Lakeside floors never returned phone calls

The owner came and took the measurements and provided the estimate. We able to schedule the installation the following week. The installers were excellent.

Excellent, professional service. Also extremely price competitive. Owners were extremely knowledgeable and great to work with, would absolutely use them in the future.

When the owner came to provide an estimate, I asked that everything except my 3 bedrooms have new flooring. The installers arrived on time and moved my furniture so they could rip up carpeting and tile. When they were finished, they told me my slab was too wet and it would have to dry before they could install the new floor. Unfortunately, it was during the time when we were having the flooding. About a week went by with the installers still telling me I had to get my slab dry, and finally the owner came by to look. At that time he said that the floor was fine, and they could go ahead and install the plank. I discovered at that time that the owner had not measured the kitchen, so I was hit with an additional cost over what was first estimated, approximately $1,200.00. I admit that I didn't look at the invoice because I thought when I told him I wanted everything done except the 3 bedrooms, that he would have measured the kitchen. Since I had no floor, I didn't have too much of a choice regarding the additional amount. And unfortunately, I had to wait until I returned from vacation 10 days later to have them begin installing the floor. After I returned home, I had them return to start putting in the floor without me being at the home. When they finished the job, I came home from work that evening and looked at everything. The floor looked GREAT, but there were several minor things that needed to be done (but the floor looked GREAT). They were very professional and nice people to work with, but the additional cost added to my job really upset me. They agreed to let me make payments on the additional amount.

This is the second time we have used them for flooring and they did it right and very hard working crew.

The tile crew was very professional and prompt. Each day they would let us know when they would arrive the next day, and they were very punctual. They were meticulous with their work. They arrived, went right to work. Juan, who did the granite, was also very professional and prompt. He gave us two very helpful suggestions. One probably saved us damage and money in the future because he pointed out pipes under the sink which were broken and not connected correctly. He also gave advice about the kind of sink faucets which turned out to be the correct choice, and we are very happy with what he suggested. We had initially picked out something different which would not have looked as good nor been correct size-wise for the size sinks. The only "bump" in the process was that Juan had gone to the granite warehouse across town and put two slabs on hold for us to see and choose between. The man at the warehouse evidently didn't realize that the slabs were chosen because they were the size needed for the double vanity. He told us we could pick any slab on that row. We chose something other than what was on hold. Colleen from Lakeside Floors called and explained what happened ,and we had to go back the next day to choose again. Juan met us at the warehouse on a Saturday morning and made sure the slab we chose was the correct size. Colleen immediately apologized and gave a $50 credit to makeup for our 2nd trip across ( she volunteered, we did not ask for). Colleen and Kenny are both easy to work with and very communicative. Kenny came by to make sure all was going well during the tiling.We are very happy with the results of the bathroom remodel.

Lakeside Flooring was outstanding! In the store, it was evident that they knew their products well. They were able to save me lots of time and a possible mistake! They allowed me to take sample flooring home to look at it. But the most incredible thing they did was work within my time frame. We had just bought a house and wanted the flooring in before our furniture arrived. Immediately, they were on the phone checking with various people to make sure they could do it before accepting the job. I was told "yes" the job could be done in the time frame I requested and it was. They did a fantastic job! I never felt like they were rushing or cutting corners to get it done. I have gotten so many compliments on our beautiful flooring! And once again, so many things were happening at once for us, I called about rushing over to pay my full balance and was told "Relax. Why don't you wait until next week when it is more convenient for you?" Lakeside Flooring doesn't just care about your flooring needs, they care about the customer.

Quote was close except they used more float than estimated meaning the overall job cost a little more than quoted. Wood flooring is fantastic. Was not as impressed with the carpeting and although they installed what I picked out the quality was deceiving from the sample. Quality of work was great and I would use again.

They worked with me to provide my floor choice as close as possible to my budget. They were not the cheest of the three flooring companies I contacted, but I was most comfortable with them. The date of my install was set and they brought the wood to my house to acclimate as promised. The flooring crew arrived promptly and started working immediately. They took great care to move my minimal furniture as needed, and completed the demolition quickly. Demolition was finished by noon of the second day of the approximately 1000sq Ft job. Floors were laid over the next two days, and they cleaned well after themselves. I could not be happier and the experience was completely well worth it.

Everything went great. They came in scraped up old glue and carpet remnants, leveled floor, laid down vinyl sheet flooring, and installed thresholds for a smooth transition from vinyl to ceramic flooring.

Everything went great! I cannot say enough about the experience! I initially went shopping for laminate flooring, which we had in our previous home. When I walked into Lakeside Floors I was immediately greeted by both Kenny and Colleen, the owners. Colleen showed me the options they offered and explained how their pricing worked. Then she showed me the Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVT) flooring and gave me the pros and cons of both types of floors. I brought samples of both home and we were sold on the LVT. The installers were great! They moved all of the furniture with great care and made sure when they put it back that it went where I wanted it. It took 2 1/2 days to complete the work. The first day they took up all the old carpet and applied the float. The second day, the flooring was put down and on the third day, the trim was installed and the furniture was moved back. Our new floors have been down for over 2 weeks and they are beautiful. We are extremely happy with the floors and the experience!!

The entire process went very well. It all started with a phone call to discuss what they offer. I was impressed with their knowledge of flooring practices. Next was a visit to their store to meet the owners and select flooring. We made the deal within 2 weeks after getting several quotes. The installation was scheduled and conducted as planned. The most impressive aspect of the entire deal was the finished product. The floors were absolutely beautiful. Reasons to deal with Lakeside: 1. Honesty and integrity from the start (they did exactly what they said) 2. Excellent installation crew (respectful, flexible, hardworking) 3. Competitive pricing What to avoid: 1. Nothing, this company is trustworthy.

The reason why I didn’t go with them was because I thought they had to do the follow-up with me but I had to follow-up with them.

One the advice of the owner, I had vinyl tile plank installed. I have had one person ask me if it was hand scraped wood and another ask me if it cost $15,000. It looks that good. It looks so much better than laminate and is very durable. After a rocky start with initial delivery, things went well. The installers were nice guys and worked well together. They moved all my furniture and I moved all the small stuff.

Lakeside was terrific! They were friendly, patient and professional from beginning til end. Colleen and Kenny were very helpful in assisting us with the selection of the floors for our home and answered all our questions and concerns. They did not pressure us at all to buy. They took the time to explain the different flooring options and pricing and worked with us to stay within budget. The installation went smoothly as well. Derek and his associate did a great job installing our floors. They too were friendly, professional, and took the time to answer our questions. They installed the floors exactly how we wanted and even took the time to lay the quarter rounds around our fireplace. Thank you Lakeside for a job well done!

A really nice young man came out and measured.......... they never got back with me for the estimates for what we discussed. I went with another company.

Experience was great! They were always on time with no unexpected surprises.Workers on time and cleaned up daily when they left. It looks awesome! Yes I will use them for my next project.

Talking to the people at the store was great they were very helpful, friendly and just a great experience. The estimate was right on the money and on time for the appointment. Installation was professional and looks great.

They did a good job and I was happy with them. They were friendly and cooperative. The price seemed pretty good and they did the work when they said they would. The quality seems good as well. I would use them again if needed.

Tile crew was great! They were friendly, very hard working, professional, and did a wonderful job. Floor crew was very good as well. Would definitely recommend (and have) to friends. Some small miss-communications occurred between owners and crew, but owners were easy to reach and they promptly corrected small issues.

Excellent-couldn't have gone smoother from estimate to delivery of materials to installation to final visit to check work. Lakeside conducts their business with professionalism. Their installers are knowledgeable and experienced. Couldn't be more pleased with the work and the manner in which they handle the process.

Kenny and Colleen are both friendly and helpful. Their crew (subcontractors) are excellent and have a long track record working with Lakeside Floors. Anytime I had a question Colleen would get an answer for me immediately or shortly afterwards. I had lots of questions as the process moved forward, having never had this type of work done in my home before. I am particular and wanted to understand the process from start to finish and was reassured along the way by Colleen. She made herself available for discussion, changes and clarifications. Having other work to be done in my home by other contractors at the same time, I acted as my own designer and general contractor. Timing of installation and showing up when scheduled was important to make this project work well. Lakeside Flooring did a good job. Juan (granite fabricator) met me and my husband at the granite slab supplier and carefully reviewed each slab we thought looked good, pointing out the pros and cons of each slab and ultimately helping us select 3 slabs that same day. He has lots of experience and was able to help guide and direct us and at the same time honored our artistic choices. He and his crew worked diligently from start to finish the day of demo/installation and did a beautiful job. He is very proud of his work and it shows. Once the granite was installed I still did not have a backslash picked out due to the beautiful, but unusual color of the granite slabs. Colleen suggested two companies that I went to that had lots of displays to view and I found the perfect backsplash. Some of the product for the backsplash had to be flown in from CA, but they made it happen so the backsplash could be installed that Friday. Venturio (tile installer) worked until 8:30pm that Friday night and returned Monday morning to complete the backsplash and tile floor. He had a happy upbeat attitude as he worked late into the evening on the backsplash and did a great job. The crew that came in to do the laminate repair were also professional, friendly and thoughtful and did a really good job on removing and replacing some laminate flooring in my office that did not wear well under my office chair. I was impressed how quickly they moved furniture and laminate and reinstalled laminate that I had in storage. When you get to work directly with the owners of small businesses I think you get a better out come than working with big companies that don't necessarily go the extra mile to provide that needed personal service. Kenny and Colleen seem to enjoy what they do and it shows.

Lakeside recommended a qualified tile setter and asked him to come and help me. He did a fantastic job (even though it was the smallest job imaginable). Colleen with Lakeside was closing up shop when I called asking for help and even though as a company she did not have anyone available she followed through and made sure it was taken care of quickly by finding someone who would come and do the job.
