I thought they were more interested selling me a membership, then settling the leak problem. I felt they were too pushy with sales. I also, found that they insisted that I needed a permit to do the work and that was not true, at all.

I don t think that they were not trying to rip me off or anything, but I would have liked a detailed bill. This company does excellent work. They are very honorable people, but they are way over priced in my opinion. I would use them again, but I would call around for different pricing first.

I am very satisfied with them in fact, this was the second time I used them. Our new toilets base was a little bigger than my old one and they made sure that it would fit without them having to cut on my tiles. It only took them two house calls to finish the job. We chose a more expensive toilet so we paid more than the standard one.

I did not have a good experience with Village Plumbing. I already knew that tree roots busted the sewer pipe and I explained that to him but he still used the camera to check it out and charged me. He then told me a ridiculous price on what it would cost me to fix it. I was upset that I was out of my money and I will not be using this company.

The job only took about two hours, so I think it was a little expensive for the amount of time they spent working but he comes to my home from time to time to make sure everything is working correctly.

I had a good experience with this company. They were very prompt and responsive, because they came when they said, they would. The dishwasher works fine now, so I would say the work quality was excellent.

Because of the communication over the phone, they were able to bring the correct part with them when they came out to my home. They fixed it very quickly and they did show up on time.

Called in the morning and repairman was here that afternoon. Had the part on the truck and repaired the refrigerator. Prompt, courteous - called several repair companies but Village was only one that could come same day - with a refrigerator, that makes a BIG difference!!

Although our appointment was for between 10:00 and 1:00, David arrived at about 2:00. He went right to work and replaced a water valve. He is a very competent and knowledgeable young man. He finished the job in less than 30 minutes and even balanced our washer so that it wouldn't rock. I am very satisfied with David and with the work, but I felt that it was very expensive. If I had not printed and used the $20 coupon on their website, it would have cost $167.37. I guess I didn't realize how much this type of thing should cost. Still, I am happy that my washer is working again. I guess you get what you pay for!

They came out within two days of my call, which was great, as the dripping was driving me nuts! He did a good job. I would recommend him.

Identified the problem very quickly, and was very thorough.

The technician checked the faulty Jennaire refrigerator and determined that the power board had failed. He said a new one would cost some $300.00, shipping it to Houston overnight would cost another $50.00. I am not sure what the labor cost would have been. He also said his company doesn't do warranty work. Since the refrigerator was still under warranty we thanked him and he left after collected the service fee.

The guys showed up on time and were very courteous. They showed us the new parts, which were exactly what we picked out. They answered our questions before the work was started and showed us the finished product, when they were done. The new additions to the bathroom look wonderful. Their clean-up was great as the bathroom was spotless when they left.

They came on time and they did a great job. They work that they did turned out to be less of a hassle, than I thought it would be. They were very nice people and very efficient in their work.

The guy was very professional in that he showed up on time and listened to my description of the problem prior to starting the job. It didn't take him that long to do the work and he did an excellent job of cleaning up. I thought the quality of his work very good because my tub doesn't leak anymore. I don't remember how much he charged but I do know it was very reasonable.

The technicians arrived promptly, they assessed what was wrong with the appliance and did the repair work in an efficient manner. Both technicians were very courteous. I recommend highly and will hire them again.

A HORRIBLE experience. Despite the high estimate, Village seemed to have a good rep, important since we were having a gas line installed. They made me feel like a 16-yr old girl in a body shop, insisting that we'd NEVER pass city inspection if they didn't also reroute our dryer vent and fix a "leaky" valve on our water heater (which, by the way, the city inspector never looked at). They were late and took much longer than they said they would to get their average-quality work done. Then, after reassuring me that I didn't have to be home for them to turn off the gas in advance of the city inspection, when I wasn't home they left and CANCELED THE INSPECTION W/THE CITY (which I had taken off work to handle). Thankfully, the City Inspector was gracious and re-rearranged his schedule to complete the inspection. The phone operator was very helpful when it all hit the fan (since "Jimmy's" cell was dead, so I couldn't reach him to come back), but I'd NEVER recommend Village.

When I called, there was a $49.95 "service fee" that would be waived if a repair was done. Their guy came out, fiddled with the faucet, tightened the nuts and said "it works but you might want to come to the shop and look for another faucet." He then told me the charge was $129.50 or something like that. I had a fit. He was here no more than 10 minutes and did no more than I had done on my own. I asked if he could replace the inner workings of the Moen, he said he couldn't because he didn't have the "o rings." What is that about? I told him what I was told on the phone - that the visit charge was $49.95 and that no one said anything about a repair charge for tightening screws. He said the $129 was the "standard" fee for "repair" but he would "only charge" the $49.50. $49.50 in less than 15 minutes, for tightening a screw and ignoring your client? Not bad work if you can get it. Fool me once.

The service call was supposed to be from 2:00 to 5:00 pm but the technician arrived at 7:30 pm. He was courteous and efficient and completed the work in approx 15 minutes, but the price was high. I called and spoke with the manager/owner about the cost. At first he was very defensive, but became more agreeable and offered a one year service contract at no cost.

We had a leak in our shower. Village Plumbing came out over the weekend to assess the problem but wasn't able to do anything until Monday when they would have access to the spare parts (which left us without water for the whole weekend). On Monday they showed up on time and with the spare part, but unfortunately the wrong one. Had to wait another hour until the right part got delivered. The work got done and they left the workspace clean. Just wish they could have fixed it right away.

David was on time, they even called to make sure it was OK if he came a little early, very neat in his work and fast. He had to come back the next day, to let the wood floor dry out and to get another set of tools, since the leaking toilet was more complicated than anyone could have guessed. He had to cut back the existing pipe to add another piece to make it long enough. Fortunately, he was able to do it from the inside, rather than from under the house. After he was done, everything was neat and clean and worked perfectly.

I was told a plumber would be out between 8 and 11 am. Don showed up at 9:15. He assessed the problem and told me what needed to be done and fixed it. I talked to him about the water pressure problem in the shower and he suggested a shower head that he installed for $70 above the original price of $590. I know plumbing is expensive but this was well worth the cost and it's always nice to have confidence in the person who comes and works on your home. This was a great experience. Don is an excellent plumber. I will definitely call Village Plumbing again. I highly recommend asking for Don.

The plumber was on time, and very polite. He did a good job. He cleaned up his mess. I will use them again.
