They were absolutely wonderful! We had an antique light pole and they moved it for us prior to the big move within 2 hrs of notifying them they had a truck and to movers to move our light pole. They also worked with us on complicated scheduling for our move. We had booked a Wednesday in September to move and the builders on our new house, at the last minute, couldn't guarantee we could close on the house that day. Big Daddy's was completely booked the rest of the week but Rex said no worries they would get us moved even if it was in the middle of the night. They came in Wednesday morning and packed one truck and left it outside our house until we were given the ok to move in by our builders. That could have been Thursday or Friday but we closed Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. At 6:00 p.m. the movers were back to finish loading the trucks and moving us to our new house They finished moving us in at 10:30 p.m. The movers were helpful, courteous, and attentive to our concerns. They also all got along great with our big dogs. I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend them!

From the time I made contact with Big Daddys Moving to the time of having our belongings unloaded, service was great! The owner gave me some background, such as the training given to his employees, which told me he wanted the best moving experience possible. Moving consultant came to our home to assess number of boxes and trucks needed. Then walked me through upcoming process and assured me they would take the best care possible of my belongings. Confirmed with me the day prior of any dates that were set. Absolute total follow-thru. The gentlemen who did the packing and moving were very polite, professional and hard working. Highly recommend Big Daddys Moving.

The move went very well. The guys that moved us, David, Zane, MG and Colton worked very hard in over 100 degree day. They were courteous and did their best to make everything go well. They did everything we asked and more. We would recommend them highly.

This was by far the smoothest move I have ever had! It started out with a confirmation call the day before. And then at 9:00am the morning of my move I received a call from Alex letting me know that they were 20 minutes away. They were 10 minutes ahead of schedule! From start to finish Alex, Zane and Justin were awesome. And this was no easy move. I moved from a 2 story, 2 bedroom townhouse to another 2 story, 2 bedroom town house which is on the 2nd and 3rd floors. I gave them a heads up about all of the stairs that they would be encountering that day which happened to be the last day of August, they just smiled and said not a problem and went to work. They were amazing! By 11:00am we were driving down the street to my new place. Not only did they break down and setup my bed and washer and dryer, they also came up with a way to get my mothers sewing table into a very complicated apartment setup. They refused to be defeated. And did I mention they were super polite and never stopped smiling. I am recommending them to all my friends and anyone who asks.

Everything went extremely well. I received a call the day before to confirm, received another call in the morning about 30 minutes before the movers arrived to let me know they were on their way and an ETA. They showed up right on time. Took about an hour to move everything out of my 3rd floor 2 bedroom apartment, then another hour to drive to my storage unit and load that into the truck. 30 minutes to drive to the house, 15 minute lunch break (off the clock) then about another hour and a half to unload and arrange everything. The movers were all very friendly and professional, moved quickly and did a great job. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to move in the area.

The appointment was scheduled within a few days of when I made the call. The owner and his assistant showed up promptly. They were very personable, professional, accomodating and careful. They moved some pieces of furniture from my home to my mother's home and then some of her pieces back to my home. They also kindly dropped off a few items of furniture at Goodwill for me afterwards as I was cleaning out my recently deceased mother's home. I would definitely use them again.

The three movers that came (A.J., David, and Ivan) were very professional and very courteous the entire time. They showed up about half an hour early and all introduced themselves when they came in the house. They loaded the truck quickly and efficiently, while still being very careful with my possessions. As far as I can tell, nothing at all got broken during the move. Also did a very good job of moving furniture and other big objects in and out of houses without bumping into walls, other furniture, people, etc. The couple of times they weren't sure whether or not we wanted them to move something in the truck, they asked us instead of just dumping it in the truck, which was good, because we wanted to move a few things ourselves. They made sure everything was left where we wanted it before they left.

I'd hire them again in a heartbeat. Friendly, prompt, cool, and full of muscle and brawn. Super sensitive stud movers.

Great! They responded immediately. Gave me a time frame and were here EARLY. The movers were professional and very nice. This is the second time I have used them and they were excellent! I highly recommend this company.

I sold my house, and closing was scheduled for 11/23. I contacted Big Daddy's a couple of weeks before then and told them I needed furniture, boxes and miscellaneous items moved to a storage unit on 11/19. I described what needed to be moved and was given a choice between a two- or three-person crew. I chose the two. Someone called from the office a few days beforehand to confirm. The crew (Alex and Bronco, if I remember correctly) arrived at about 9 a.m. They introduced themselves and were very friendly and polite. Alex and I walked the house so I could tell him what needed to go and what should stay. They worked quickly and efficiently, and the entire move took about 3 hours. They treated me and my belongings with utmost respect. I would hire them again without hesitation.

They are wonderful!! Unfortunately we have had to move multiple times over the last few years. Big Daddy's moving has been my go to service provider since trying them on our first move. I will never call another mover! They are very professional, fast and have NEVER broken ANYTHING on all of our moves. The crews all work very hard and fast. Thank you again for making moving day so much less stressful!! Hopefully this will be our final destination, but if not I'll be calling them again. Definitely worth every penny! Thank you Rex and your crews for all of your help and hard work!

I actually booked just a few days in advance due to the closing for the house, and was able to make arrangements for August 30. The 3 man crew had the truck packed and ready to go in 2 hours (I had a ton of boxes plus two sofas and love seats). There were 2 drop off points and over 2 hours of driving. These guys were great!

After reading glowing reviews about Big Daddys Moving company in the HEB area, I contacted the company via email. I did not get an email response. However, the owner, Rex, actually called me at home at a later time or the next day [not sure]. He was very professional and cordial. He answered what questions I had at the time. He was apologetic about the time lapse in response, explaining that his secretary was unavailable and things had been so hectic. He told me that his secretary would forward an email to me stating the rates he quoted. I did not receive the email; I did check my spam and ensured the address was allowed. Having talked with other companies, a few questions came forth that I needed to ask Rex. I called Big Daddys again and did not get a contact. The voice message box was full. So, I placed my questions in an email and forwarded it to the company's email address as posted online. Ironically, after forwarding the email, and later that day, Rex, the owner, called me. I told him that I had called the line earlier, to no avail and therefore sent an email, for I had other questions to ask. I told him I was exhausted and didn't want to discuss business at that time. He informed me that he would look for my email and forward a reply. This took place on Monday evening, 6/15. Today, Wed., 6/17, I checked my email looking for his reply and answer to my questions. There was no reply. I then called the office and this time got a young lady. I briefly explained my contact with Rex and the email questions situation. One of my main questions to Rex was whether he could match a competitor's travel rate of $45 per hour. She quickly answered, no. I asked if I could asks Rex that, and she said, no. Because she's his niece and knows that he would not. She was rigid. I asked her, so, you all don't match competitor's prices. She said, "no, we don't". I thanked her and hung up. I'm torn on this for 2 reasons: I've never had an owner of a business to personally contact me and interact with me the way Rex did so. It impressed me and placed him high on the list to do business with [which is why called back after talking with a competitor]. Yet, I've never dealt with a business that absolutely did not match competitor's pricing -- or at a minimum, engage the prospective customer with the consideration of it. The lack of consideration of customer engagement really tarnishes this business' image. I'm not quite sure if Rex, the owner, is aware of this. The young lady wasn't rude, however, she wasn't engaging and she seemed 'rushed' in her tone. This interaction and experience prohibits me from grading this company an A. Understandably, I didn't use its services; however, customer experience starts and ends with the phone call. I was prepared to use them.

The service was excellent from start to finish. I called Big Daddy's after cancelling another mover I had booked and cancelled due to the experience I had with the other mover on the phone twice and my gut feeling was it wasn't going to go well and I researched and found some negative reviews of the other company that confirmed my feelings. So I cancelled them and called Big Daddy's after reading the other great reviews. I then called Big Daddy's and spoke to Erica. She was very professional, friendly and very informative answering all of my questions. She called me back several days before the move to confirm and again the day before the move to give me an ETA. The guys were scheduled for 9:30 and arrived at 9:25 am. I chose 2 men versus 3 as we were downsizing from a 1700 sq ft home to a 1200 sq ft apt. David and AJ quickly came inside and did a quick assessment of what we had and made a plan on how they would load the truck. These guys are awesome!! Extremely hard workers and no slacking off or laziness. It was 95 degrees the day of our move and our apartment was on the 2nd floor and required a good walk around to the back from the place the truck could pull up to the sidewalk. I offered to buy them lunch and asked if they would like a break , they declined. They never took a break the 5 hours and 15 minutes they moved other than the 30 minute drive from location to location. When they drank water it was while they were in motion to and from the truck. Outstanding service from start to finish! First Class all the way from the professionalism to their attitudes to the care of the furniture. Keep up the good work!

These guys stepped up and helped me out after a previous company failed to follow through with my move the previous weekend leaving me stranded between two homes. Big Daddys was very courteous and had a 3 man crew available for me the next day I called and arrived 15 minutes early! I was very impressed with this. They were very professional guys and I appreciated that. They also took very good care of my things. I hired these guys hourly at a very high rate (I should have negotiated, but was desperate) thinking they'd be done with my move quickly, as I moved most of my boxes and small things the previous week. What I didn't like is they had a new guy on the job who stood around waiting for someone telling him what to do. There wasn't much leadership or drive going on with this crew, so the move was EXCRUTIATINGLY slow....and as we know time is money. With the disorganization, and their truck (it had a mechanical platform that raised and lowered instead of a ramp) my move cost way more than it should have...and my entire day was wasted/gone (along with the money in my wallet). I was disappointed with the slowness and price mostly. Otherwise, this is a great group of guys and they took good care of my things.

Rex and William were punctual, professional, and honored the price given to me over the phone. I truly appreciate the care they both took to make sure nothing was damaged or broken in my home. Wen't great. 26 foot truck and a crew of 4 guys all wearing matching shirts. They were on-time, personable, clean, understanding to specific instructions, and very careful of all of our items. They only breaked for lunch (which we bought) and they didn't charge us for that time; they worked non-stop. Moved the following: Boxes, King Temperpedic Bed, Queen Bed, two 50" plus TVs, large art & mirrors, large bedroom suite, baby bedroom suite, guest bedroom suite, several antique buffets and furniture items, fridge, washer & dryer. In-town move of about 10 miles from one location to another.

We used a team of 4 men both during both of our moves. They were very professional, easy to work with, and hard working. They were extremely careful with all of our belongings. Obviously, we liked them so much from our first move that we called them again to move us 6 months later. I would absolutely reccommend Big Daddy's to anyone!

I'm updating my review of this company because they say they have no record of me. I hired this company for two different jobs. The first was in 2013 when they moved my stuff from a house on Estrella in Keller, TX to a house in River Oaks. There weren't any major problems, which is why I hired the company a second time in 2014 to unload my rented Penske truck at a house in River Oaks. This second time I got three different guys who took numerous smoke breaks and were seen dragging furniture across my wood floors. Then, when the final minimum amount due was different than what I was quoted over the phone, I brought it to the owner's attention. I simply wanted him to know that I was quoted something different, but I'm going to pay the full amount anyway. His response was something like this, "This is the way it's gonna be, my guys were there "X" hours and you're going to pay me "X" amount." I told him I'm going to pay it, but I just wanted him to know that the numbers are off on the quote I was given in case he'd like to know for future reference when office personnel are quoting jobs. And again he repeated "This is the way it's gonna be...." He never once apologized. In fact, he was very rude and unprofessional, which is why I won't hire them again.

They took longer than I thought but, that may have just been my underestimation. They were very professional and although they did drop something, I can't hold it against them because they were very nice about it and they took a little bit off the bill for it. When they did break something, they immediately brought it to my attention.

We moved from a 4 bedroom, two story home to a larger 4 bedroom, one story. We had most of our belongings already boxed up when four college aged men arrived on schedule. We promptly showed them all the packed boxes and furniture in each room. We specified which items not to load as we would personally transport them in our cars. They got right to work and decided it was best to make two trips to the new house. The first trip was with all the big furniture and the second trip was with some smaller items and all the boxes. They either wrapped the furniture in heavy plastic wrap or covered it in moving blankets. They worked fast but were very careful when loading items on and off the truck. They were professional at all times and worked really hard. We gave them a good tip and will not hesitate to use them again if we need their services in the future.
