The cameras work great, the location of the monitor is not exactly where I wanted it. Make sure you work out the location of the monitor before installation.

Some of my home alarm sensors were not working and I wanted an independent person to fix this sensors. He only replaced the ones which needed replacing and fixed the others for free with simple tweaks. Great service.

Hector (owner) has been handling our alarm needs for almost 6 years. He has set up security systems for us at two different houses, his company monitors them, and handles any maintenance requirements. Hector always responds to my calls/texts, is professional, detailed in his work, and I highly recommend Archangel for any security needs.

Terrible! I have called 3 times to have SOMEBODY, ANYBODY to come out and to our business to give us an estimate for services since 7/18! Other reviews said to ask for Hector Cantu, his rating seemed to be good. I'm very disappointed that I didn't even get a call back after leaving several msg's. Not good business practice! Thanks

The proposals, work and follow up items were handled promptly and professionally. I will continue to use them on my future projects.

Update: They resolved my issue and credited my account. It did take some time to contact them, but the problem was handled without any problems.

Ok. He was hard to reach to set appointment.

The repair was completed though the service provider brought his girlfriend into our house ostensibly to assist in the repair. There was some miscommunication on arraigning the service call as I was called by multiple individuals to schedule the service appointment. Ultimately the work was completed and the alarm was repaired but I would likely not use these guys again.

Hector was awesome, knowledgeable, personable and a great business owner. This is the last home security company contact I will need in Houston. I plan on hiring him again.

Perfect. I live in West U and so the system is connected directly to the West U police department. The equipment cost isn't subsidized by the cost of the service but instead of using a third party to monitor, I am connected directly to the city services. i live in a townhome with a small attic and steep roof lines. They did an amazing job of meeting the challenges of the install and getting the cameras placed exactly where I wanted them. Great guys.

Hector, arrived on time and looked over my old system and gave me an estimate on a new one. I accepted offer and he went to work installing it. Was done in about 3 hours, then walked me thru what was done. Also gave quick lesson on alarm pad and settings. Everything was great and the system is running great. I do have a monthly alarm fee of $37 a month which I was expecting, also happy that every time my alarm is turned on/off I get a text on my phone which is great as I can then view my cameras at my house if needed. A+++ job!

I was in search of a new monitored security for my home. I looked at countless reviews and compared quotes from various providers. My research led me to Hector Cantu with Archangel Alarm Services. He has a lot of positive reviews on Angie's List , which led me to contact him for a quote. My experience with him definitely corroborates all of the positive reviews. Hector was very professional in his dealings. I scheduled an appointment for him to come to my house to walk it down and give me an assessment of my security needs. Hector was very knowledgeable and gave me a thorough assessment. I was impressed with his knowledge and with the fact that he sought to find the most cost effective way of meeting my immediate needs. I compared the system that Hector was offering me against other providers and found his to be the most competitive offer with the best equipment. Long story short, I went with Hector and was glad of my choice. He went out of his to ensure everything was installed to our liking and addressed any questions or issues we had. I plan on expanding my security system in the future with additional sensors and cameras and I will definitely rely on Hector for this.

Terrible service. - Moved and cancelled service - Received alarm notification for a house that I did not live in - Called Archangel and had my phone # removed and received confirmation that my account had been closed. - Continued to get billed monthly - Called Archangel and was told that no refund would be given. This is 4 months after initial cancellation.

They schedule your appointment, come out on time, and do what they are suppose to. One person comes out and it takes him about fifteen minutes to test everything. He changed some codes and he was done. I would say they have good prices, knows what he is doing, has all the equipment with him at all times, and he does not need to return if he needs a part. I have recommended them to several of my friends.

Excellent service. I was looking to leverage my existing hardwired alarm system without having to get a land line. The current system had a fault in one of the sensors and I had actually unplugged the whole thing, and took the siren off because the previous owners didn't give me the code. Hector let me know when he was 30 minutes away and showed up on time. He fixed everything on the system and actually was going to install everything for $0 with a 3 year monitoring contract ($35/month), but I opted to replace the two control panels and boards for $199 as well, just because I liked the display on the new ones better. He took the time to explain how the whole thing worked, and we tested it together when he was done. He also answered all my questions about cameras with wireless monitoring. We contacted Archangel to get an estimate for a security camera system installed. Hector was prompt courteous and professional. On the agreed date, called ahead to let us know he was on the way and arrived on the agreed time. He was easy to work with on the planning and was receptive to our needs. The installation was completed on the agreed date. When I came home from work, I noticed a couple of minor cosmetic issues and contacted Hector. He took care of them promptly to our satisfaction.

Our experience with Archangel was very positive. Hector met us at our home to assess the existing system and make recommendations. On the day of the install (a few days later), he discovered that an additional part had to be replaced to work with the system and went to get it that day. He carefully went over the set up of the system, checked that all signals were working correctly, and instructed us on the use of the system, including the mobile app. The only minor critique was the length of time it took on installation day -- because he had to go look for a part, it ended up taking the better part of a full day. Aside from that, we have been pleased with service, and like patronizing a small, local business.

When I called, Hector said he could come out to give a quote that very day. He assessed our property and needs and gave us four different options for the alarm system to suit different budgets, and two options for the cameras. The next day, he called to follow-up, and I let him know we wanted to move forward with the contract. When he arrived the day of installation, they got straight to work and installed the door sensors and motion detectors. He warned us before he tested alarms and showed us how to use the keypad and access the controls on our phone. The wiring for the wires was completed ahead of time, and they scheduled a time to return and complete the camera portion of the job. This occurred two days later and was wrapped up swiftly. Again, Hector showed us how to operate the system both manually and through our phones. They cleaned up pretty well--just a tiny bit of wiring and dust here and there, but overall they did a great job.

I found Hector to be quite knowledgeable in his product, placement of sensors / motion detectors, and installation. As a law enforcement officer with over 20 years experience (I didn?t make this known to Hector), I have seen my fair share of poor installation and improper sensor placement. I knew what I wanted and where I wanted the sensors to be placed. When seeking Hector?s opinion, he wasted no time in making his recommendations known and the type of sensors needed. When dealing with other alarm companies for quotes, I found that they were quick to recommend an over-abundance of equipment in order to increase their sales. Most had sent out sales representatives with limited knowledge of the product and others usually responded with canned responses of their product. This was not the case with Hector. He recommended exactly what was needed to cover my home and I was very pleased with the cleanliness of his installation. Once the system was installed, Hector took the time explain all aspects of the operation of the system and addressed all questions and concerns. I am very pleased with his services and would highly recommend you give him a call.
