I hired them to do an energy audit of my home because our electric bill was fluctuating by hundreds of dollars a month. Jorge came by and was SO thorough, he found our issue and did some additional inspections around the house which was super appreciated. Was not worth the trouble. If we were just talking about the energy audit, it would be 4-5 stars; they were thorough and provided some good advice. However, the number of unprofessional consequences made the experience not worth it. There are inside/outside aspects of the service. The tech tracked mud all through the house. Likely coincidence, but the tech reported on the weak compressor of our refrigerator, and it went out the next day. BUT a couple days later, we notice a leak in the ceiling which was a result of the tech breaking a drain pipe in the attic. Thankfully, Y Energy took care of the damage, so it only costs me the trouble and having his workers at my house for 6 hours on a Saturday. But the straw that broke the camels back for me was when I finally figure out the reason why my doorbell stopped working was because his technician disconnected the wiring from the transformer in the attic (it is next to one AC unit). That cost me an hour of trouble shooting the doorbell before

The representative from Y Energy Solution arrived an hour after the agreed appointment time and I had to reschedule. He arrived on time to the rescheduled appointment and completed the home energy audit. They were very courteous and their office support is excellent.

George was great. Explained the issues and laid out a plan that included repairing duct work, replacing wet insulation, and fixing seals that were causing air leakage. He also had someone come when they were done to vacuum and clean up. They vacuumed my entire house. Very friendly and a fair price.

I called Y Energy for an energy audit after receiving a $414 electric bill. Jorge did a great job and discovered that my AC ducts in the attic were detached. He fixed them promptly and at a good price. He even went over my electric bill and pointed out that I was paying too much per kWh. So I researched all the other electric company plans and switched to a much better plan.

Best cost vs benefit I can think of. Explained my specific issues. Was able to rectify and knock down my energy usage substantially.

Jorge has an extensive background in several energy services. I looked everywhere for someone to do an energy audit because my energy usage spiked in the past year. I could not find a skilled company to even speak with. Jorge did the energy audit at a price below national average and explained every step of the way what he was evaluating and why. He climbed into small spaces, walked the entire house, and worked outside in the 100 degree weather. He was super friendly, knowledgeable and even offered several solutions. There was zero pushy sales and he listened carefully to my questions and provided answers. Stand up guy and great company.

Good and affordable energy audit inspection. Helped answer and confirm some question I had regarding insulation and solar screens. Also helped to find and point out an air leak from some ducts attached to the air handler in the attic which enabled me to contact my HVAC repair person to come and seal them properly. Without this inspection I probably wouldn't have determined whether or not there is a leak in the particular area.

I save money on my energy bill. My house also feels safer, stronger, soundproof, and cleaner. It is really awesome, my house used to be cold. I save energy it is warmer in the cold, and cooler in the heat. You have to try it. You save a lot on your energy bill.
