Description of Work: I am a catering company owner and called them because one of my employees accidentally punctured a water line with a drill. (Very stupid, I know.) Village Plumbers was extremely nice and professional on the phone and they had a technician out quickly. The technician greeted me politely and I showed him the problem. Then he started spouting all kinds of weird and incomprehensible pricing information, such as a $350. "leak diagnostic fee" (um, the leak was right in front of us, plain as day). Thank goodness that my husband is an engineer, because he started to talk to the technician and quickly concluded that he was totally unprepared and ill-equipped to do much of anything plumbing-emergency-wise. So we sent him away.

Description of Work: Fixed the washing machine (there was a penny in the line) and installed a new garbage disposal. We also bought the disposal from Village Plumbing. Their work is excellent. I don't consider their price low but have not compared to other plumbers.

Description of Work: The Village Plumbing folks came out to give me an estimate to fix my sink, which was leaking due to a hole in the stainless. On the bright side, the technician didn't do a hard sell, on the less bright side, I'd done plenty of research and knew at least as much about how much my sink should cost as he did. | |I bought my own sink and faucet and had Village Plumbing come back out to install it. A few days later, there was water under my sink again! On the bright side, again, they sent someone out to re-caulk the sink and that seems to have fixed it. | |Best thing: the folks who answer the phone. They're compassionate, helpful, and very polite. The ladies to whom I spoke really wanted to get it right. | |Worst thing: Expensive. Scheduling wasn't easy as they're busy.
