H & L Air & Heat

Very pleasant tech showed up shortly after call.’ Fixed the unit rapidly. Wife was happy. Only one other outfit bothered to call back and that was after this Company/tech had completed the job and left.

Hector is great!! One of our A/C units went out and I called Hector with H&L air and heat. He was quick to respond and very reliable. He took his time and fixed the problem, was very honest and extremely fair with price. It’s very easy in the air conditioner business to charge more, but that’s not Hector’s character, he’s very honest and I completely trust him, this is a very reliable company and I completely recommend them!!

They came late in the evening as scheduled and looked in the attic as well as the unit outside and determined there was a leak in the evaporator coil and the system was completely out of freon. The technician said there was no way to fix the leak (which they were selling for $120/lbs) and basically tried to up sell a new evaporator coil for $3200 or replace the entire unit for $7000. After having someone a family member recommended come look, he determined that it was a a bad valve and a loose cap that needed to be tightened and sealed. He said there was NO LEAK INSIDE AT ALL. He did the work and added 5 lbs of Freon for $450 and the ac is good as new. They charged me $100 for the trip charge and $69 to check the leak (which was misdiagnosed). Not saying this a bad company but I would do all due diligence.

Replace 2 HVAC systems and ductwork. A 4-ton and 5-ton systems were replaced with all new equipment, permits and inspection went flawlessly, areas were left cleaner than when they started. Additional duct runs were required per my request and were added and installed as expected. Installation crew misunderstood a small aspect of my requests, and when owner inspected the work (before I looked at it), he had the installation crew back the next day to fix it without my having to bring it up. It was a large job, and price was competitive.

Hector and Jose did great work. They installed a new air conditioning unit last spring and also did excellent work

Always Perfect!!! We have used H&L for 3+ years after being mislead by several others. Not one time have I felt overcharged for their "quality work." It has always been done with perfection. Their crew is always professional, well stocked for job, always on time and clean up after themselves. I would and have recommend this company to everyone I know with complete confidence that they will be completely satisfied! This company is true to their word. Jobs are done right the first time. I'd stake my friendship with you on it!!!

After cleaning the coil I asked him about this 3 month filter I had purchased from the big box store. He explained it this way..."A baby diaper is rated for 5 pounds, but do you really want to?" My assistant and I were laughing so hard I nearly had tears. I would not dream of using anyone else.

Company tried less expensive fix last month (at our request) but unit did not last. Credit was given for previous work on new system. Price on new system was very good, work was done in timely manner. Appreciated the 24 hr. service. Registration of equipment was done by company and tax credit certificates presented to me. I will definitely use this company again.

Overall the job went very well. I was pleased with everything they did. I would use their services again in the future.
