Sheryl's Meticulous Maid Service

To make this short and to the point - I contacted the provider to discuss my needs. I was a bit nervous since this would be my very first time in life having a maid service at my home. I actually spoke with the owner and she made me feel quite comfortable. The services were very well priced for the deep cleaning I received. The ladies did a heck of a job and I actually think my house had more work than what they expected. I had to provide the cleaning supplies, but honestly they barely used them and had a lot of supplies on them that have my house smelling so good. The next day, they called to ask how everything went and to schedule any future cleanings. My husband and myself were well pleased and we will definitely use their services in the future.

They told me I would have the same person every week. I have not had the same person. They don't come at the same time everytime like they are supposed to. I have a number of health issues and am only hiring someone to do the work that I cannot. I have come across two places where they should have cleaned and obviously haven't. I have called twice and there is never anyone in the office.

Three ladies arrived at 9 am. They went to work immediately and worked hard until noon. They were able to clean my white, ceramic cook top stove, which is difficult since there was black, burned-on grease residue. They also cleaned my white sink which had black marks in it. I go through and pick up my jewelry, cash and important mail before the maid service arrives, just to be on the safe side. However, my 9 year old son left his saved report card money on an open shelf in his room. I found it there after the ladies left. Not only did they do a good job, but they are also trustworthy.

No complaints. Glad to have the help.

Sheryl said they would come to my home and do a really thorough first time job. The stove was not cleaned well, streaks were left. There was dust on my double ovens on the ledges where the knobs are. They just dusted around things not under things. Most of my floors are laminate or tile. Only the bedroom has carpet. Sheryl and I agreed on return trips bi-weekly of $65.00. When I spoke to her supervisor who said her name was Della she was rude and abrupt. When I called to get charges for this 2nd visit I was given a charge of something like $87.02 Much higher than the charge of $65.00. I called back to speak to Sheryl and Della informed me she was not in. When I asked when she would be in I was told she was out sick. I called several times prior to that and no one would answer the phone. This is not a good way to run a business in my opinion.

We had our furniture picked up on Saturday and were going to do our own cleaning on Monday, but my wife became too ill to even travel. In a panic, I tried a couple of people from Angie's List but couldn't get anyone out that quickly. I found Sheryl through an internet search, and she sympathized with my dilemma and found a crew to come out that day. 2 1/2 hours later, 3 nice ladies showed up and pretty much threw me out of the house! Actually, I was very happy to go. They did the entire place in about 3 1/2 hours and it hadn't been that clean since the day we took possession from the builder. They really worked hard and did a really thorough job. I had been trying to talk my wife into this anyway, and it was the best money I could have spent, allowing me to concentrate on clearing junk out of the garage while she recuperated. I cannot thank Sheryl enough for coming to our rescue, and would recommend her to anyone who needs a cleaning service.
