on time for a quote, listened to what I needed done and placed a bid. He answered all my questions. We later setup a time for him to install a fence. He called the day before to verify and installed the fence when scheduled. The fence looks great and I didn't have any problems.

Doug called the night before to confirm. He and another gentleman showed up exactly when he promised they would and finished the fence the same day.

Doug was punctual and professional. Gave me a written bid and approximate date service would be done. The total price was exactly what he bid, and they guys did a better job than I expected. They showed up when they were supposed to, and when the job was completed I had a beautiful new fence. They also did an excelent job of cleaning up. I could not ask for more.

Fence works arrived for the estimate when promised. Fence works performed the work when promised. The work and cleanup was excellent.

i contacted doug on feb 29 for a estimate and he showed up on time as was very professional , i told him two days later that i accepted the bid and was needing to set up date to start, well he very busy and i had to wait 6 weeks for him to start which was very long time but i thought someone this good would be backed up with work so i waited for the 6 weeks. he showed up on time everyday and worked very hard to get the fence install done,and look good but i will not says it perfect as almost every corner does not match up like it should and cannot understand why they would not match as he seem to have problems with the install, i later found out from my neighbors that doug and his son (his son works with him) got into a huge fist fight while build the fence about how to build it the correct way and i did not learn about this for sometime after the fact., now i did not see the fight so just taking my neighbors words on what happen but if it true then this is not very professional conduct.

8/22/12 - requested bid for chain link fence for my front yard via link on Angie's LIst. 8/24/12 - received email reply from Doug apologizing for delay and advising that chain link is not permitted in Haltom City. 8/24/12 - replied back (disappointed in city policy) but still interested in a bid on either iron or wood fence. 9/01/12 - sent another email : Doug, Any update or reply on this ? If no further reply by 9/5, I'll take that as you do not want to bid. 9/11/12 - no reply to date.

I had a number of people come and put in a bid for the job, but this was the one that was the most professional and he seemed to know the most about what he was doing, plus all the positive feedback we had about them was what made me go ahead and choose them for the job. He was booked up so I had to wait an additional month for him to actually do the work, but I felt so comfortable with him that I decided to wait for him. He did a fantastic job; it was better than I expected. It looks wonderful and I am extremely happy with the work. He came out when he said he was going to come out, and he left when he said he was going to leave. They cleaned up after themselves really well. He had come up with his price a month ago and I had gone ahead and come up with a price of what I thought it was going to cost after his quote, and then he came up with his final cost, and it was to the penny. I would absolutely use them again in the future if I needed to.
