Had the magnetron go out on our Bosch Microwave. Manuel came over that afternoon to assess and two great guys came over the next day to install. Very professional, very nice and fully qualified. Took great care and did superlative work. Bobby, the service manager was very nice too. Highly recommended.

Overall it went great! The service technicians were on time for both the initial appointment and follow up repair appointment and were very professional and courteous throughout. Everything was explained up front and the final price matched the quoted repair price. You can tell that they are really focused on customer satisfaction and I would definitely hire again in the future

We've used them twice now, once last year and a second time just yesterday. I found them last year on Angie's List and requested a second opinion from them. Pricing was very fair, they performed the services immediately and our fridge was running in no time. This second time, our compressor needed to be replaced. The technician explained the symptoms and again, we were given a very fair price by the owner. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

The repair is only a couple of days old. Everything appears to work. I was very impressed with the Uptown Appliance Repair team. The technician that came to my home thoroughly explained his diagnosis to me. Based up on his findings, I negotiated repair costs with the service manager/owner (Bobby) over the phone. I let Bobby know that I had another company coming to look at the refrigerator the next day to provide a quote. The other company determined that I needed more extensive repairs based upon the age of the refrigerator (19 years). After further discussions with Bobby, who explained the company’s reasons for their assessment, I decide to go with Uptown Appliance. Also, I was impressed with their 2-year warranty on parts and labor. Once selected, Bobby arranged to schedule the repair work for that afternoon. The repairman was extremely organized and professional and the work (replacing evaporator coils, dryer filters, freon) went smoothly. Since the work included cutting or welding, I was impressed how quickly (and cleanly) the work was performed. BTW, I was not charged Uptown’s trip fee for coming out the first day. Once I told Bobby that I had another company coming out to provide a quote, he told me to wait until I had decided on which company to use. Of course, Uptown waived the trip fee when I selected them.

They did a great job. They came out when they said they would, the technician was professional and knew his stuff. It was a difficult job because it was fixing a LG refrigerator which is hard to work on and it was hard to get to the area needed. But he did it and knew what he was doing. I recommend Uptown.

The service provider rescheduled the appointment several times and when they finally came out, the repair wasn’t completed correctly

The Uptown Appliance repair technician came right out in the time promised, assessed the problem with the ice maker and made the repair in a courteous and professional manner. I would not hesitate to call for their services if needed for future appliance repairs.

We had been referred to another repair company by the retail operation from whom we bought our microwave oven wall unit. The full extent of the referred technician’s diagnostics was to try to heat a cup of water in the microwave and then write an estimate for replacing the magnetometer, a capacitor, and a diode. I did not have confidence in his approach. The technicians from Uptown arrived as scheduled, put disposable booties on so that they would not track anything through the house, brought in a jack unit so that they could carefully remove the appliance from the wall, and performed a thorough, internal inspection. The only component that was defective was the magnetometer, and Uptown charged 60% less for that component than the previous repair company had bid. Bobby Fierro, the Uptown owner, stayed in constant contact with us, kept us informed, and wanted to be sure that we were comfortable and satisfied with Uptown’s performance. We were; the technicians could not have been more conscientious.

I hired Uptown Appliance Repair to repair my freestanding ice machine. I had never used them before. They were very professional, prompt, honest and reasonably priced. The tech came out and diagnosed the problem which was a $900 repair! The primary cost was the expensive part and refrigerant. Uptown told me that even though the appliance was out of warranty, I should call KitchenAid and ask that they provide the part for free. Uptown explained that the evaporator unit should not go out after only 3 years. KitchenAid did agree to provide the part, but wanted me to use their recommended repair company. KitchenAid said that the quote I received from Uptown to install the part was unreasonably high and that the service call fee was too high. I agreed to have KitchenAid's repair company come out, but when they did, their service call charge and their labor fee were significantly higher than Uptown. Uptown's labor fee would be about $250 cheaper. I sent them home and called KitchenAid back. KitchenAid apologized for their inaccurate information and agreed to mail me the part so I could have Uptown come back and install it. Thanks to Uptown's suggestion to call KitchenAid, I saved $350 on the part and $250 on the labor. I will use Uptown from now on for all my appliance repair needs.

I called in the morning and was able to get a same day appointment, which was awesome! The tech showed up on time and diagnosed and fixed the issue promptly. The tech was professional and polite. Very good experience overall!

I called in the afternoon, appointment was set for the next morning. Repairman arrived during the window, identified the problems and had the repairs completed by 1 PM. They were prompt and professional. I thought the price was a bit high, but the Angie's List coupon brought it down to a reasonable amount.

I was very fortunate Uptown Appliance Repair was able to send someone the same day my washing machine stopped working. Unfortunately the repairs needed would be as expensive as buying a new machine and we decided to replace rather than repair it. Very polite, prompt service. I will definitely call them again if needed.

The initial repair attempt was expensive and only worked for a few days. They made a few more different attempts that were not successful. Uptown Appliances refunded my repair costs in full. Just time for a new dryer.

Uptown gave us an appointment the next day, arrived during the promised window, quickly diagnosed the issue, then returned within an hour with the replacement part. Quick, professional, and very courteous. The owner, Bobby, was onsite with the technician and was very friendly. We have a topper laying over the top of the washer and dryer and there was a lot of dust underneath it. Bobby had his tech wipe off the dust from the top of the washer and dryer before they left, which was much appreciated. Will use them again.

Bobby called soon after my initial outreach. He and his coworker arrived at my house within a few hours. They did a great job getting the problem fixed. They knew what they were doing. They were very polite and professional, and they wore shoe nets. Top notch. Very pleased.

To be honest, I don't think I have ever left a review on a website before but felt compelled to this time. The service was awesome. Bobby, the manager, was in constant communication with me. They squeezed us in and were polite and professional. Stayed late on a Friday night. I would definitely use them again!

I called on 07/05 and spoke with a Bobby. After our discussion, he made an appt for between 4 and 6 pm that evening. I left work early and went home expecting the call and technician visit. I never heard another word from the company. I thought that perhaps they would call and apologize the next morning, however, I have not received any communication from them. I think any company that makes a commitment to a customer and causes them to lose work and the company representative never shows up is not managed properly.

Bobby and his team were complete professionals. They called when they were on the way, diagnosed the problem, ordered the necessary parts and rescheduled to come back to make the repair. Again, they called when they were on the way and tried to make the repairs. The part to be removed would not budge and Bobby asked if they could take the machine back to their warehouse so they would not take any more of my time. The next day, they brought the repaired machine back and reinstalled. The machine was thoroughly cleaned before reinstallation. I will be using Uptown Appliance for all my appliance repair needs.

A little late due to traffic but encountered unexpected issues with fridge. Stayed late to fix everything! Ask for Bobby Fierro. He did a great job.
