All went well

It was great! I am so very pleased with my new roof and Whitmans Contracting and Roofing. Everything went well from my first meeting with the Whitmans all the way through completion and the amazing clean-up. Peter and Faith Whitman and their entire crew did a great job. I had estimates from several other contractors. I'm happy I chose Whitmans. They are very knowledgeable, professional, helpful, and friendly. The quality of their work is excellent, and their prices are competitive. Getting a new roof is a big deal, but they made it easy for me. They have done many roofs in my neighborhood, and came highly recommended to me. Should I ever need any work done in the future, I would not hesitate to call them again. They would be my first and only call.

This company put in a whole house roof next door to me last week. The team did an incredible job next door to me. I could not believe that they did an entire house in a single day, and they even had leftover manpower out there with the company owners supervising the job and three extra men "floating" and helping out where needed. I was extremely happy to have them attend to a few problems on my roof. The rain lately has been insane, making it critical to keep my roof in good shape and I have not been able to get other roofers out to help me. Some people simply don't answer the phone, others don't call back, others talk a few calls but never make it out to attend to my problems. This company solved my problems 100% and gave me the confidence that not only do they know what they are doing but also aspire to do the job right and to be courteous while doing it. I give them a 100%. Disclaimer: The company offered me a $35 gift card in return for posting two online reviews to help them get the word out about their excellent service. However the opinions, effusive tone and all, or strictly my own. I can use a $35 gift card, but I really was enthusiastic about the service I saw and got.

Roof was replaced with high quality material, job was done very satisfactory on time and at the agreed on price. The fence was don in the same time as well as the interior painting.

Peter came to visit us prior to roof job and let us know what to expect. He also sent a check sheet for us to make sure we were ready for them to start. The large crew showed up the day of installation and were finished by the end of the day. Peter came to our house after that and made sure no nails had been left behind in the grass and flower beds. Our roof looks wonderful and we would recommend him to anyone who needed roof work done.

The contractor communicated very well with us. Once the approval from our HOA was cleared, the contractor pulled the permit from the city and was very clear on the timeline of the project. Peter ran his crew very efficiently and completed the project faster than quoted for the exact price quoted. Peter and the crew were very polite to my family. The only problem we ran into was in expediting the roofing project, the surrounding landscaping more of a beating that we would have thought. Most of our plants were fine at the end of the day but some were squashed in the process. Fortunately, they are hearty and will grow back.

I met Pete while he was completing another roof in my neighborhood. His attitude was pleasant and I noticed he was very involved with his crew. I informed him of what I was trying to do and he agreed to come to my home to a**** the roof and see what he could do. A few days later Pete came by home, assessed the roof. All I needed to pay was my deductible. The price was the best I have received over several quotes prior. We agreed on a day and Pete with his crew came in and completed the job in one day. The quality of the materials are excellent and Pete with his crew were true professionals throughout. My neighbors saw my roof and inquired about getting theirs done so I directed them to Whitmans Contracting and Roofing.

Pete arrived on time which showed that he valued both my business and my time. His crews were very knowledgeable and they arrived at the designated time. They patched a number of spots on the entire roof. When we experienced another leak, they replaced an entire ridge vent under warranty as they warrantied the roof against all leaks for one year. All in all, it was a pleasure to work with Whitman and have recommended them to coworkers looking for quality and reasonable prices.

It went very well! Peter had to get an extra tall ladder to get on the roof of my three-story town home. It's been a year and a half, I haven't had another leak despite all the rain we've had.

From the very first time we met the owner, Peter Whitman, we were practically sold on using his company. He spent a great deal of time with us at the beginning to explain the various types of shingles and the differences. We were interested in finding a better quality shingle so that hopefully, we wouldn't have to replace our roof again. With Peter's guidance, we felt extremely confident that our selection was exactly what we were looking for. We also discussed wanting to remove the existing gutters since they were old and not performing the way they should. Once again, Peter also took the lead with coordinating a crew to install our new gutters at the same time our roof was being installed. Both jobs were seamless and we had no worries with either project because Peter is very conscientious and meticulous, and this gave us complete peace of mind. Once we had a scheduled start date, the crew was at our house right on time. I say this because our experience has been that with most contractors, crews are notorious for not showing up on time and on schedule. The work was not only outstanding, but to our surprise, the entire project was completed sooner than we had expected. Peter was on the job most of the time, and after completion, he inspected the work to make sure everything was perfect. After a day or two, once again, Peter came over to ask if we were satisfied and that if we had any problems, questions, etc., be sure to call him and he would take care of the matter immediately. But of course, we had absolutely no complaints and we couldn't be more pleased. The crew was careful to keep our property clean as possible while working and there was no damage to our freshly painted house or landscaped yard. I want to mention something else. Peter is very honest and goes above and beyond the average contractor. At the time they installed the new roof, we were using DISH Network. 6 months later, we wanted the DISH removed from our roof since we switched to another service that didn't require anything on our roof. Peter had assured us that whenever we decided to remove the DISH, he would be more than happy to come back out to dismantle it and replace the section with new shingles! Now, that in itself proves that this guy is a person of his word and genuinely takes care of his customers even after the original job is complete.

Whitman's crews were on-time and preformed their work flawlessly. I would recommend Whitman's Roofing to anyone....anytime. Best contractor I've dealt with in years.

The roofers came around 7 in the morning and worked non stop till about 6:30. They took plenty of pictures to show that I had some damaged wood but luckily they had extra ply wood so they fixed the areas for free
