Frank Perez Painting

When touring the house, they were very well aware of the job that was expected. Frank and his son were very friendly when we would discuss things at the house. During the time while they were painting the house, my main concern was that they would seldom return phone calls. When I finished, they said to make a list of any problems I found. Overall, they did some things very well. The lines where the walls and ceiling meet a very sharp. The baseboards were all nicely repaired. Unfortunately they had a lot of misses as well. In some places, it almost looks like the paint was watered down. There are drips everywhere and there were a lot of places on the cabinets, walls and doors where they didn't wipe paint that had accidentally been put there by them. The countertops are supposed to be smooth when they're painted, but mine have the sharp mineral shards sticking up everywhere which makes it horribly difficult to keep clean. If you try to use a rag, it snags, and they just chew up sponges, not to mention how it feels on skin. When I called for them to come back and make the fixes, they never returned my call. Unfortunately, I trusted them and paid them the full amount. Live and learn. What what's even more frustrating is that I offered to pay for more of the material to fix the countertops, but again got no response.
