Very professional. Explained the details of the work to be done. Worked well into the evening. Had to return a few days later and did the same. Very good. Always had my best interest in mind. I wouldn't hesitate to use again.

My old AC was not cooling and the owner, Leon Ortega, came the day I called. We were leaving for Florida the next day so he did a quick fix so we could have air until we left. A new unit was needed and we planned the replacement two days after our return on the following Friday. We came back on Monday and the air was completely dead. I called Leon on Tuesday morning and although it was three days earlier than planned, he did some quick calls and moved his schedule around and we had a new unit that afternoon. He completed the paper work at nearly 8 PM. I cannot say enough good things about him and his crew. Very professional and friendly. They bent over backwards to help my family through a very uncomfortable time. The price was reasonable and even though it was unscheduled there was no extra charge. They worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves. I had a new heating unit installed last year by one of the large TV advertisers and I only wish that I had known about Apex at that time. Would I recommend Apex Solutions and Leon Ortega? Absolutely!

At approximately 7:00PM on a day when the temperature was 90 - 95 and humidity 77 - 85%, my A/C which had been operating fine up till then, quits. I get on Angies List go to search providers and don't notice that they still have me at an old address in North Houston (I live in Missouri City now), up comes Apex Air. I call and get the owner within a couple rings, we talk and when I give him the address, he says I'm a bit out of his usual service area (he's in Humble) he says he'll call someone he knows that lives closer to me. After we get off the phone, I change location on Angie and find a company much closer to where I live, call they say they will have the service guy call me. Meanwhile it's getting hotter in my house, I call Leon back and he says that he wasn't able to get ahold of his friend but that he'd be willing to come down and check/fix the problem, I ask him to come. A few moments later the other company's service guy calls and tells me that the soonest he could get to me would be tomorrow in the afternoon; I thank him and tell him another company is on the way. Leon arrives about an hour later, quickly checks the A/C unit, says he's fairly sure that the capacitor is the problem, changes it and YES, the A/C starts back up. He then (we've got lights but it's dark) asks for a hose to clean out the coils. He asks to come inside to check my filters and check the unit attached to the furnace in the attic. He gives some tips, we talk about upgrades, I thank him and he leaves. He was an absolute angel to come all the way down here from Humble, I certainly didn't relish the thought of trying to sleep in the heat and humidity. He was the consumate pro who knows his trade and is willing and able to go the extra yard, something that I've found lacking in many areas of customer service nowdays.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was great. I actually needed Freon and there was a part that was getting ready to go out and he suggested that I replace it right away to avoid further problems in the future. He walked me through everything. He was very nice. It took him a while to get to me because he was further away than most of his clients. He eventually came and it was very worth the extra money I paid for the Freon and part. The Freon was $70 a pound and I needed 2 1/2 pounds. He subtracted the Deal price of $49 from the part. I wasn't expecting the additional work but I'm glad I did it. He guaranteed it and said if I have any problems to call him and he will come and fix it. He educated me and he gave me a lot of pointers to care for the unit.

They guys were awesome. There was extra work to be done and he was in my attic for about 3 hours and I think he charged an extra $100 or so. That was good I would definitely use them again.

My experience overall went well. We ended getting an entire new unit. He did what he could do. He thought he had solve the problem but it was not solved.I thought the guy was professional and accommodating.

The only thing I saw him do was clean the unit. I'm not sure what the tune up was. He tried to upsell me on buying freon, but he couldn't tell me how much he would need until he did it. It was $70 a unit, so I said no.

Provider contacted me the same day (Friday) I bought deal from Angie's list. Got setup setup with appointment for following Wednesday. He showed up punctually and performed a thorough inspection and added freon to the system. He was very professional throughout the whole experience and would use him again and recommend for any A/C service.

Came to my house as promised. Unfortunately told us the bed news that our system has a leak somewhere. Charged 8 lbs of Freon in our AC system. Probably will require change of the condenser coils which will be very expensive. Not sure if we will actually do it or replace the whole system.

Leon checked out the system and told us we didnt have any major malfunctions with the air conditioner. He then gave us several steps we could take to increase the performance of our system and keeping it from malfunctioning. He never tried to upsell us, and most of the steps would be done by us or individual. From free to most expensive he advised we could: unblock the vents and use a different air filter. Install a compressor saver to ensure the compressor kicks on every time. Better attic ventilation with advice on what types of vents would be best, and finally upgrade the ductwork (he said ours wasnt terrible, but could be better). I felt like he was very honest and straightforward with his advice and recommendations. We started with the free steps and haven't had any problems since, I also think he was right on about the more expensive steps and we might start to address them in the future. Anyway, first class service, we were very pleased.

Leon was very punctual and very professional. He loves his job and you can tell. He found a leak and added some Freon which brought the cost up otherwise it would have been half the price for two AC check ups.

Leon called me and was very flexible about a time. He came out when he said he would and was very thorough in his work. He checked my returns, handler, and compressor. He gave me a few tips and did provide service (adding freon). Overall he did a fantastic job and I cannot recommend him enough.

.Even though it was a little after 6 pm, we called Leon in hopes we could get him to come out that evening. He agreed, and after he finished work at a current home he would be right over. He arrived promptly and we explained that the outside unit fan was not turning. He went straight to the unit and checked a few things and found the problem. That was fixed and the fan was now working. He did a temp check, checked freon, went up in the million degree attic and cleaned the coil. While up there he also gave us an estimate on some other A/C work we wanted to have done at some point. Leon was really nice. Knows what he is doing and isn't pushy trying to up-sale anything to you. He uses good parts to fix whats broke and doesn't do more than what is needed. If I need any A/C work done in the future I am going to use Leon at Apex. I am also planning on sending him to my daughters next week for some needed estimates and repairs.

Called Leon as soon as I bought the deal of the day. Got someone out that day and came back two days later to fix an issue with the duct work that two other companies had not been able to do. Finally my daughter room is cool!

Leon was on time & very through. very polite. A/C working fine. Did not push for more services. A/C cooling insp. & cleaned cond. Co.

Very professional from estimate to installation.

We moved into the house a few months prior and after a repair man worked on the satellite dish in the attic, the A/C suddenly did not work anymore. It was Friday evening 11PM when we tried to get a repair man for the air conditioner. Luis answered his cell phone immediately, was at our place in half an hour and able to fix the problem in 5 minutes. He then proceeded to check the whole A/C, inside, outside unit, to make absolutely sure everything was in excellent working condition. He was pleasant, efficient and when we asked how much the bill would be, fully expecting to hear an excessively high amount, he quoted us $50.--.. We almost fainted. Needless to say, Luis is THE A/C man for us.

We were very happy with the service provided. Leon was so friendly and personable that it almost felt like he was an old friend. We would definetly use him again if we need A/C services.

We called when the AC was broken....it was 93 in the house. He came quickly and charged it with Freon and replaced the broken part. It didn't take long, and he was very friendly.
