Where do I even begin - a more unprofessional, uncaring, and careless organization, I have not dealt with in a long, long time. I had a major move (more than 6,000 sq ft house) to Texas and the job of reviewing and repairing damaged items incurred on the move was assigned to Weathersby. I have moved many times before and have dealt with furniture/personal property repair organizations and have had positive experiences. This move had an inordinate amount of damage, much to very dear, personal items, and it was extremely important to us to work with a competent company with the expertise to handle the necessary repairs. We submitted multiple pages of items on our claims sheet and the job was assigned to Weathersby by our moving company. Given the sheer number of furniture and art work/frame items in particular, it should have been obvious upon a review of the list that substantial time would be required to go through the items to review and assess them. My first correspondence with Weathersby (via email with their owner Scott Jones) was when they tried to insist they could inspect all the items in a 1 hour period notwithstanding that my wife told them this was unlikely and that mornings did not work for her. I had to get involved for them to change the appointment to the afternoon and, in fact, the detailed assessment with photos, took well over two hours. After that we heard radio silence and simply a one line email from Scott Jones at Weathersby asking if we could schedule a date for "the repairs." We asked what they were going to repair and received a vague answer from Mr. Jones that "the team would discuss" this with us when they arrived. For a massive job, Weathersby sent one individual who, upon walking into my house, the first thing he did was look at my wife and I and ask, "So, what are we repairing?" More than two hour inspection, detailed photos of every item, detailed lists, and correspondence, and Scott Jones (the owner himself) saying the repair guy would go over everything) and the guy shows up having no idea what he is there to fix. When I pull out the list he acts shocked and said this should be an all day affair and he wasn' t told anything about it and that he would have to leave and tell the owner and have the visit rescheduled. But, get this, before he left, he took two pieces of artwork the glass frames of which had been completely destroyed in the move, and said he would take them to a glass store and have them replaced. .Thereafter ensued multiple correspondence with the moving company and with Weathersby, where I was assured that it was a complete misunderstanding. We agreed a list of items on which repairs should be attempted - mostly wood furniture damage and frames (many also made of wood), which all should have been readily repairable. Silence ensued for a period, and then Mr. Jones of Weathersby reached out again in a brief email asking if they could come on a Saturday (which is what we discussed to get a full day of repairs in) at 10am. We agreed and I asked that they make sure to bring the two pictures back that were taken with them and was told they would by Mr. Jones The appointed Saturday arrived with no sign of the team and with no phone call from anyone. Calling the office number we received only a recording. Both my wife and I e-mailing Scott Jones brought no reply. Over an hour late, a team shows up. They walk in the door and we stand ready with our lists to take them around and they say, oh, we were only given a list of 5 items to repair and that's all we are allowed to do. My wife and I were, of course, beyond flabbergasted and showed them the email lists and other items of which they said they could easily repair but were not told to do so and therefore could not. I noticed the one gentleman on the phone and I said is that Scott Jones and he said it was, and I said I'd like to talk to him. He said he would let me talk to him and then disappeared. I came back 10 minutes later and they are in our bedroom trying to work on a table and I asked them what they were doing and why hadn't I talked to the owner. They said that I could call him and I said I'd been calling the business all morning to no answer; guy says, well that's funny, I've been calling him on that number all morning. So I go and try to call a couple more times and the lead guy goes out and rings him right up - he obviously was deliberately screening the calls and refused to answer them when my wife and I called. When the lead guy came back in the house, I said is Scott still on the phone and he said I don't understand it but he's refusing to talk to you. Mind you, during the whole process I never had ever spoken to him live - we just had his one line, vague emails to refer to. So, a complete failure and the owner would not even speak to me to address any of it. The lead guy also said he was shocked no one from the home office called to inform us they were late and had another job that morning before us. Beyond a doubt, Mr. Jones was maliciously refusing to speak with us and deliberately misleading and obfuscating the process - for whatever reason, he clearly had no intention for his team/company to do this work. Then, and this is the icing on the cake, one of the guys comes into the house with the two paintings that Weathersby had taken two weeks prior and they were all completely broken. They had not been repaired at all as we had been told. I told them to leave and have asked for Weathersby to be removed from the process. Avoid this company, and their unprofessional, disrespectful owner at all cost! That's my wholehearted, sincere recommendation.
Description of Work: Nothing at all.

This seems to be a hard category to get people to return your phone calls. I probably made 10 calls and they either didn't return my call, or said it wasn't their "territory" and referred me to someone who didn't call me back. Finally called this company and spoke to Joseph on a Saturday. He said he'd call back on Tuesday (holiday weekend). On Thursday someone called to set the appointment. The person didn't show up for that appointment, then rescheduled. He was late for the rescheduled appointment, and rushed because we had to be out of the house due to other work being done. He took the table leg, glide and file cabinet rail and said he'd be back on Thursday of that week. I called and called, he never answered my calls. Finally a week later, said he'd be there "late" that afternoon. Never showed. Called back to the office - left a message for the person who set up the appointment - she never called me back. Finally called the main number, got Joseph. Expressed my extreme dissatisfaction with the repair person he'd dispatched. He finally made an appointment for 3:00 that day - and he did show up, after calling several times for directions - to my house where he'd been before! He proceeded to install the dresser glide and said he was done - but the drawer didn't close all the way - AND he'd scratched my dresser. So he took it back out, not being careful with my other furniture in the room, and eventually sanded it down so the drawer closed. Had decided that instead of replacing the mechanisms on the file cabinets, they would lube them with a graphite product - except that the cabinets are open on the bottom and the graphite would have gotten on my new carpet. Told him to forget it. Finally redrilled the bushing on the table leg and presented me with this exorbitant bill. Overall, a thoroughly unprofessional, dissatisfying experience.
Description of Work: Replaced a glide in a dresser and repaired a table leg on a really heavy farm table in which the bushing had come out and the table was not stable. Originally wanted to have 2 file cabinets repaired, but told him to forget it.

Excellent. They arrived on time, as promised and completed all work in 1.5 hours. They cleaned up all the mess and had us inspect all repairs. They were courteous and cleaned up after themselves well. The result was near perfect repairs.
Description of Work: They came on behalf of the moving company to repair damaged wood furniture. They repaired a nicked, gouged, and scratched entertainment center, dresser, end table, and bed.
