Several people on my street used Victor Ramos at Ramos Remodeling in Humble, TX, (832) 450-2868 - he came by and gave me a verbal bid. I asked him to send formal bid breakdown of materials and labor. He asked for 3 K to buy materials upfront and immediately went to my bank and cashed the check. I had to ask him several times to send his bid - it was written on a legal pad and included money for food and gas and was an absolute joke on pricing. I asked him to return my money - he then blocked my number. Gave him a check in good faith since neighbors used him. My bank is investigating the case and I am filing a formal police report tomorrow - he stole my money. Never trust anyone is my lesson learned.
