A lot of people in the area use them and they are very clean and polite. I called them to get a quote and they took a very long time and finally when I got the bid it was a very high price. They had to dig up whole front yard and replace everything and it ending up costing more. In terms of their personality, they were professional, but their work was not. I called another company and they got the work done for a reasonable price.

They are local and are wonderful. You don’t have to wait for them to come out. They usually come the same day or the next day when you call. They will call the office if they don’t have the parts and so you don’t have to reschedule for another day to fix the issue. They price is fine and I will use them in the future.

I called for service at 10:46 AM. They took my pertinents and said that a repairman could be here between noon and four. She said that there was a $59 charge for a service call, that would not be charged if they actually performed work. They called at 2:20 PM and said David was on his way. David showed up a few minutes later. He listened to the problem. He carefully diagnosed the problem, and checked the machine over for other problems. He performed the repair quickly and efficiently. He left the area clean and organized. The total charge was $85. I am on the third load since he left and everything is perfect.

They provided excellent service. They were very prompt, clean, and detail-oriented. They did a thorough job. The job was a little extensive, but that's okay.

The experience went on extremely well. They offered fair price and I have no complaints. They were courteous and couldn't be any better. I would use them again if I had any problems with my appliances again.

He determined that a belt was bad; replaced it and started a new cycle to make sure there were no other problems.

Wonderful! Aaron is a very personable knowledgeable young man. He really knows his stuff about plumbing. He explained everything and gave me some good maintenance advice, too. He even tightened something in our bathroom sink that my wonderful (but unhandy) husband had already "fixed".

They come out every year and check out all of my plumbing. They have always been really good at letting me know that the contract is coming up for renew. This is until last October. I was not notified and my contract expired.

Technician was supposed to arrive between 8:00 and Noon, actual arrival was 11:30. This was only irritating in that we had afternoon plans and had expected the service to be completed before noon, not at noon. The tech arrived looked at the oven and said, the control board is bad and will need to be replaced. Once the control panel is working he can read the error codes (if any) and diagnose any other issues with the oven. The control board was on back order so we agreed we would call back to place the order at a later time. I was curious about all this so I decided to take off the trim on the oven and open the control panel myself. The caulk the painter used was still intact so I new the tech had not opened up the oven control unit to check it. I checked and reseated all of the connectors on the back of the control board, put everything back together and viola, the display came on and the oven now works. The replacement $300 control board was not needed after all. I think the tech should have opened the control panel and checked the connections, like I did, during the service visit. I called Village Plumbing to complain and they refunded me the charge for the service call. I do not know why the tech did not perform this basic troubleshooting step.

Called the company on January 5 to request the repair of a microwave oven that wouldn't start. They said they could send a technician the next morning, and I agreed. He arrived as promised, took the microwave apart, tested the main fuse and found it to be defective. He analyzed the door switch and concluded it was not defective. He didn't have a replacement fuse in his truck and decided to go to the nearest hardware store where he bought the fuse. He installed it, and the microwave oven appears to be working properly. The whole job including the purchase of the fuse took about two hours.

It seemed to me that every job that they are willing to do costs a minimum of $280. I was in a bind, so we agreed to have them come to the house. They are not forthcoming with prices for over the phone. He did work that was not difficult. The technician was pleasant, punctual, and polite. Unfortunately, the prices are too high and I will shop around next time. The new garbage disposal quit while he was there, but he replaced it right away. I will be responsible for the next one.

Quick response. Charles was great and he answered all my questions. They deserve the reputation as the cleanest plumber in town.

Mr David Ibarra is a great master plumber and an asset to this company. This is the second time I met him the first was when three months ago I asked for an estimate on a remodeling of a 30 year old condo unit. Mr Ibarra was very professional, I paid for the estimate 70 dollars and I also got a lot of information and general education on the remodeling of plumbing. He answered all my questions and he provided good and valuable advice. For different reasons I decided not to do the bath remodeling at all, the company was also very pricey for my budget but I was very impressed with his professionalism so I was happy to see that he was the one to come to do the maintenance service.

It went excellent. They are very clean and prompt. They are very nice and they explain what they are doing and why, very thoroughly. They come quickly to do the work, because they are stationed near by.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to be at home at the time of the work, so I had a friend there to meet them. When I got home, I was quite shocked to find my ceiling completely cut up with saw dust everywhere. They weren't able to find what they needed so they left. We scheduled a time for them to return. I left work early to meet them there. The original person was unable to come, so they sent someone else. He also couldn't figure out what was wrong, but gave me a few hypotheses. Finally, he solidified his theory and told me I just needed better caulking around the shower. They left, never to be heard from again. I had to patch up my ceiling, got better caulking around my shower, but unfortunately think there is still a leak. The folks were friendly and I didn't pay any money--but the leak is still there and I had to pay money to close up my ceiling, and it now appears the problem remains!

I called V.P. about a constantly running toilet and running sink. Twice, before, I called them for a clogged garbage disposal and both times they claimed to not be able to fix it and said the entire disposal needed to be replaced; each time at 500.00 +. Then, I called twice for running toilets. Again, I was told they couldn't be repaired but, instead, the entire insides of the toilet needed to be replaced, each time at 300.00+. I hesitated to call them again for a minor problem because I was afraid they'd give me the same story; it can't be repaired and needs replacing. I gave them a try anyway. Sure enough, I got the same story with a big price tag! These fixtures were all just a few years old and were not cheap! I can only conclude they will rip off a sucker when they see one. Yes, I have always been a sucker but I'm slowly learning the hard way! I will never use this company again due to my suspicions.

They are pretty good and seem to know what they are doing. They gave me a suggestion that other people hadn't thought of.

They came out once to repair something on the washer. After that, it started rocking all over the place during the spin cycle. They came back out to look at it, not charging us anything; however it still rocks during the spin cycle. So, in essence, they fixed the main problem but caused another one in the process.

I originally contacted them on Monday afternoon, and the first available appointment time to repair my washer was not until Friday. I set it up for Friday morning. I called them again on Thursday to be sure I was still on the list for Friday as I was sure having a lot of laundry pile up by this time. They called me at 9:45 on Friday to cancel my appointment; they just said that their tech had an emergency and wouldnt be able to make. They did not offer me another time later in the day, or in fact, the only alternative they offered was to refer me to another company. I called that company, and they also could not come out on Friday. I had arranged to be home from work today just to get this fixed, and I ended up having to just go through the phone book until I could find someone who could come out.

Village Plumbing did a very good job repairing both the washing machine and the oven door handle. The repairman was on time, courteous, identified and completed the repairs in a timely manner. The charge of $77.50 was very reasonable. The call-out time was good as well. I called them the day before the repairman came out to our house.
