Zack's guys showed up on time and ready to go on the agreed upon date. The first day entailed tearing out all of the lost plants, digging a trench to place to bury a drainage line, and placing all of the new plants in approximate locations. All of the work was finished in the second day including plant replacement (and adding new plants to the landscape), redesign of the front and back spaces (including new Benda Board dividers and a new herb garden - a sweet boulder for the front), resodding the back area and several problem areas in the yard, applying a weed & feed treatment, and adding two buried drainage lines. Zack went through all the plans before and during the process to let me know what was going on - and did additional work that was not part of the original quote at no additional cost (including some assorted succulents and flowers that he thought would work well with the space). Along with the quote he provided a detailed diagram of plant placement - which we discussed and revised based on my needs (and my mom's feedback). I will definitely be using Zack in the future - and have already been recommending him to friends seeking landscaping work.

Zack was quick to meet me and discuss my needs. He took copious notes and asked good questions. A couple of days later, he sent me a full quote for services and his team was scheduled to promptly take care of the yard. They worked efficiently and the yard looks outstanding! I will definitely hire them again.

Zack and his crew were amazing. Zack is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and his crew worked extremely hard. They went beyond anything I could have imagined. They are perfectionist and it shows in their work. I went from the ugliest yard on the block to the prettiest thanks to Zach and his team. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a beautiful yard.

Zack rapidly responded to my request and arrived promptly to review my needs and survey the landscape. He took copious notes and asked detailed questions. His crew could start immediately and they were done mid-way through day 2 even with rains each day. My yard looks amazing and he cleared away all the debris efficiently. He also checked in with me to make sure I was satisfied before finishing up. I cannot recommend him highly enough! He was incredibly communicative too, which is such a bonus.

I purchased a house that had been uninhabited for a year and was severely overgrown. Zack responded quickly to my request for a quote, walked the property with me, and gave me details about what plants were there and offering suggestions on how to achieve the best results. His price was very fair. The crew arrived on time and did great work. It looks like a whole new house! I could not be more pleased! I will definitely be calling on Zack again in the future.

Zack was very professional. His crew came out and basically took my yard down to a blank canvas. Did a complete reboot worry the front. In the back, they gave me an extra 6 feet of patio- there had been that much overgrown plants and vegetation. My back yard is inviting now. Zack and his crew were here when he said they would be, they put in 2 full days of work, and they cleaned up all debris. I couldn't be happier with the results. Next step- we are going to come up with a plan to implement over several months. I will definitely call Zack back in to help me design the landscaping.

Zack was an absolute pleasure to work with. He gave me some great advice and helped me develop a plan to refresh the existing landscape, while we plan for an outside wedding in a couple of weeks. Everything blends nicely and the yard looks great! My favorite part is a cable trellis with star jasmine that will grow on the side of the garage! We'll be seeing them again, highly recommend!

I can't really say enough things about how pleasant our experience was with Zack and his crew. We had multiple quotes and his was in line with others, but we choose him because of superior customer service from the start. He was great and providing his professional input, but was very receptive to our feedback and preferences. We were thrilled with the end product. His design and implementation changed the entire look of our house. He even came in under budget! If you want and excellent job done the right way, I highly recommend Zack.

We were very happy with the results at both houses. Zack consulted with us at length, and helped problem solve some of our unique problems. (We love our dogs, but having a doggie door and free run of the yard is h****** the yard). We ended up, with a mix of gravel, and mulch and a lot of repaired landscaped timbers, cleaning up and replacing a lot of older landscaping at the new house. The sod at the old house was perfect. Zack and his crew have an impressive attention to detail. Everything was done right. The improvement at both houses was incredible. Now, that attention to detail and quality of work takes time, and time, of course is money. That said, you get what you pay for. Zack promised quality work and delivered. I would gladly recommend Zack and his company.

Contacted this Vendor on 3.31 regarding a job through Angie's List and never got a response.

Zack came out to my home, we discussed what I was trying to do. (As I was trying to do this project on my own!) He took some measurements and sent me an estimate and was able to start immediately - we were on a bit of a deadline. Even with Mother Nature making it difficult to work, Zack was able to complete the job in time. Zack and his crew would leave the job site clean every day and were punctual. Which being in a condo was very important! I am super happy and can't wait to entertain on the new hardscaped patio!!

First contact was fast, clear and efficient. The provider asked the good questions first before throwing a number but gave a number very quickly which was clearly supported by straightforward explanations. Responsive, clear and transparent. Communicated very well the day of the install for timing adjustments due to weather. Did the job as planned and well. Zack is very easy to deal with, very clear, very professional, yet nice. It is a no brainer: Next time I need landscaping services, I'll go directly to him.

Zach responded to my phone call right away and was easy to reach via text. I ended up using someone else because they were closer to my neighborhood and able to offer ongoing maintenance, but Zach's professionalism and level of service is evident in the way he dealt with me. Definitely will consider for future projects, especially if my local company isn't great.

I replied the next day (2/4/2015) to contractor request for a time on the date requested and provided my address. I never heard from the contractor again.

Don't bother calling, they don't even respond... hope they never need new business, as they made a very poor impression.

Zack and his crew did a great job, yard looks much better than before. The cleanup went well, he did what he said he would do, they took all the brush and branches away. Job was done quickly and efficiently and his price estimate was accurate and fair. We also use Zack for our regular lawn service and they do a very good job and are very reliable.

Zack was very "hands on" and on the scene often while juggling other projects. He was more than patient as we changed a couple of things on the fly. My wife and I can't say enough good things about the work done by Juan and Pedro. They obviously take pride in what they create and it shows. In summary, Zack and his crew are a honest, hard working bunch that aim to please. In our case we couldn't be more pleased especially my wife. And, as Zack would say "a happy wife is a happy life".

Extremely pleased after several years of living with the landscaped front and back yard. We routinely use Zack for our weekly maintenance. He is always punctual and responsive.

I contacted Zack through email, indicating what I was looking for - after seeing the reviews, I thought it would work out - apparently he's 100% booked right now. I wish i would have received a referral from him.

Planted shrubbery, moved and replanted a Sego Palm, planted 10 Japanese Yews,6 Loropetalum, 6 Japanese Boxwood. Upgraded a paver walkway. Put in ground cover, Butterfly Irises and Foxtail ferns. Built a Brazos Rock drain along the driveway with a stone border. Planted a new Blanchard Magnolia about 9 ft tall. The main objective was to create a natural barrier between our house and the house next door that's been vacant and neglected for 20+years. We were considering paying a landscape architect and then hiring someone to do the job. Zack saved us that expense by designing it all for us. He spent a lot of time listening to our ideas about what we wanted to achieve and then put together a design...no architect required! He has a veteran crew that's been with him 8-10 years, they know exactly what to do and they pay attention to the details as they go. They showed up early on Monday and wrapped it up at about 6 P.M. on Tuesday. Zack was on the job with them both days. Zack has over 20 years in landscaping. He started working at Teas Nursery when he was 14, and eventually started his own Landscaping business. You can tell that he has a passion for his work!

Zack told me which plants died during the winter and which ones would survive and could be pruned. We saved a lot of plants and $$. He communicated every day, started the job on time that week, and worked overtime to make sure it was done right (took 2 days not 1 1/2 days). Zack also fixed a problem with my landscape lighting that happended the same week. We assumed a wire was cut when digging but the wire had shorted out. It was just a coincidence and not their fault. He repaired it anyway. High integrity guy who went the extra mile for us. My wife is very pleased!

Zack and his crew arrived approximately 9:00am (as scheduled) and got right to work. All flowerbeds (front yard and backyard) were cleaned. (There was heavy dead limbs/leaves because of previous freezing weather) All beds were cleaned thoroughly. Crepe myrtles, rose bush and many bougainvillea bushes were trimmed and cleaned up (stickers and all). New mulch was added. All debris was removed and total yard clean-up was done. The crew was here all day working (until about 5:00pm) The yard looks excellent. I am very happy with this landscaping service and highly recommend Zack's Landscaping services to anyone!!

The project went well. I took two bids, and Zack was about 1/4 of the second bid, for what I viewed to be the same service. I referred Zack to my daughter, and he now performs regular lawn service for her.
