Carols, at Uptown Appliance Repair, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and efficient, and he showed up on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem and came back with the parts to complete the repair. He removed all the packaging and the original damaged parts from the area after he finished the repair. The scheduling and payment process was easy, and it was always easy to get someone on the phone to get an update on timing for parts and an ETA on the scheduled day of repair. Will definitely hire again if another problem comes up, and I will definitely ask for Carlos.

They came out when they said they would gave me an estimate and returned with the parts and repaired it. Did an extra piece of work and didn’t charge me and would come out and do a minor repair on an other appliance and waive the service fee and warranted this work for two years.

Great. Uptown did a quick and amazing job. They are on time and very professional. We have used them several times over the years and always have been very pleased. I recommend them 100% and will continue to use them for both large and small appliance repairs. Thank you Uptown for being there when needed. They also answer after hour calls and respond as needed.

Excellent job. Both Patricio and Adrian did a very nice job and were very conscientious about their masks, footwear, gloves, and social distance. Ice maker is now working great.

Very pleased. I called Monday afternoon and arranged for a tech to come and look at the unit on Tuesday between 10 and 2. The tech arrived at 10 AM, diagnosed the problem and said the office would get back to me in the afternoon. I received a call in the afternoon with the repair estimate and a recommendation to not fix the unit as a comparable new unit would cost about $600. There was no charge for the service call.

The repairmen were on time and very efficient. They ordered parts and installed them and made sure everything was working perfectly. They wore face masks, gloves and shoe covers which I greatly appreciated during this terrible COVID-19 pandemic. I will definitely call Uptown Appliance if I need a repair in the future.

Fantastic service! Service reps showed up on time with the part in hand. Compressor was replace in less than an hour. These guys know their stuff. The refrigerator is cooling like new.

My experience was excellent. Jerry, the technician was very professional and quickly diagnosed the problem. He was very meticulous and knowledgeable and communicated easily the issue concerning the repair. We appreciated the company’s COVID safety measures. Jerry was very conscientious and thoroughly cleaned the work area. We are comfortable trusting the company with our future repair needs.

The tech came out on Tuesday and took 5 minutes to tell us that it needed to be replaced cause the arm was broken. He said they would order the part and then call and let me know the cost of the part and installation. They called me within the hour and advised the cost and it would delivered and installed by the third day. They were here on Thursday morning and took 15 minutes to install. It is working!! Yay! I do suggest that you get the labor costs explained cause we thought that that cost was a little high cause we were told the cost of the call would be subtracted from the installation costs but it was not. It was my fault. I should have asked for further explanation before paying. Otherwise it was a wonderful experience.

They came the day after I contacted them--they had the part needed in stock and were able to fix it that very day. Repairman was very professional. Best appliance repair company I have dealt with--I will definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

Update: I gave this company a low rating/review due to a misunderstanding. I gave it a D. The issue was completely resolved and the owner was very kind about it. I don't know how to remove the bad review, and I'm sorry for that because everything is great now. I'm quite sure that my initial review with a D rating is their only D, so please disregard it. Thanks
