it is the 4th time I requested Big Daddy Moving and they keep impressing me each time. And I recommend them to anyone I know. The move was flawless and quick. The 2 guys arrived on time and as scheduled and they quickly assess the situation and proceeded immediately with loading up the truck, they were extremely knowledgable on how to move heavy or tricky pieces so that they would not get dinged. They proceeded very quickly - did not waste any time - and secured the items in the truck where nothing was left to chance. The truck was loaded in a timely matter and we proceeded to the destination where the logistic was a little bit more complicated, corner a little tighter and a few more steps than the originating house, they again assess how to proceed and managed to get everything in the right room. All that done, way pass dinner time, and without a break.

Overall, it was a great experience. I had no worries about recommending Big Daddy's Moving to a co-worker.

Called Big Daddys on May 15, spoke with Rex, the owner. Set up a date for moving of May 29, and a date for an estimate of May 21.Rex arrived for estimate on time. He was efficient in his manner and made suggestions on how to save money by having more people for less hours to make the move. Extremely pleased with visit. Day of move arrived and crew called ahead to confirm their arrival, then arrived at the time specified in call, and the time specified during estimate. Chris and his crew were pleasant and quick. They moved out a 2-story, 4 bedroom, 3200 sq ft house in 2 1/2 hours, including having to move a very heavy treadmill from the second floor down a narrow staircase. They said they would meet me at new house in 1 1/2 hours, including non-paid lunch, and were there right on time. They moved all pieces into new house in under 2 hours, including taking extra care on 3 large, heavy, valuable pieces. Chris handled those items himself to make sure of extra care. They also were more than accomodating when I misdirected them with a couple of items and asked them to move them into different rooms. They stopped the clock as soon as the last item was in the house, then reassembled the treadmill and made sure that it worked properly on their own time.I never want to move again, but, if I do, they will be the call I make.

The 3 guys who did the job were extremely competent and efficient. They made the move very easy. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone.

This company is fantastic! Our new home flooded and in order for the disaster relief service to minimize the damage, we needed to move all of the boxes, furniture, etc. back to storage. Big Daddy's Moving was the only company that answered the phone after hours (we called at 7:30 pm) and they were available the next morning. I explained the circumstance and the requirement that everything be removed by noon. They sent three guys and a 26' truck. They arrived at 8:30 as promised and they drove to the storage unit by 11:30 so everything was out of the way for the disaster relief company. They were very efficient, completely professional, cared for our items (no damage to items, walls, etc.), and were considerate of the circumstance. All boxes and furniture that appeared to be damp or have damage were brought to my attention so that they could be looked at and photographed prior to being loaded onto the truck. That was extremely helpful. We will definitely call them to return our items once the house is repaired.

Rex (owner) is a polite, respectful, ex-military and trains his employees accordingly. Although Rex could not be present, the three young men who moved her were paid by the hour but ran the stairs, were extremely polite and very skilled. For a very big couch two moved and one acted as a spotter, even offering his hand as a buffer to the couch and a wall so the couch did not get damaged. Time for working only was charged. Fragiles (art and glass) were appropriately packed and we had no damage. We recommend Rex and Big Daddy without reservation and have and will recommend him to relatives and friends. You will not be disappointed if you call Big Daddy.

GREAT JOB! Very professional and the guys seemed to enjoy working together. Not one scratch on any doors, furniture, or walls. They even had to remove doors to get the large couches in. Again, TERRIFIC JOB!

OUTSTANDING. Could not have gone any better. Chris and Chris and AJ were fabulous. Worked very quickly yet carefully. Extremely couteous and helpful. Disassemled beds and reassembled at the new location. I highly recommend Big Daddys. The price was very fair and the experience was exceptional.

It went great and i plan on using their service again to move my mother. they wrapped everything carefully, were especially careful of the antique furniture. They were helpful, took everything apart and brought it to the new house and put things back together for us. they were about an hour late starting on the first day but Rex called to let me know and i was not charged. Rex stayed with the crew and he gave them input on how to handle several pieces of furniture so there was no damage. Over all great experience. out of the whole house of stuff, nothing was broken or missing or left behind. They made an extra stop to drop off one piece of furniter and were accomodating to our schedule. There was no slacking off with these guys! I can't say enough about how careful they were with everything.

Rex, and his team were great! They were on time and professional. They helped us navigate a car issue, and even made an extra stop for us! I have moved before, but they were the best.They will handle all my moves from now on.

During the entire process the service was exceptional. The price was much lower than the other quotes we received. The two movers were professional, hard working, and careful with our belongings. They worked fast with no breaks. I have never seen movers work that hard. None of our belongings were damaged.

Big Daddys Moving is the BEST movers I've ever used!!! It was a very short notice when I reached Rex that week but he agreed to do the move on Sunday morning @ 10 am . He wasn't sure if they would be able to move the items from the second home that day or would need to schedule that for another day. But he would get the storage units emptied out. Rex called me Sunday morning @ 9:30 as he said he would to confirm the 10 am meeting at the storage unit in Hurst. He suggest a 3rd man to make the move go faster and reminded me of a 15% off coupon on Angie's List that would cover the small additional fee for the 3rd man. By 11:45 am they had moved my furniture from Hurst to Arlington, unloaded at the first home and was at the location of the storage unit on the opposite side of Arlington, ready to load again. I was amazed!! They loaded everything at that unit and drove to the next home. There they moved some bedroom furniture out and brought some in from the garage. They moved some from one room to another to make room for what they unloaded. With their truck loaded again, Rex decided they would need to move these items and come back for a 2nd load. We went back across Arlington to the 1st home and unloaded. Rex and his men then took a lunch break and agreed to be at the 2nd home in 1 hour. (This lunch time was off the clock at no charge to me.) The men showed up as planned and loaded the remainder of the items at the 2nd home, including a refrigerator, a tall file cabinet and a dining table from the garage. I have many very large, extremely heavy items of furniture plus heavy exercise equipment. They loaded it all and took it to the 1st home to unloaded. They moved a dining table out and placed it in the garage to make a spot for the table they were moving in. They unloaded everything and placed it where I wanted it and even placed a couple of item in a different spot when I changed my mind. This 3 in 1 move was completed by 6:30 pm. Everything done without having to schedule another day. Rex deducted the coupon discount from my total due. I was so satisfied with these movers I added extra as a tip for the 3 men. Anytime you move you expect something to get broken. These men were so careful with everything I can't find even a scratch. They worked steady and definitely hard to get the job completed even though it was an extremely hot day. I would call this company in the future if I needed anything moved. Can't say enough good about them. THEY WERE WONDERFUL!!!

2 guys showed up within the time frame they quoted me and got right to work. They carefully moved all of my furniture and were able to unload it in excellent time. It ended up being just under the 2 hour mark and with the coupon on Angie's List I only had to pay $150. Both guys were super friendly including the owner who was one of the movers. I would most definitely use them again!

My phone call was returned promptly and a date set to have furniture moved from one room of the house to another so that we could install new flooring. Two very polite, friendly, and strong young men showed up exactly on time and did the work with precision, taking much care not to scratch the furniture or the walls or floors. It didn't take the full minimum time so there was no charge for them to return to replace the furniture a week later. I was extremely pleased and would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

Couldn't give a more sincere positive recommendation. These guys were great. Rex the owner is laid back and cool but also very hard working and professional. The time frame estimates he gave me were right on and his hourly rate was considerably lower than other competitors with high rankings on this site. He also honored his Angie's List coupon and agreed to not deposit my check (per my request) until two days following the move. Rex also called a couple of days later to follow up. Rex and another gentleman showed up on time and worked tirelessly to load their truck. They were constant working at a very high pace, going up and down two flights of stairs. They quickly finished loading and arrived at the house which was about 45 minutes away. They immediately started unloading. They were professional and careful with every piece. Rex is a retired New York police officer and started this business about a year ago. The do great work and I appreciate how fast they worked as they do charge by the hour. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a mover
