NOTE: WCA's performance went downhill starting in July 2015; therefore, the responses to this survey pertain to my community's service beginning in July 2015. WCA was scheduled to pick up my community's recycling on Tuesdays and garbage on Fridays... They no showed multiple times... Several of us called their office at different times and were all told by their customer service representative that all she could do was send a request to "dispatch" which was pointless. I asked for a manager to call me back and one did not. We were also told that if a pick-up date was missed, WCA would rectify the situation by sending someone out the following day. This did not happen either. Our service this month has been sporadic at best. My community's HOA management company asked WCA to cancel our contract due to non-performance and WCA's Legal representative told her that they would still hold us to their contractual cancellation clause. So, basically we are supposed to pay for something we are not receiving and our trash and recycling is just supposed to sit outside in the July heat until we can procure a new service provider without overlapping with WCA? While their price was a little less than other providers, their performance and customer service has been substandard to say the least. I WOULD NOT use this company.

Worse company I have ever had to try to deal with. They do not answer their phone. They do not return your phone calls after you leave them messages because they never answer their phone. I would never use nor recommend WCA Waste to anyone. If you do use them, be aware that if you have any issue ever, it will never be resolved.

Not good. Been using them for 1 yr since building a new home in the Houston. Took them several months to drop off can and recycling container. Not sure they would have if I didn't call them regularly. Weekly service was acceptable. I made the mistake of setting up bill payment automatically and didn't notice until they went to a new system that they were overcharging me weekly vs charging per quarter. After a several calls to their customer service they acknowledged they had overbilled and would issue a check refund and it would take 7-10 days. After 3 calls, they now tell me it could take up to 30 days. With this large of an error, I would think they would make it a priority to fix it. I've asked for a call from the manager, and have never received a call back. There are other options in our area for collection which I will be reviewing once WCA issue my refund.

We have two apartment complexes. One is 34 unit and the other 106 units. The small one we had one dumpster and the large omplex we have two dumpsters. Both are supposed to be picked up twice a week. We were with a different company which was purchased by Global Waste. They were doing fine until WCA purchased Global Waste in December 2013. Service had been bad but tolerable. Starting last week, they picked up only one time a week without notifying us. This week they picked up only one dumpster on the bigger property. So they only picked up 1/4 of what they supposed to pick up. We also could not talk to anyone. Can't you image all the trash piled up? We are going to look for another company and cancelled the contract with this company even though we were required to give 30 days notice. They breached the contract by not picking up the trash. I can't even pay them with credit card as I always did because I couldn't get through with them. We always paid them on time. We cannot wait for them to take care of the problem because our trash is piling up. Horrible nightmare!! Mr. Justice called and the problem was resolved. As of now I have no complaints.

When we tried to leave a message as instructed by the phone message, it said the box was full. After days of calling and waiting, our manager finally got to talk to someone, and they told us our contract was only for one dumpsters. We actually signed the contracts back in November 2011.

My company uses them for our dumpster service. We don't swap twice monthly during our non busy season so they charge us rent. They also charge a huge amount of fees that really add up. When we started with this company they didn't have all these fees and our bills were managable. Along with rising dumpster costs, the fees and rent are killing us. Another problem is that they bill twice monthly now. This is hard to keep up with. One of their drivers ran into our fence and damaged it. They said and did nothing about this. Another driver was completely unprofessional and threatened our employees regarding the dumpster when it did not warrant it,we complained about him and heard nothing. Multiple times, the driver did not check his notes that the gate was "dummy locked" and did not pick up the dumpster. Instead of sending someone right out, we had to wait, in once case, two days. They did remove the FEE for that day. All in all, this has been the most expensive dumpster company we have ever dealt with and we will have to look for another service. Until this week, we have always had old beat up dumpsters. I was shocked to see a brand new freshly painted dumpster. The only positive thing I can say for WCA. Sorry.
