Ultimate Comfort AC & Heating

I called this company request an estimate to add an AC unit to our new home. My first question to them was did they perform work in Washougal, specifically Skamania County. I was assured they did and we set up an appointment time for 5/2/16 at Noon. On the morning of the appointment I contacted the company again just to confirm the appointment since I was taking time off work to drive out to the property. They confirmed the appointment. The property is at mile 12 up the Washougal River Road. There is little to no cell service. I waited for an hour past the appointment time and no one showed. When I returned to an area that had cell service I had a voicemail from someone named Ralph who said in the message that he had looked up my address on a map and that it was "outside their comfort zone for providing services". Extremely unprofessional and cost me 2 hours out of my work day for nothing. I would never, ever do business with this company and I will warn anyone who asks me about them to not do business with them either.

I have been using Ultimate Comfort A/C & Heating for the past couple of years, through my home warranty company, for pre-season A/C and furnace tune-ups. The techs have consistently arrived on time & thoroughly checked my systems. I will continue to request this company for future pre-season checks.

Provider tried to reschedule day of appointment after a 3 week wait from time of setting of appointment. Due to an overwhelming amount of calls. After a 3 week wait, I refused a reschedule. Technician was friendly and went over and above.

Good Fully inspected my 2 units and added refrigerant to 1 unit.

Very well. He was on time and made some recommendations but was not at all pushy or insistent.

We had to use Ultimate Comfort due to our home warranty. Scheduling with them was not convenient at all. They did not show up on time or when they said they would. It took three visits from three separate techs to resolve the issue. In addition to that, they took so long to come back each time that our warranty expired during the process, so getting them to return and fix their own mistakes was even harder. It was not a good experience. Given the choice, I will not use them again.

Had trouble with drainage of water but the owner came out himself to solve the problem.

They called on Saturday and setup an appointment for Monday with a 3 hour window. Ozzy showed up in the middle of the window, went right to work and had our a/c up and running in about 30 minutes. He also called to check on the progress of the a/c around 8pm that evening. Great customer service!

Our home owners warranty company used Ultimate Comfort to confirm the evaporator was leaking which had been identified by another company the warranty company was using. The crew arrived on time and replaced the unit in about four hours. They did a good job of sealing the ducts and cleaning up afterwards.

My Homeowner's Warranty sent this company to my home initially to service my A/C Compressor. Three different technicians were sent to my home over a period of three months. None of the techs did a complete and accurate diagnosis of the entire A/C system. Over three months, I had to have someone from this company to my home at least 10 different times before the entire system was working properly. I had too much invested to change companies midstream or they would not have been back. They told me they were sending their and quot;best crewand quot; to do the work. Their and quot;best crewand quot; made simple and major mistakes and had to make multiple visits to fix problems. One of the crew members fell through my ceiling and made a 3' X 3' hole. Thank goodness he wasn't hurt, but the ceiling had to be repaired. The owner of the company did send an excellent contractor out to repair the damage and I am very pleased with that contractor's work. The last problem was excess humidity in my home. With a new variable speed furnace, this should not have been an issue. The third technician advised that they should have installed a new thermostat with the furnace since my old one did not allow me to control the humidity. They sent someone else out with a new thermostat and he was inept and caused the whole system to shut down. I had to call the office and demand they send the third technician back out to get the system working again and finish installing the thermostat. He also had to call another technician to come and help, but they finally got it working and got the new thermostat installed. So it took three professionals to install a thermostat, which is a job most homeowners can do themselves. My system finally seems to be working properly, but it took too much of my time from work, money, aggravation and frustration to get to this point. The only saving grace of this fiasco is that I found a good contractor that I will use in the future for work on my house. UPDATE: The Owner promised to come and personally inspect the work his crews did. He never returned my calls and I am still waiting on that inspection. The owner did not keep his word and follow through like a true professional.
