Window World of Houston

The rep was on time and was nice. That is about all of the positive things that I can say. The whole time, I felt that it was a scripted corporate sales call. I was not impressed with the quality of the windows, and there were a lot of reasons (excuses) that they do things their way. Unless you want the basic window "their way" they are not really any cheaper than the other guys that came out to quote us, and they were by far the worst quality of window. The $200 window does not exist in Texas. They tried to upsell us on a package that was 70-80 additional dollars PER WINDOW, and then nickle and dime you to death to "cover costs" No one else charged extra for windstorm inspection or removal of old windows. I assume that when you pay for installation of replacement windows, that those things are included in the price! Bottom line - look elsewhere for windows in the Houston Area!

They are pretty well known here in Houston. The product is very good and of good quality. The people who came were polite and professional. They cleaned up after themselves. There are no dislikes at this point and I will have them come again.

The Window World crew arrived on time, they removed all the old windows put in the new windows and corked them. They clean up all debris and removed it. The only problem was one window was broken and one window was built wrong from the factory. They had to reorder the two windows. They have been a little slow following up with replacement of the two windows.

The installers called ahead of time. They were very prompt. They neatly took out the old windows. They took the time to carefully put in the new windows. They showed us how to work all the features of the windows. The whole process, from talking to the salesman (John), to ordering, to setting up the installation, to the actual installation was very positive. I recommend them highly.

Joel Ludwig was great, he answered all my questions. He came out and showed me samples of what I was buying. He took the time to explain everything. He had the financing I was looking for i.e. ( 12 months no interest). The installation guys were fast and they cleaned up their mess. They showed up on time and nothing was out of place. Fantastic job. I have given Joel's number to several of my friends. My power bill reflects the installation of the new windows already. if I have to buy new windows again I'll call Window World !!!!! The advertised $189.00 per installed window is not true. They give you the in Texas you are required to have this specific window speech and the windows actually cost a lot more. So far the windows have been great as far as quality. They showed up on time and the installation took about 3 hours. I was surprised that the salesmen came by after they were finished to check on the installation. Overall a good experience.

Had Window World come and give presentation and cost. We chose to go with another company. The salesperson was personable and knowledgeable about his product.

Great. Talked to salesman and they beat the other prices I was getting. Salesman took measurements. After a few weeks, windows were installed in a 1/2 day and mess cleaned up.

Window World of Houston was very responsive, answered all questions, returned phone calls promptly, called to set appointments, arrived punctually. Installers were professional, very competent, polite, and very pleasant to deal with. Installation and clean-up were superb. My only negative comment is that Window World of Houston did not inform me about the interest free installment plan offered until I asked about payment options.

The sales rep, Preston Stephens walked me through the product selection and provided a competitive quote. The windows arrived on-time and were installed on the requested date. The demolition of the old windows and the intallation of the new windows took about six hours. The crew did a good job of keeping the mess to a minimum, and cleaned up well afterwards. The crew foreman, Jorge Romero, kept me informed of their progress and was on-site the entire time. He walked me through the operation of the new windows, and answered all of my questions about future maintenance.

It was not a good experience. Installers do a great job, everything was well done and cleaned up but the rest of the company is horrible. And do not even mention the "Home of the $189.00 Window".

I wasn't real happy with their customer service. They came out with a broken window, which should have never happened. Plus, we told them we did not want to use subcontractors and they sent out the most awful looking crew of people to put my windows in. I refused to let them in my house; that's how bad they looked. So that was another delay. It took another couple weeks to get real Window World people to come out and put my windows. And then one of them came broken. It should have never gotten on the truck broken. I just thought they did a half-ass job. I like the windows. I don't have any problem with the installation once they got them in, but it was all the peripherals around it and the people. The quality control was not there.

They were prompt, courteous and efficient. They did a great job. Took care to control and clean up old glass and were completely finished within 2 hours. The new windows were installed and sealed perfectly. I couldn't be happier. I might add that the salesman who came initially to give an estimate was also prompt and very knowledgeable.

The whole thing went very well. They got the job done in half a day which actually should have taken a day or day and half. They had a crew of three people out here. I was very satisfied and very well done. The windows were very nice. Their effort and efficiency was nice. Their price was cheaper than others and was the lowest of any other window installers of the same quality windows. There was another company who came out and gave an estimate of $15000 but I found out that it was the same quality of Window World. I found Window World through Angie’s List. I used them because they were highly rated on Angie’s List by other customers.

Excellent- I met with the sales rep Joel in my home in February and said what I had in mind. He was knowledgeable and gave me the estimate along with the details of how it would all flow. Ordered windows on 3/16/20 with 50% deposit, balance due on completion of install. Got a call about 3 weeks later had to change design of one bath room window due to factory limitiation, no big deal no extra charge. Got a call last week, that windows were ready to install, set install date of 4/20/12 Installer Scott called 4/20 first thing in the morning, arrived exactly on time with a helper, had all windows removed before noon. Installed new windows, caulked, cleaned up before 3 pm when rainstorm started. All done professionally, on time and no surprises, windows are of excellent quality, hope to see some savings on utilities this summer

A representative came out from WW upon my request for a consultation and estimate. I was shocked at the quality of window he was offering for the price. I had three other companies come out to give estimates and WW was by far the best priced for equal or better window quality than the other contractors were proposing. Basically, I was able to get 16 windows from WW, while the other contractors would have only been able to provide me with 10 windows for the same price. The sales rep for WW was very knowledgeable, but not pushy. He twice came out to demonstrate the windows for me and my husband so we were very comfortable with the product. The sales rep was easy to work with. And, things went as he said they would: one house visit for measurments, then 3-4 weeks for the windows to be custom made and delivered, and then one day for installation. All expectations were met. The team did a very nice job on the installation and we are very pleased.

We compared several prices and theirs was the best one. Window World was great. They got in here and got the job done. They did not leave a mess.

We had to get home owners’ association approval before we could get the windows actually measured. He did that last Friday. I don’t think anyone can beat their price. They were 40% cheaper than another company. It was for the exact same windows. These windows are all energy certified windows by the state of Texas. The do nothing but windows and that is they are so much cheaper.

After soliciting multiple estimates to replace the windows on our 40 year old house, we decided to go with Window World. The salesman was prompt, knowledgeable, and made recommendations that added to the aesthetic of our house and saved us money at the same time. His estimate was nearly $2000 less than the next lowest estimate we received. Window World called quickly to set up the installation and were very accommodating in meeting our request for a Saturday. They also called the day before to verify the appointment. On the day of the installation, the installer and his helper called to let us know they were on the way and then arrived promptly. They laid down drop cloths both inside and outside and removed the original windows. Once the installation was complete, they did a good job cleaning up and then walked us through the whole house to inspect. He also showed me how to operate the windows for cleaning from the inside. Our house has a "smart" electric meter and we receive a weekly statement from Reliant Energy showing our electricity usage compared to the previous week. We could tell instantly that the windows were working when we looked at a day-by-day comparison to the week before the windows were installed! Woohoo! I was referred to Window World by a friend of my mom's - they sent her a check for $50 and now the two of them are going out for dinner to celebrate my new windows. Don't forget to tell them who referred you or to make sure you receive your Angie's List discount.

The salesman was very professional and kind. They were very competitive on price. I am considering using them for my window replacements.

Great looking windows at an affordable price!

I was unhappy with them. They didn’t give all the information that I was supposed to have for my rebate. I’ll have to go back to them for that. One of the workers tried to get the new project back. I would not use them again in the future.
