Initial measurements were reasonable, the final recommendation was a little different, I called to clarify and they were pretty knowledgeable about what we were seeing from other companies. We had 3 others look at the foundation. Ultimately their strategy and price were the best combo. During the process, their superintendent was very knowledgeable and I call for numerous clarifications, which the super. Was able to answer best. In general the folks running the on site work were very helpful and had a lot of experience. I'll try to report again in a few months to explain how well the work holds up.

The house leveling was different than I expected and created some problems that I didn't think about at the time I chose the contractor. Jacking up the house closed cracks in the interior walls and opened cracks on walls that didn't have problems previously plus placed some doors into a new position that makes it difficult to open/close them. One interior door will have to be manipulated (sand the top) to make it fit as the opening is no longer correct. On the exterior, it opened new cracks in some areas of the brick and closed others While I didn't expect all of these problems, I was forewarned about possible difficulties and did expect some changes. I do not fault the contractor and in fact I found that they were very attentive to our needs and desires.

Jacob came out to the house at our scheduled appointment time and looked at the slab and took some leveling measurements in the house and drew up a diagram showing his leveling results. He assured me that the cracks and chips in the slab were nothing more than cosmetic and there wasn't a need for repairs, which was a relief. He was obviously very honest with his assessment which I truly appreciate, and they gave me a discount for being an Angie's List member. I would definitely hire Two Brothers if need be in the future and will absolutely recommend them as a first choice to anyone in need of foundation inspection/repairs.

I called Two Brothers Foundation Repair to inspect my home for foundation problems. There were some signs of an issue and I wanted to make sure nothing major was wrong. They put me at ease. I own a pier and beam multi-family property inside the loop. When doors began to stick and there were noticeable cracks, I called out the Two Brothers and a couple other big name companies in Houston to perform an inspection. Aaron and Jacob put me most at ease -- they were professional, knowledgeable and competitively priced. They walked me through the repair proposal and educated me as to why it was needed. Jacob even showed me pictures of underneath the house. I went with them for the job. They leveled the home, dug a tunnel and installed 31 new piers. There was always quick and clear communication. I called Two Brothers Foundation Repair and two other companies to look at my foundation for my recently purchased townhome. There were some cracks inside and a door was sticking, which made me concerned. I was put most at ease by TBFR because they were professional, knowledgable and explained everything to me in easily understandable terms. The other two companies were trying to sell me piers for a repair. I will be recommending Two Brothers to anyone I know concerned about their foundation. Jacob let me know that although there was some movement, it was ultimately not necessary at this time to install piers at this time. In contrast to the other foundation companies, Jacob advised that it was best to monitor and maintain my foundation with a controlled watering program. Thank you Two Brothers Foundation Repair!

It went well. The owner drew a diagram and measured around the entire exterior of the house, as well as walked the interior for levelness. He was prompt, thorough and honest. I saw that the measurements were in a "normal" range and that no work was needed at this time. The honesty and integrity goes a long way with me. No question, I will use Two Brothers again when a house that I am listing or that is being purchased needs attention.

These guys and their team are stellar. After contacting them through Angie's, they immediately scheduled a date to assess the foundation - other companies sometimes took days to return a call or schedule. They did measurements both inside and outside the home, and most importantly, asked me where the problem areas were at, and listened to my concerns and any individual aspect I'd noticed about the home that might affect the work to be done. The work estimate was moderate and thoughtful - other companies that assessed our home seemed to propose an all or nothing route to fixing, but Two Brothers took their time and didn't propose for more work than necessary. When discussing payment, I was very impressed that their main concern was that they didn't consider the job finished until they'd met all agreed upon items, and that I was happy with the quality of the work. Their price was excellent as well, and this got them the job. Jacob took the time to explain everything, and I was very happy he also showed what types of after-affects would occur to the house after foundation work. Everyone expects some changes, but he pinpointed what would change and where. He stuck to his estimate and kept his work dates, contacting me before, during and after work completion. Guillermo and his workers came and walked through what work was going to be done, and kept me informed of any changes, delays and progress. They worked very hard, and did a fantastic job at cleaning up and repairing any immediate (but expected) changes that occurred. Everyone was polite, focused, and I felt they treated my home as if they were working on their own. Foundation repair can cause a home owner all sorts of nightmares, but these guys come from a family history of doing foundation repairs in Texas (and everything that brings!) and their quality and expertise show. It was a two day procress and it went great. The crew took the time to explain what was going and ensured that the house was completed correctly and securely. They also cleaned up very well. Very satisfied.

Jacob and Aaron Lipman own this foundation repair company. We had our foundation repaired after finding out there were foundation problems when the house was inspected prior to selling it. We found them through our realtor. They responded very quickly and exhibited extreme professionalism. They came within a couple of days to assess the foundation and confirmed what the structural engineer with the inspection company said. They started work a few days later and it took a total of six days to complete the work. They worked every day tirelessly until completion (except Sunday!). The crew supervisor, Guillermo, has 20 years of experience in foundation repair. Aaron came by during the job to oversee the work and Jacob and Aaron were always immediately accessible via phone. The entire crew was prompt, courteous and respectful. They cleaned up the work area at the end of each work day. At the end of the project the work was certified by a respected Houston structural engineer. Our new home buyer will have a lifetime transferable foundation warranty on his new home. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs foundation repair!

Very well. One of the owners, Jacob, inspected the exterior of our home and took electronic elevation measurements throughout our downstairs. We had set up the inspection due to a crack running about 10 feet though our bathroom resulting in several cracked tiles. In Jacob's opinion, this was due to normal settling and repairs by his company were not required. This was backed up by his elevation measurements indication very little differences in the elevation of the slab in any area. The best news was that there was no charge for this analysis even though Jacob spent at least 45 minutes here. He is polished and professional. They will keep his analysis and measurements on file in case we ever need them to return.

Wonderful! My husband and I are in the process of buying a home which we were concerned had foundation issues. Two Brothers was able to send someone out right away to evaluate and put our mind at ease. They were very communicative, friendly, and helpful!

It was a terrific experience. Aaron and Jacob (the two brothers) are top-notch. They were professional, competent, fair, personable, respectful, etc. The initial inspection was free and the bid was more than reasonable. There's a ton of contractors out there who use shady practices. Two Brothers ain't one of 'em. As for the guys who did the actual work, my only mild complaint is they consistently ran a little behind schedule. But that's just because they were driving all the way to the other side of Houston. Hard to blame 'em. The guys worked hard, answered my questions, did quality work, and left the job site in good shape. What I'm trying to say is this: I'm a bit of a curmudgeon by nature, but I highly recommend Two Brothers Foundation Repair.

I needed a foundation estimate for a potential real estate transaction. Two Brothers came out the very next day, measured, and were exceptionally prompt to answer all my questions and emails. The sellers had their preferred big name company come out to measure and the measurements did not match up. An independent structural engineer then measured the house and concluded Two Brothers were the company that matched up with what actually needed to be done. I was told if the other company were to work on the house, it would cause further damage!! The sale of the home did not work out unfortunately because the sellers insisted their people do the work. If EVER anyone I know needs a foundation repair company, I would ONLY recommend Two Brothers Foundation. They were reasonably priced, knowledgeable in their field, prompt, courteous, and kind. Sometimes it really pays to support a smaller business who values giving better customer service and takes pride in their work, rather than slap a well-known brand on a half thought-out quote.

The project went exactly as they had told us it would go. The timeline was identical to what we were told, the crew was efficient, pleasant to work with, and professional. The owners were very involved and very responsive. No complaints whatsoever. I would recommend them to anyone.

Overall it went excellent. In our wrap up discussions I passed on the following to Aaron: The very good: 1. Price 2. Professionalism of the Brothers - very responsive and on location every day 3. The lead hand doing the work 4. Sense of trust they instilled Suggestions for improvement: 1. More realistic timeframes for completion (some of the overrun was down to weather) 2. Clean-up. The two hands he had doing clean up were poor workers and it was delaying close out. To Aaron's credit, he took my complaints absolutely on board, got additional crew members and those two hands are no longer working for Aaron.

Jacob came on time and provided a very honest assessment of my foundation problem. . . instead of taking my money and running with it. . . he provided me with correct information and guided me in the right direction, which was more of a cosmetic problem then to tear out my whole garage access door frame. Just because of the communication with these guys, and how accommodating they were. . . and to top it off REFUND my money, I would HIGHLY recommend them. THANK YOU AGAIN!

I got bids from 3 companies. The bids from the first 2 were very high, they were so high that and one of them even offered financing! I was giving up hope and almost hired the higher-priced company since they had a good reputation until a realtor recommended Two Brothers Company (TBC) and the rest is history. The bid from TBC was the last bid and was much lower and did not include any work in the interior of the house (the other two wanted to rip the inside apart to fix the foundation). All work by TBC was done from outside by tunneling underneath the house; this was something that the other contractors said I would want to stay away from but they were WRONG. Tunneling worked out best. The house interior was not damaged and we didn't have to do anything. It all boils down to expertise. The tunneling was performed by people who knew how to do this work and were great at it. Of course the two brothers did not do the tunneling but they had people who knew how to do it. The workers worked non-stop in the cold February weather and finished the job in only 1 day. They built tunnels underneath the house and put posts to support the weight of the house by digging the ground and pushing in the soil 2' concrete blocks stacked on top of each other down to 30 to 40 feet until it wouldn't go any further. Don't ask me how they did it but there is a video which I don't have to post but I saw it with my own eyes that about a 4' high by several feet wide tunnel was dug underneath the house and posts were placed at several feet apart, it was like the house was on pedestals. All of this work was done at a fraction of the cost of the other bid. So now the cracks on the walls have disappeared and I just have to get the damaged walls painted. As for the service provided by the company I have to say that the attention given to my project was outstanding. I could not be happier and could not ask for more courteous and fine gentlemen for this job. They provided the service with a cherry on top. It is not always that you find such wonderful people to work on your house but if you need to fix your foundation then hire the two brothers at the Two Brothers Company. You will be happy you did.
