The repairs went very smoothly. Leon has excellent customer service and was very professional during the fix - he was patient and friendly (on a very hot day!) while he explained everything to me along the way.

Excellent! Called on Fri, scheduled for Sat. Found a problem with P trap not installed in line. They fixed drain line, cleaned line, cleaned evaporator coils. (of course, told me needed to clean filters more often, who doesn't?). Loved that they were not afraid of several 100 lb rescue doggies!

We called Apex around 7:15 or 7:30 pm when our AC went out. They had someone at our house around 9:15 pm. The man had outstanding customer service. It was late on a Friday night and never once did he seem upset that he was working late. He stayed until 11:00 pm to ensure everything was working properly before he left. We will definitely use Apex again.

The whole process was easy and the work was completed quickly to our satisfaction. Leon responded to my message quickly and a technician (Brett) was able to get out to us later that afternoon. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had the parts to fix the unit quickly. He was very professional and courteous, and happily explained everything step by step as he worked. Most importantly, he got our unit running again. I would use these guys again.

Exceptional! For some reason the service we purchased through Angie's List got lost in transit, but Leon immediately came out to help us. His work was great, he has a wonderful attitude and professional demeanor, and he offered us great advice and service. I would use Apex Air Solutions again in a heart beat!

the technician documented the entire process to ensure the ac system was running well. he made mention that there might be a leak on our system but we needed to get a well know base line to determine if this was just a mishap or something more severe. price was to be as expected, they came out same day even thou is was technically an after hours visit but his primary goal was to get our house cool again

Leon is very friendly and professional. He took my call late (after 10pm) the evening that the ac went out and was at the house the next afternoon to make repairs. Very happy with the service Leon provided and would highly recommend him over some of the larger service providers I have used for ac repair in the past.

Leon came out on the Sunday in the rain, and fixed and recharged my unit without drama and without high pressure sales tactics. I appreciated his work.

He is awesome. I've already recommended him to someone who then asked me to give her his information. He told me exactly what condition my a/c is in. He wasn't there too try to get me to pay for things I didn't need. It was so refreshing to deal with someone trustworthy. I was pleasantly surprised. He is my a/c guy from now on.

on May 14th we had a lightning strike that fried the AC, Furnace and Thermostat. After another AC company we contacted missed their appointment window we called Apex as recommended by another Angie's List company. They didn't make us wait and came out that very night to diagnose the situation and provide quotes. The next day they were out and began work. They were here all day for two days, it was a lot of work, but the project manager was professional, courteous, informed and they did a great job overall. I would use them again, although I hope I never have to.

I am just submitting this review because it keeps popping up asking for it every time I log in, despite the fact that I already reported the company to you and got a refund.

Apex just completed a full replacement of my HVAC system for me and I couldn't be happier. The team did such an outstanding job that even the City of Houston inspector was impressed. The inspector and my own observations are the attention to details/fit and finish are well above average. The job they did for me was a complete replacement including new duct work and new lines. Other things going for Apex are low cost and a professional, polite, quick crew. I have zero regrets.

I thought that they overcharged me. There was a crack in the hose and all they had to do was clip it and stick it back. They charged me $65 for that. I just thought that that was a little bit out of range. They charged me $55 for trip charge. They said that that was a discount because I was an Angie's List member. Then, they charged me $65 for the repair. They didn't put any parts on there. He was like, "Oh, that's our minimum fee."

It turned out good. He looked over my whole system and actually did have to put a pound of Freon in. So, that saved me money. He found an electrical contact on the unit outside that was marked out. He said, "That thing is going to be going out on you and it's going to cost you some service charge to come out and replace." So, he went ahead and replaced it while he was there. I thought he did good. I was pretty happy. I was satisfied.

He basically tried to sell me a new unit for an exorbitant amount, because he said was too dirty. When I asked what he would charge for to clean it, he said he would not recommend it anyway. He was very unprofessional, and his appearance was unkept and nasty. The charge was not worth it because I went ahead and called my neighbor and he recommended someone that came clean it and added freon for a minimal amount and it's been working great since then. I probably will be using him in the future.

It turned out pretty good. I will use them again.

Called the company direct and they made the appointment for the following morning. Manuel was our technician - he was very professional and a delightful person. Arrived when he said he would and just took care of making sure our furnaces are ready for winter. I will definitely use this company again as this was such a good experience. See you in the Spring for my air conditioners!

Apex Air Solutions installed a new A/C unit, and a gas furnace in my home. They were honest and professional. They did the whole project in about 4 hrs. Everything went well, and haven't had any problems yet.

Just recently we had big problems with our A/C. Another company came out and made an even bigger mess out of it. We had to force them to finish the job which took weeks instead of a couple days. Now, just a few months later, our AC was acting funky again. We found Apex Air on here and gave Leon Ortega a call. The guy was amazing. He drove all the way out to our house to check it out on a Friday evening after every other company was closed. He made it to us in 45 minutes! He checked our filters and our unit. He also gave us the rundown of the issues we are facing in the future (which include needing to rerun drainpipes). He was friendly, approachable, and professional. He really seemed knowledgeable about what he was doing. He didn't even charge us for the call out. We'll be calling him back very shortly to help us fix the mess that the other company left us with. I strongly recommend this Apex Air if you have an emergency issue with your AC.

Apex' prices were extremely competitive - hundreds of dollars under a competitor. Leon, the owner is very accessible and very pleasant to talk to. They came out on a call's notice and performed the work to my satisfaction. I plan to use Apex in the future as my A/C company. Honest and reasonable prices.

All of the vendor's service work in that regard was excellent, and the vendor arrived promptly. Contrary to your rating for the vendor of "A" in every category, however, the vendor's original price of $ 428 was excessive, and only after I complained to the firm a week later, did I obtain a reduction to the price cited above. Moreover, Apex was unprofessional in not first volunteering to tell me, after correctly diagnosing the problem, the price for the repair, and in thus failing to provide the opportunity for me to authorize the work before the company proceeded with it. I'd never asked beforehand for a price after the company had completed the diagnosis, though, but only because your service gave the firm the aforesaid "A" rating on price. Furthermore, Apex turned out, in hindsight, to be the most expensive of the four vendors whom I had considered. I'd selected the latter group of only four because out of the hundred or thereabout vendors within 25 miles or so of my home, they were the only ones who had many reviews(about 30 to 260, depending on the vendor), and who had "A" ratings in every category, with the exception of one, who had all "A's" except for one "B". Apex originally had charged $ 428, and the three others would have charged $ 300 to $ 310 each, depending on which vendor one considers. The repair consisted of replacing with a long-life American-made "dual-run" capacitor a cheap and unreliable Chinese-made "dual-run" component, original to the almost three-year-old Carrier 2.5 TON air-conditioning unit, on each of my two identical units(40 X 5 mfd specification on the capacitor). Prices for the service from all four vendors are as follows: 1) Apex Air Solutions LLC, which actually did the work - $ 378(waived $ 50 service call) - Apex spent about one hour in total at my home, and almost 1/2 hour on the repair for each of my two air-conditioning units (2) Hal Watson Air Conditioning Company - $ 310[includes $ 59 on service call, $ 84 for each capacitor, and $ 41 on labor for each capacitor, based on 1/2 hour labor for each capacitor, and so the repair time was comparable to Apex's. Hal Watson, by the way, is the only vendor with anything other than all "A's" on ratings, and in this instance, the vendor had all "A's" too, except for one "B" on price (3) All Star Air Conditioning & Heating Services - $ 300(would waive service call because I'm an Angie's List subscriber) (4) Yukon Mechanical - $ 300(would waive service call because I'm an Angie's list subscriber). However, Apex originally included the $ 50 service call cited above in their price, and thus charged $ 428. It was only after I contacted them shortly after they made the repair, that the company agreed to eliminate that portion of the charge. I indicated the following: After the repair, I had contacted the three other vendors cited above, and learned about their substantially lower prices. However, Apex justified its price by stating that unlike Apex, other vendors would have used unreliable replacement parts, even though I explained that the three other vendors quoted me on long-life, American-made capacitors just like Apex had used. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed with originally overpaying about $ 130, or almost 50 %, because of inaccurate information from your service. Note in that regard, moreover, that even with a "B" rating on price, Hal Watson would only have charged $ 310. And note that even with Apex's refund of $ 50, its price of $ 378 was $ 68 to $ 78 more than the three other vendors', or about 25 %, and I only obtained a reduction in price by complaining afterwards
