I called a couple of weeks in advance to schedule the move and left a voice mail which was promptly returned. When I discussed the job over the phone a three person team was recommended based on the number of locations, the fact that both apartments were on the third floor. And the desire to do everything in one day. This ended up being a good suggestion as things went very smoothly. There were no problems at all with the move and nothing really to note other than that the whole experience from start to finish was very good. They were very efficient, friendly, and courteous the entire time. I have used movers multiple times before and this was my best experience.

They were on time and never slowed down the entire day (9 hours it took!) Nothing was broken and everything was handled with care and concern. Thank you! JL&SL

The team was on time and worked quickly- the entire move took less than five hours.Everything was smooth, I appreciate the guys being willing to help arrange the furniture!- I was especially concerned about the piano, but no worries. It was wrapped in blankets and firmly secured, arrived without a single ding.

They did a good job, had a minor issue removing the washer, broke the water line in the wall and dumped water all over the place. It was honestly not their fault as this was a pipe that had clearly been broken several times. However they owned the issue, came back and fixed the job completely. I was happy that they did not try to pawn this off on the apartment and handled the issue even though I know it cost them money and time to get it fixed. That is about all you can ever ask for out of a mover is honesty.

Big Daddy movers (Big Aaron & Little Aaron) were punctual, professional, friendly, fast & efficient. The easiest move our family has ever made. The job was finished in just 3 1/2 hours. And with the Angie's List coupon, what a bargain! We highly recommend this company.

Great! both of the young men ( Chris1 and Chris 2 ) were very professional and hard working. They arrive on time and with straight to work. I've never seen two guys work so hard! They were very careful with our furniture and with above and beyond to move everything needed. I would absolutely use this company again.

I hired Big Daddy?s Moving Co., which I found on Angie's List. My son saved his money to move to his own apartment and pay for the moving company. The movers were excellent. They were on time, took good care of everything and moved him into his apartment. He was short about $20.00 and they told me "don't worry about it." Of course, I will reimburse them, but it was very considerate of them not to embarrass my son. I will definitely use them again.

These guys were tremendous! Dealing with them on the phone was a lot better than some of the competition, which tended to have lots of special exceptions (more expensive on weekends etc.). They start billing you a half hour before you arrive to cover their travel expenses, which is a lot less complex than many companies. Rex was casual yet professional, which is just the kind of service I appreciate. I understand he is an ex-police officer. Nice fellow. The guys (Aaron and Chris) arrived on time, and were super-friendly and mindful of special instructions we had regarding valuables and fragile items. My valuables were treated with great care. They were really speedy too! They got in and out a lot faster than I could have imagined, and were happy to have us help them in order to speed things up (and save us money). The move was done sooner than estimated, and we were so pleased that nothing was damaged. They followed all our instructions to the letter. Can't say enough good things about this company. If I ever move again in the Metroplex, I will definately call Big Daddy's again.

Big Daddy's movers were very courteous and professional. They also did a solid job of loading the trailer (7x12). We did a self-load for our move from Cali to Texas and the trailer would sway wildly if you exceeded 60 mph. On this move from Texas to Georgia we never experienced swaying. My only complaint is that they didn't follow an instruction we gave them regarding wrapping/ padding out belongings (this is the point off/ B grade for quality). When they arrived they asked us to outline the job. We showed them a pile of blankets we provided for wrapping furniture, and also some cardboard shock absorbers that were to be placed under the large screen tv (in it's box) to provide cushion. They acknowledged our instructions and started loading our boxes. When it came time to load the furniture I noticed the blankets were gone and thought that maybe they had taken them downstairs and planned to wrap the furniture after they carried it down. I asked them if that was their plan. They looked confused so I reminded them about the pile of blankets. They responded that my husband ( who was downstairs with the trailer) told them to use the blankets to cushion the tv. I had extra paper pads so they were able to use that as a substitute, and nothing was damaged in the move for lack of padding/ protection. After the job was done I asked my husband why he told the guys to use all the blankets for the tv when he knew we needed to wrap some of the furniture. He responded that he did not say that and that they had used the blankets instead of the cardboard shock absorbers to cushion the tv (he didn't catch this on time because he was sitting in his truck reading while they loaded the trailer.) I believe this was a miscommunication error. Would I use Big Daddy's again - yes, they were very courteous, careful with our belongings, and know how to load a trailer. However next time I would "supervise" the process to ensure my wishes were carried out rather than just giving instructions at the beginning of the job and checking in from time-to-time.

If you are concerned about finding a great mover, you've found it. Arrived early in a New liftgate truck, went right to work. Careful. Caring. And really nice guys.

This was a fantastic moving experience. The young men who moved me were very careful and cognizant of protecting my furniture and home. There was no slacking to be found. They were there to work hard, and work hard they did! In particular, Chris Pittman (who I assume was their team lead) was outstanding. He was very careful and quick to provide guidance to the other guys on how things should be moved, pitfalls to watch for, and ways to protect both my belongings and the walls/doors to both houses. The care he took was more valuable than anything else he could have done. What was also very impressive was how cordial and respectful he was, particularly for such a young man. There were a couple of very minor issues with a console table that got scraped slightly and a split in a piece of wood underneath my dining table, but he did not try to hide anything or make any excuses. He called me over and pointed out the issue, and either made a recommendation or, in the case of the dining table, fixed it outright. The other guys were great too, but Chris definitely left a lasting impression on me, and I will remember Big Daddy Moving in the future primarily because of the fine work and leadership of this young man.

They were only a little late, but Rex called me and told me when they would arrive. They were professional, took good care of my belongings, did everything I asked them to do, and worked very hard in excessive heat. I would DEFINITELY use them every time I move. As a matter of fact, next week they are moving an entire storage building worth of contents for me! Thanks guys!

Rex was so nice to speak with when setting up the move. The three-man team showed up early, and got me moved (6 miles between locations) in under three hours start-to-finish. Everything was wrapped nicely, moved with care, and with absolutely no damage to my belongings or any of the surfaces in my new home. Great guys to work with!

WOW! I can't even begin to say how amazing this company is! The owner is present during the move and takes great pride in his work. They were very professional and the most polite movers I have ever dealt with and I've dealt with a lot since I'm a realtor. Our move took over 12 hours and the employees were just as happy and polite at the end of the day as they were at the beginning. They moved our whole house and we don't have a single scratch on anything. They are very fast too, which in the long run saves money when you are paying by the hour. This is the only moving company I will ever use, and the only one I will ever recommend to my clients. Great job Rex!!! It's so nice to know there are still people who take pride in what they do and provide excellent customer service too!

My son had some items in storage and needed to have them moved to an apartment. Since the apartment complex gave my son only a couple of days notice that the apartment was ready, I wasn't sure how long we would have to wait to schedule a mover. I called Big Daddy's Moving to see if there was any chance of moving the items on Saturday. Rex checked his schedule and a customer had just changed an appointment time for that day. Rex said that change would give him enough time to handle the move for us. We were very grateful that he was able to arrange a time for the move so quickly. The price he quoted was very reasonable and he even gave us the Angie's list discount. The movers were right on time and were very careful packing the items on the truck. They also took great care when unloading the truck and moving the items into the second floor apartment. Some of the larger items, such as the couch, were difficult to maneuver from the stairwell through the front door due to the angle of the entryway. The movers did an outstanding job getting the items through the tight space without any scratches to the walls or furniture. This was not an easy thing to do and given the fact that they completed this job so perfectly when it was almost 100 degrees outside is remarkable!! These guys are terrific and I highly recommend them..

Our son needed to move to college 200 miles from home. After looking through Angie's List, we called Rex at Big Daddy's Moving based solely on the reviews. We have never used this company for any of our past moves. Rex was very attentive and answered all of our questions. We had several phone calls and e-mails in order to address all of our concerns and firm up the details and cost of the move. We have had several bad experiences in the past with other movers. On the day of the move, Chris and Erin, along with a third crew member (cannot remember his name but he was an ex-Marine and it showed in his excellent work ethic), appeared on our front porch and moved a little more than a one bedroom's apartment worth of furniture (several heavy pieces) to our son's new apartment 200 miles away. They took great care in moving our belongings. We had requested a third mover to come and help on the front-end of the move because, with the removal of the furniture that we were giving our son, we needed to rearrange the furniture that remained, which included relocating a very heavy desk from the second floor of our home to the first. All three of these young men were very professional and worked hard to complete the move as quickly as possible. Not one was ever standing around doing nothing. Chris had been up very late on another move the night before and you would have never known it. The entire crew showed up at our front door bathed, clean cut, and wearing clean clothes, which is such a breath of fresh air compared to other moving companies we have employed in the past. Chris was the lead and it was obvious that he knew what he was doing. He walked the job with us and politely and attentively listened to our expectations. He then immediately translated this information into precise instructions to the crew. They, in turn, sprang into action and began moving our furniture just as we had discussed. One of them would occasionally ask a question to clarify, but for the most part, they worked quickly and efficiently which allowed us to relax knowing they were working hard and being careful with our furniture and home. They arrived at 9:15 in the morning and were done by 3:50 even with a break for lunch and driving three hours to the new destination. On each leg of the move, they asked what more they could do and they meant it. Several times we changed our minds on the placement of furniture and boxes and they happily moved things accordingly. At the end of the move, they charged us per our agreement (no hidden fees) and we also had an Angie's List coupon which saved us $120.00. The reviews for Big Daddy's Moving were the reason we chose this company, but it was a nice bonus to have the coupon for this long distance move. We will DEFINITELY be using them in the future and requesting Chris and Erin.

Rex, Owner of Big Daddy's Movers, is very professional, friendly, reliable and quality oriented. Rex and his team member, Sean, worked very well together through-out the entire move. They were careful to take good care of every piece of furniture. They were also very accommodating and included items here and there that I asked "can you move this too," etc... I definitely recommend them and will certainly call upon them them again when the need arises.

Bid Daddy's is a great moving company. The did my 1200 sq foot move from Weatherford to Ft Worth in less than 4 hours. They shrink wrapped all of my funiture with drawers to ensure the safety of those items and then they carried each item out to their truck. They do not use dollies which I appreciated.The were very professional and a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend them!

I've moved dozens of times, but Big Daddy's Moving is the only company I will ever use again. Because the original crew was in a car accident on the way to my move, another crew had to be called in. Rex made sure I knew what was happening and assured me they would get my move done that day. The crew of three men showed up and quickly loaded up the apartment, taking special care to wrap items so they wouldn't be damaged. It was an incredibly hot day but they didn't take any breaks. They quickly unloaded the apartment into the new storage unit and then went to another storage unit loaded it up and back to the new unit. The guys were incredibly polite and nice, always saying thank you and yes ma'am. They did a fantastic job.

When I called the number listed for Big Daddy's, Rex immediately returned my call and worked around my schedule and his to get my move done very quickly. I had taken some time off work for the 4th of July week and he made sure my move was done during that week to fit my schedule. He was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The day of the move went very smoothly and I could not be more pleased.

These guys are awesome. They where on time and moved quickly. Very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family and I would use them again. Great company :)

They did a great job. They were on time and when their truck broke down, they felt so bad they gave us a great break on the cost.
