Window Genie

I had called for an estimate. The individual came out and gave a written estimate informing me of the process and cost. He was very polite, on time, and professional. I accepted the estimate but because of my schedule, I couldn't start for about two weeks from the time of the estimate. The workers actually arrived about five minutes early, introduced themselves and went through the house to see exactly what I wanted done. They went straight to work and completed the task within the timeframe I had been given.They were neat, polite, friendly, and professional. They checked with me before they left to see if things were satisfactory. I was pleased with everything.

The work: The windows were very dirty and crew was inconsistent in cleaning them - streaks and areas that still needed a good scrub. They missed one window completely. I asked them to return to take another look. They did, but were not willing to scrape remaining paint, offered several excuses and completed the job as C quality work. For the price, I expected A service and did not receive it. Schedule: The crew arrived 2 hours later than planned and rushed through the job at the end of the day. The salesman said it would take 2 hours at least, and they were at the house less than 1 hour. .

Window Genie showed up right on time. They did an excellent job including taking care of a couple of special requests. We have used them several times in the past and will continue so in the future.

Mike and Chris arrived on time and did an outstanding job. Mike worked inside, being very careful to move furniture and drapes as needed. Chris worked outside, cleaning solar screens first and then removing them to dry before moving on to scrubbing windows sparkling clean. Their filtration system works!! Our windows have never looked this good. Chris and Mike were so polite and just a pleasure to have in our home. We will be repeat customers. Thanks Ernie.

They're very professional and they did a wonderful job. For all the windows they cleaned in our house it was a wonderful value.They're one of the best service providers I have had to our house. I don't have a negative thing to say about them.

I got them from Angie's List. It was great. They were very courteous, professional and easy to work with.

They did an excellent job of cleaning inside and out. Though there was a miscommunication between staff of the time arrival to do the job, but the cleaning technician did apologize for the miscommunication between them resulting in him showing up late. However, they did an excellent job and the detail attention they paid for each window, i have no complaint, they even clean the screen, it was part of the window cleaning price. I will definitely use them again. Thank you Window Genie.

Perfectly. I had no trouble setting up an appointment. Ron and Nathan arrived right on time, finished the job safely and promptly, and explained to me that there was one area where the windows might not get prefectly clean due to scale from the swimming pool. I feel that the price was appropriate but I did not conduct an extensive bidding so I did not rate the price category on Angie's list.

Since the windows face directly west (about 7 hours full sun) with no shade producing trees or other objects, the heat and glare necessitated putting room darkening draperies and shades on those windows. This was not a good solution since, albeit they reduced the glare and, to some extent, the heat, it made us feel like we were in a cave. The product used by Mr. Williams (the owner) I knew to be of the best grade since I had done my research. While the film has one of the highest UV, heat, and glare blocking ratings, it is virtually invisible both inside and out, night or day. The work was very neat, the premises left as clean as before (actually cleaner!), the installer was highly professional, informative, and his work was done timely and with precision. He was also most friendly, polite, and explained each step of the process, as well as the "after-care" (of which there really is none, except being careful during the final "curing" period (about two weeks). The estimate was exact, without any "add-ons" or additional charges. I could not be more pleased with the service, professionalism, and cordiality of the people involved, to say nothing of the final product which is outstanding. This was my first experience with Angie's List. In the future, no project will commence without consulting Angie's List first.

We've used Window Genie for pressure washing and window clearning for a number of years. The experience is always good from the initial phone call to schedule through to their arrival on or slightly ahead of the scheduled time and to the finished product. We occasionally have a very difficult stain to remove from our stucco and this last week was one of those times. We did a full house pressure wash and then they had to do a manual scrub to remove a stubborn rust stain. The results were excellent and we not only recommend them but will have them back to wash all the windows in a few months!

The service went very well. The 2-man crew arrived early, counted the windows and confirmed the price. It took them about 2 - 2.5 hours to complete the job. They were very courteous and thorough. They removed all screens and wiped them down before replacing them. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

They did exactly what I wanted them to do. I will definitely have them again.

They were very courteous and the widows were fairly clean, but they did not check the gutters and had to come back after a storm and do them again. The gutter in the front was flowing for a short time after they came back out. After last big rain the gutter is still not flowing water at the bottom. Update: I guess a company can not fix a problem if they don't know about it. After reading my review we got a call that they would like to come out and look at the gutters again. They inspected the gutter again and informed us that it is not blocked as we thought. It is still coming over the side for some reason. We will have to get a gutter company out to look at it. Apologies to Window Genie for not calling them back and informing them there was still a problem.

They were really good. They were on time, fast and did a good job. I would use them again.

A few complications but they handled everything extremely well. As always, the window cleaning was done very well. This is the third time I've used Window Genie. The complication was that one of the workers slipped off the ladder, fell a few feet, and although he thankfully didn't hurt himself the fall broke some PVC piping to my water conditioner. Ernie, the owner handled it very professionally. He first tried to fix the piping that day himself. When this didn't work out well (he's a window cleaner not a plumber) he hired a plumber to do the repairs that could be done that evening. He even stayed until late that evening to make sure I was satisfied with the plumbers work and he paid the plumber directly. However, the fall also cracked the water conditioner pre-filter so Ernie also call the water conditioner vendor who originally installed the unit and arranged for them to come to the house and install a new filter, followed up with them to make sure the work was done and then called me to make sure I was OK with their work. While I know having to deal with all these problems are very rare for Window Genie they handled everything professionally and went to great lengths to make sure my family and I were inconvenienced as little as possible.

They were very good. They forgot to clean something. I was not at home and when I came home, I gave them a call and they came back and cleaned it. They were very polite and very friendly. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.

Superb service! I called two weeks prior to the date I needed service. Monette was extremely helpful in explaining how the pricing worked, what services they provided, etc. She was able to commit to the date I needed and was very pleasant to deal with. The morning of the scheduled job, I called to verify the time so I was sure to be ready and Monique was there, bright and early and confirmed who would be coming to my house and the time. The crew arrived exactly as scheduled, introduced themselves, and (important) appeared right off the bat to know what they were doing. They meticulously cleaned each window, and scrubbed each screen. These windows were WAY overdue for cleaning, and Kenny and Robert did an excellent job. They also told me there is a discount for frequent cleaning, so I now anticipate doing this quarterly. They also cleaned the sills, which were very dirty and this really helped. All in all a very good experience and I highly recommend them; very professional.

Arrived on time. Mr Williams and his colleague just got on with the job quickly and efficiently. Windows were clean and sparkling when they were finished. Changed my smoke alarm battery while cleaning my top windows in sitting room, that was very helpful for me as it is a very high ceiling. Will definately use again.

They were very courteous and professional, both when setting up the appointment and when actually doing the work. The windows looked great - my real estate agent even asked me for the name of the company that had done the work. They were less successful on the stain in the concrete - I think it was some kind of mineral that had leached out of rocks from a planter. It would have been nice for them to call me to explain what my options were to remove the stain, since the pressure washing hadn't worked.

They responded promptly to my RFP. The work was done on the date scheduled by a very courteous gentleman. I am very satisfied and will use WindowGenie again next year.

A nice experience - I'd have him back in a heartbeat.
