Description of Work: We called Aqua Blue Pools to fix the following problems with our pool.: 1) Replace spa light. 2) Repair pool light because it kept burning out and tripping the GFI. 3) Repair the spa because it would not work. Aqua Blue Pools handled this service call the following way: 1) They did not bring a spa light so they were unable to repair that light without charging for another service call. 2) They replaced the pool light bulb. However, this bulb burned out within hours of installation because the pool light seal was broken and the entire light assembly needs to be replaced. We have since learned that this is basic knowledge that any pool repairman should know. 3) He tapped on the actuator for the spa and it starting working. He told us how to fix it if it went out again because he did not have the parts to repair this common spa problem either. It stopped working again within days.

Description of Work: Aqua Blue Pools Service and Repair run by Harold Taylor Moss replaced my pool tile and coping and repaired a leak where beam work was required. It's been seven months and the leak is back and the coping and tile are releasing so much calcium drips that it's impossible to keep up with. I've contacted him four times in the past month with him saying he will come check out the problem and "make it right". What seems to be occurring is his avoidance of me. He no longer answers the phone or returns my calls. I emailed the following this morning: Taylor,As per our conversation, you had agreed to come to my home and view the problems with the work your company did re-tiling, re-coping, and repairing the leak in my pool. You said you would be at my home Monday, May 16th. I have not heard from you and have no way of knowing if you have even come to look at my pool. As discussed, the leak your company Aqua Blue Pools “fixed” per our original agreement has begun to leak again. Additionally, the calcium drips on the tiles are far worse in the short period since you have completed the job on my pool than they ever were in the ten years prior to your company doing the tile and coping replacement work. I have been deferring my opinion to your expertise in hopes that you would come through and live up to your guarantee. I have been scrubbing these tiles to keep them free of calcium but to no avail. In spending the time laboring to remove the deposits I’ve noticed that most of the dripping appears to be coming out of the mortar seams in the coping where. I’ve since been perusing many friends’ pools to see if they experience the same phenomenon and I’ve not seen this same problem. In my non expert opinion, there is something wrong with the way the coping mortar was prepared and perhaps how the surface was prepped or the lack of any kind of prepping that has caused this to occur. My first impression of you was that you are a stand-up and truthful, family oriented guy. We like you and we put our trust in you. I hope my instincts were not wrong. I will be honest in telling you that I am worried that I may have been misled. I’m asking you again to come and look at my pool if you haven’t already. There is a problem. I would like you to make it right. Please do so promptly and in good faith.
