Description of Work: I WAS LOW ON FREON CALLED TO GET A PRICE BECAUSE I KNEW WHAT I NEEDED. THE QUOTE WAS FOR ONE PRICE AND WHEN HE WAS DONE IT WAS 100 MORE HE DID NOT USE A SCALE TO SEE HOW MUCH FREON HE PUT IN SO HE GUESSED I USE TO DO THIS FOR LIVING SO I KNOW HOW TO DO THE WORK IT WAS JUST SPOTTY WORK

+ -1 moreStarting from the top I found McGilberry Mechanical to be an excellent company. They are true professionals who care about their customers. As I mentioned earlier I have an older unit ( 18 years old) and when the time comes to replace the unit.... I will definitely go with Mike Nokes at McGilberry. As a matter of fact I tried 4 Hvac Companies in the Huntsville area, McGilberry stood head and shoulder above the other companies. Their estimates were right on the money. I believe that a true professional should know his business inside and out and the first thing is how to give a correct estimate on equipment, labor cost to complete the job. That is just what McGilberry delivers.....true professional from top down.
Description of Work: My central air conditioning unit seemed to be a poor job of cooling. I had tried other Hvac companies in area. Wanting a different opionon on my a/c system. I call Mike at McGilberry Mechanical they were very prompt and professional. My older unit has been running for close to a year with no problems. Another local a/c company rep told me that I had a leak in the cooling coils and the system would soon fail. Mike fixed all the problems that he found and my a/c system is running with no problems or issues.

+ -1 moreThey did fine. I was just so busy working that I haven't had time to tend to it. My options are still open and I haven't decided. I've been told I can get the same thing for a better price but I don't know that. They were very nice and professional.
Description of Work: I got a bid from McGilberry Service to install a new air conditioner with new vents and insulation in my attic.
