It went well but I need some work done to my wiring in the house. It is an old house and some of the wiring is worn.

They told me that just to walk in my door it would be $289! I bought a Big Deal with Trademark for $48 for the service call, evaluate the entire system and a pound of freon.

Universal Home Experts formerly Universal Wiring were fine. The only thing that I have really found a little less undesirable is that I'm not comfortable dealing with A/C people or anyone who comes in and is obviously trying to sell me another service or more work. I probably would not have them back. I did not spend more than the big deal purchase. They were trying to sell other features or services along with the inspection. I cut that off but they would have gone there. I want people to come in and do what I ask them to do. The work that they did was fine and my house passed inspection when I sold it. My only reluctance is for people to feel under pressure to do something that would cost them more money that they originally had not thought of when it's not necessary for repairs. Their price was very reasonable for a pre-summer A/C check.

The installer was very knowledgable about the product, courteous, and punctual. He also cleaned up behind himself which is certainly a plus.

Joe arrived as scheduled, located the best position for the uv light, Installed the light and gave me some needed advice on my ac system. Very good experience over all and Joe was very intelligent about my ac system.

Technician arrived on time. Was curteous and informative. Good work.

Joe was the technician and he explained that the air condition unit kept tripping the breaker, It would not stay on. The same day, Glenn came and helped us decide what we needed. He was very helpful, not pushy at all. They removed and installed a new unit. Everyone we dealt with was very professional and polite.

They were good in communicating with me, on time, neat and clean.

I purchased a deal for an electrical inspection, and scheduled the visit about a week and a half in advance. The scheduling process was seamless, there was a confirmation call, as one would expect, and the electrician, Ross, arrived on the scheduled day, within the scheduled time. He identified himself, entered the premises with covered feet, we spoke a bit about my intent and reasoning for the inspection, and he proceeded with the inspection, explaining the process along the way. Upon completion, recommendations were provided for work to be performed, complete with quotes. I was impressed with the knowledge and professionalism, and would consider Universal for future work.

Had Universal Home Experts formerly Universal Wiring come out and do an inspection of wiring and to install an additional chandelier. Was unable to install additional chandelier. They were a good service provider but I thought the price was little high for what was done.

It went well. Embarrassingly the plumber had turned off a switch to the garage that I didn't think to check. Troubleshooting took 5 minutes:( Since he was already there he also did a breaker box inspection. Since I paid $169, seemed like a pretty overpriced surface for what I got.

I have used Universal Home Experts formerly Universal Wiring multiple times. My overall experience would be a B because if you are looking for prompt service, for something that needs immediately addressing, then they are good. They will come out quickly and they will have someone who is adept at doing the job. It is very expensive, their pricing is all a la carte. So to hang a ceiling fan is $170 before they open the box to see if it needs any assembly. He came out with a quote of $1000 for three ceiling fans and a couple of switches. I said I really can't afford that, but I really want this ceiling fan up. He did that, and then took that old ceiling fan and switched it out with another fan in another part of the house, which was what I wanted. It was going to be something ridiculous to switch out a dimmer which I had already purchased and I just wanted him to put in. So I said I can't do that, he said, oh well whatever I'll just do it anyway, and it was a 5 minute job. They are on the up-and-up but they are clearly targeting people who just want something done right then and there, not for people who are really knowledgeable about what's reasonable. I would use them in a pinch, but if I had several jobs that I needed lumped together then I would go out and look around.

Well except the outside sensor got water in it and quit working. They came right back out and fixed the problem. I was not charged

The electrician was on time, courteous and got the job done in a very timely manner. He had all portions of his work done and had to wait on the local power company to get their part done. He started at 8am and was finished by 3pm, and that included running all over the house, tracking down and labeling all the breakers.

The representative came on time. My impression was that the representative lacked the level of experience to perform a thorough electrical inspection. It appeared that he was more interested in knowing what I did for a living and how long have I lived in the community. Frankly he was too sociable and not truly focused on providing an indept professional assessment of the electrical system in my home. I got the impression that his marketing goal was to sale me on having a large electrical job done without a justified basis. As a result, I am contacting a electrical company that does electrical work only with seasoned electricians that I can have confidence in.

Made an appointment and technician arrived on time, was cordial and professional. He made his inspection and made his recommendations.

The provider was very nice and professional. He spent time going around the house and asked me if I had any trouble areas. Then he sat down with me to go over everything and provided me with a quote for around $1,800 from the provier for fixing everything.

Not too much to tell. They confirmed the appointment, showed up on time. They were both very pleasant and effective. i felt well taken care of that Dennis also adjusted the door bell. The overall price is high when you use a company with many electricians but i wanted to make sure it was done safely and correctly.

I had a good experience overall. They are professional and seem well trained.

The installer was professional and gave me feedback about how he would have to install the device before he proceeded with the work. (In my small condo, the return air didn't allow room for installation, so we had to install in the air supply.) The install went quickly, and he gave me instruction on how to maintain the device. Apparently the bulb should be replaced annually. The device must be replaced every 3-5 years.

It was fine as far as I know. They did the work on a house that I was renting out. As far as I know, they were on time and they did a great job. I did not get to met them personally. I think that they are pretty competitive on price.

It was okay. They told me I need $10000 worth of wiring and that my house was going t burn down if I didn’t and I got another electrician that said I was okay. The wiring was updated in 2001 and so it just needed to be updated again because my house was built in 1920. They were responsive and were here on time but they suggested things I didn’t need. I wounded up using a contractor and got my box upgraded.

I spoke to Nick. The conversation started pretty normal. Told me what the fees were and that they guarantee the work. I told him I would call him back after I spoke with my husband. He asked me if I wasn't capable of making decisions on my own. That made it very easy for me to make the decision not to use them. Usually when you try to get new customers you don't say things like that. Customer service should be trained in communicating with customers and not being rude to customers. I would not recommend them as long as Nick is answering the phones.

They came out and I didn't have enough spots left open in the panel. They offered to correct this for a cost, but I decided to just do some of the wiring myself. Shortly thereafter we decided to sell that house. We moved then called them (keep in mind this is a year later) and they honored the purchase. Came to the new house, took out the whole home surge protector the builder had installed (as it wasn't as good) and installed the one I purchased in 2011.
