High quality work. Clean, professional, polite, efficient. Arrived on time and price quoted in advance was fair. All work done right the first time. Have had other good experiences with this firm on other service calls.

Very good. The technician waited around to make sure there was no gas leak. We did not need any additional service.

Jimmy and his assistant did an awful lot of standing around talking about what to do instead of just doing the job. If they didn't know how, say so and move on to the tasks they could. Assistant worked on the bathroom faucet for over 1 hr before stating the vanity was crumbling, couldn't install. No sign that he even tried. Jimmy worked on kitchen filter and tap for 1 hr before stating he didn't have proper tools. He said he would come back the next day, and never showed? Took 2 full days to install water heater. Why?

Very punctual. Had to work for some time as the clog must have been really bad. This is after I had already tried my snake and hit that clog without success. He explained that it might be a shift problem with our old cement pipes and at some point we may have to replace them. Clogged again 2 days later. He came back out and ran it again. Is working an estimate to camera and replace the pipes.

I was expecting them to identify a major and costly problem. It turned out to be minor and so I was billed only their nominal amount for a house call. I was pleased that they were honest and did not try to take advantage of the situation.

The that work was done okay but the price was high. They did not offer to fix the hole in the wall and told me I need to do that myself. They wanted me to pay a fee to be on the discount club and I would have to call them for any work that I needed to have done for a year. I would not recommend them to my friends.

Excellent job. Plumber was knowledgeable, polite and a pleasure to deal with.

They did a great job with this. On time and spent time explaining the whole process to me. Very helpful. Have had them do other jobs as well: install gas line to dryer, install dryer vent, and that was done very well as well. My only complaint is that I think they should have free estimates.

Came within 4 hours of my call. Very impressed with service and would use them again.

No response to my initial e-mail requesting service scheduling. When I called, they had no idea they had been contacted through the listed e-mail. Once scheduled, they arrived within the designated time frame. Work was completed reasonably quickly.

I HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY WERE GREAT I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

Plumber was on time and worked quickly, very professional. I was a bit surprised to be charged for both the service call and the work itself as if they were separate visits, when the repairman was able to make the repairs during the single visit - I was under the impression that I would be charged for the work call only if the repairman had to come back with parts for a second visit.

I BOUGHT A NEW DISPOSAL, WHICH WAS EXPENSIVE BUT DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. THE SERVICEMAN WAS NOT INTERESTED IN LOOKING BEYOND THIS EXPENSIVE, BUT USELESS SOLUTION. HE WAS PLEASANT, BUT DID NOT LOOK FAR ENOUGH and DID NOT FIX MY PROBLEM.

THEY OFTEN SEND OUT FLYERS WITH GOOD DISCOUNTS. I'VE BEEN USING THEM FOR SEVERAL YEARS BASED ON A GREAT EXPERIENCE I HAD WITH THEM THE FIRST TIME.

TURNED OUT TO BE NOTHING AT ALL. CHARGED THE MINIMUM AND I HAD A $20 COUPON. ARRIVED ON TIME. SERVICE WAS FINE.

WE HAVE 3 PROPERTIES, AND USE THEM ALL THE TIME.

SINCE IT WAS A BIG JOB, WE DECIDED TO GO WITH THEM BECAUSE OF THEIR NAME, MAKING ME FEEL THAT THEY WOULD DO A GREAT JOB. THEY LEFT A MESS IN THE YARD, WHICH THEY DID APOLOGIZE FOR. IT WAS RAINING THAT DAY, WHICH CAUSED THE MESS. THEY DID NOT OFFER TO COME BACK TO CLEAN IT UP. THERE WAS NO PRESSURE IN MY WATER AND I CALLED THEM TO HELP. THEY FIRST STATED THAT IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT THEY FIXED, BUT THEN THEY DID COME OUT ANYWAY AND FIXED IT WITHOUT CHARGE. IT WAS CAUSED BY THE DEBRIS FROM THE REPAIR. THE MANAGER CAME OUT YESTERDAY TO LOOK AS SOME PIPES WERE STILL EXPOSED. HE COMMENTED ON HOW LOW THE AREA WAS WHERE THEY WERE WORKING ON MY LAWN. I TOLD HIM THAT IT WASN'T LIKE THAT WHEN THEY CAME, HOWEVER, HE TOLD ME THAT I WOULD HAVE TO GET TOPSOIL TO FILL IT IN. I WAS THINKING THEY WOULD DO THAT, SINCE THEY LEFT THE AREA LOWER THAN IT WAS BEFORE. I JUST FEEL LIKE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS NOT WHAT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN.

THEY CAME OUT THE SAME DAY I CALLED, WITHIN A COUPLE OF HOURS IN FACT, WHICH IMPRESSED ME AS THIS WAS NOT AN EMERGENCY. IN THE PROCESS OF REPLACING THE EXTERIOR FAUCET THEY DETECTED A LEAK IN THE PIPE LEADING TO THE HOUSE AND ENDED UP HAVING TO DO QUITE A BIT MORE WORK THEN EXPECTED. THEY WERE NEAT AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEY WERE FINISHED. THEY STUCK TO THE PRICE THEY HAD QUOTED ME AT THE OUTSET AND DIDN'T TRY TO TACK ON ANY ADDITIONAL CHARGES WHEN IT BECAME EVIDENT THAT THE JOB WOULD BE BIGGER THAN EXPECTED. THEY DIDN'T MIND MY WATCHING THEM WORK, ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS AND EVEN PUT UP WITH MY DOG NOSING AROUND. GREAT EXPERIENCE.

AFTER A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH ANOTHER COMPANY, WE DECIDED TO TRY VILLAGE PLUMBING BASED ON THEIR CONSUMER RECOMMENDATIONS. THE PLUMBERS CAME ON TIME AND CHARGED $49 FOR INSPECTION. THEY RECOMMENDED A TOILET CHANGE (IT SEEMED TOO QUICK AT FIRST WITHOUT CHECKING MUCH, BUT THEY SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT), AND GAVE GOOD ADVICE. WE WENT TO THEIR SHOWROOM ON KIRBY AND CHECKED VARIOUS OPTIONS. THEY WERE HELPFUL BUT THEIR SELECTION IS LIMITED AND FOR MANY ITEMS YOU HAVE TO WAIT 6 OR SO WEEKS FOR SHIPMENT. IN ABOUT A WEEK, THEY SET UP THE NEW TOTO TOILET (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED DRAKE) AND LEAKAGE IS STOPPED AND EVERYTHING IS FINE NOW. PRICES ARE SLIGHTLY ON THE HIGHER SIDE BUT THEIR RECOMMENDATIONS AND WORK LOOKS PRETTY SOLID. WE WILL HAPPILY HIRE THEM AGAIN. UPDATE ON 4/23/2012: We liked Village until our most revent experience - please see other review. Their prices are extremely high even though work done is usually good quality. Because of non-competitive prices, we will not hire them again.

I'VE USED THEM FOR A FEW YEARS. THEY CLEANED THE DRAINS FROM MY ROOF VENT, REMOVING ROOTS FROM OUR MAIN LINE DRAINS AND MADE SURE THAT EVERYTHING WAS RUNNING CLEAR. THEY ARRIVED AHEAD OF TIME WITHIN AN HOUR OF MY CALL. THEY'VE ALWAYS BEEN VERY PROMPT.

HAD AN EMERGENCY RIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS. THEY RESPONDED THAT MORNING, THE 23RD AND INSTALLED A RECOMMENDED COMMODE WITH WHICH WE ARE VERY PLEASED.

THIS COMPANY IS VERY CLOSE TO MY HOUSE AND I'VE ALWAYS HEARD GREAT THINGS ABOUT THEM. I CALLED THEM AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR TWO DAYS LATER. THE TECHNICAL WAS ON TIME (EVEN A FEW MINUTES EARLY) AND PROVIDED ME A QUOTE WITHIN ABOUT 45 MINUTES. HE WAS ABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM RIGHT THEN AND THERE. HE WAS ONLY THERE FOR ABOUT 1.5 HOURS. SINCE I JUST WANTED IT FIXED I DIDN'T GET ANY OTHER QUOTES. I'VE ALWAYS HEARD THEY WERE A LITTLE PRICEY, BUT THIS EXPERIENCE MADE ME THINK THEY JUST MIGHT BE WORTH IT. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL GET WITH CONTRACTORS SOMETIMES!

THEY CAME ON TIME AS SCHEDULED AND PLUMBER WAS ABLE TO IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM QUICKLY. RAPIDLY CHANGED OUT THE OLD PART WITH NEW PART and FIXED IT.

THE PLUMBERS WERE CLEAN AND POLITE. THEY EXPLAINED THE CHOICES AND THE PRICE FOR EACH OPTION AND TOOK CARE NOT TO DAMAGE THE SIDE OF MY HOUSE WHEN ENTERING AND LEAVING THE CRAWLSPACE.

THE GUY WAS ON-TIME ND HE WAS RESPECTFUL. THE PRICES WERE REASONABLE.
