I am extremely happy with how my garage floor turned out! The owner of the company was very attentive to my request (I tend to be indecisive) and made sure I was happy at each phase of the project. I had looked at a few other companies and decided to go with this one. So glad that I did! Thanks Nick!

We hired Nick to do a small flooring job in NW Houston based on his low price quote ($1512) and assurance of professionalism and expertise. Unfortunately, we turned out wrong on all 3 counts Nick demanded more money ($300) after ripping out the laminate (reason: poor concrete surface). This is fine, you can have surprises. And we agreed. What was not fine was the accompanying delays and rude behavior. But this was not enough! After a bit more work, he demanded even more money (another $450). This time there was no surprise. The most charitable interpretation would be that he is inexperienced at the job and unskilled at coming up with a good quote. At worst, he comes off as an extortionist who will escalate his demands once he has you up trapped. We agreed with his second price increase just to have him finish so the tenants could move back. And the quality? Nowhere near acceptable for the price we paid

Response from Venetian Frescoes LLC
Once I removed laminate flooring, I documented the poor craftsmanship of the self leveling application below the laminate. I informed you of the condition of the floor, and insisted that we should not install the epoxy because it was going to exceed my quote, as it would require much more material. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] responded that she wanted to continue with the epoxy system. I then grinded the concrete, attempting to level the uneven floor. After I applied the base coat, I estimated that it would require at least 2 more kits ($300), and was uncertain if that would be enough. She agreed, and I reminded her of my opinion that epoxy was not ideal for the condition of the floor. I installed a total of 5 kits of epoxy (which would be almost enough material to complete the same sq ft TWICE), yet the floor remained unlevel. I insisted that we should install LVP, due to needing more material. At THIS point Mrs. [Member Name Removed] began to accuse me of attempting to fraudulently escalate the price by deceptive means. I calmly explained that I was not charging her labor for my and my helper's time to install the extra materials. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] asked me how much more material it would take, and I replied at least 3 more epoxy kits, although 4 would be best. She agreed to 3 more kits, valued at $450. The photo that Mr. and Mrs. [Member Name Removed] shared was a high spot in the concrete that had little epoxy on it, which caused it to make the pattern shown in the picture. Out of app. 170 sq ft, that was the only remaining high spot in the floor. I have photo and video evidence of the poor craftsmanship that caused the condition of the floor to be unsuitable for an epoxy system. My advise was not heeded throughout the entirety of the project, and my character was assaulted. After reading this review, I called Mr. [Member Name Removed] and offered to install LVP over the epoxy out of pocket. He responded that it was a rental and it was fine.

The epoxy countertops came out beautiful. Took a little time but the end result was awesome. I would recommend Nick to anyone needing their countertops refinished with epoxy. Great job Nick ! Brian
