Excellent work. Numerous color samples were prepared to make our final color selection. He arrived at the scheduled times and worked through completion of the project.

This was the second job that we hired Severiano Avila to do for us. The first job was done in 2009, flooring most of the upstairs of our house with 3/4", nail-down pre-finished oak (Bruce). The results were excellent, especially the work he did on the stairs. Severiano is very much a hardwood flooring artist. He really takes pride in his work. We decided to do the entire downstairs of our house with Anderson 5" engineered hardwood, so we called Severiano Avila to do the job for us. One thing I have to tell you is you will need to be patient because Severiano stays very busy. It took about 2 months after we called him for him to get to our job. That was fine with us. We ordered the material online from Fast Floors (a very good experience) and let Severiano buy the adhesive and the trim locally. He can buy the trim locally and match the flooring perfectly at a much lower cost than ordering pre-finished trim from the flooring manufacturer. Severiano charged us $2.25 per square foot to install the flooring, plus the cost of the adhesive and the trim. Note that the good quality adhesive is not cheap, about $100 per 5 gallon bucket and it took 5 x 5 gallon buckets for the 1,800 square feet. It took Severiano and his helper almost a week to complete the job. That included moving all of the furniture and shuffling it from room-to-room as needed. They did a good job of covering everything with plastic to keep the dust from making too much of a mess. Realize that if you stay in the house when this type of work is being done that you will sort of be "camping" because everything has to be moved and everything is covered with plastic to protect it from dust. There is a lot of dust from the floor leveling. We were very pleased with the flooring and the installation. I give Severiano Avila my highest recommendation.

We had an outstanding experience with Severiano Avila and his crew. The hardwood installation on the stairs was complicated and challenging. Severiano did an excellent job and the finished work looks fantastic. Severiano is a real artist and takes a lot of pride in his work. Severiano measured for us and we got a great deal by ordering the hardwood material on-line from Fast Floors. The people at Fast Floors were also very good to work with. Severiano bought all of the trim material locally and custom stained and finished the trim. Doing the trim this way saved us money compared to purchasing trim from the hardwood supplier. We plan to do additional hardwood installation this year and we will definitely be calling Severiano. If you want to use Severiano, you may have to wait a while because he stays busy. However, it will be worth the wait. When he worked our job, we had 100% of his attention and he stayed until the job was done perfectly. His pricing is competitive and the quality of his work is excellent.

I called to get an estimate on new installation of porcelain tile to be installed in a bathroom and similar sized area outside of bathroom. The gentleman I spoke with said someone would call me to set up an appointment. No call ever came, which I thought was quite rude and unprofessional. If they were not interested in performing the services, they could have just told me that. I ended up using someone else and was very satisfied with the quick response to scheduling and with the work performed.

The flooring looks great! The owner of the company is very pleasant to work with. The work was finished on time and the crew was punctual.
