Steve never showed up for the first appointment to give us an estimate for the job. He never gave us a call back either.

Steve gave me a hand selecting the house and shutter colors. He was very patient and attentive. His crew did a great job. They were very professional and neat. THey powerwashed one day and painted the next. Finished ahead of schedule. I would definately recommend him and plan to contact him again when I have more projects.

I called Steve and had a written estimate from him before the summer. I then got busy with family illness. Steve was patient and kept in touch. I might not have this project started had he not kept up with it. This project involved many items and took more than 10 days to complete. Steve checked in everyday, sometimes several times a day, to be sure all were done well. In general, he has a crew of 2-3 people for exterior work. Another crew of 2-3 people for interior work. The crew are punctual and friendly. Though they could not communicate fully in English, they were able to understand me when I have some suggestions. They also offered to do a few additional items, such as adjusting the gate and painting the stairway wall. I provided bottle water for the crew everyday and decided to compensate them for the additional work they did. Steve is personable and easy to communicate with. Throughout the project there were a lot of communication with Steve and the crew from specifics about the paint to fixing some bad job done by the previous painter. Steve is willing to listen and accommodate. The crew also took time to fix lot's of detail work. It's a job well done.

When I contacted Steve (Owner) I made an appointment for him to come out and give me an estimate. We had to reschedule the date as his truck broke down, but he did call to let me know that he could not make it. Two days later he came by as promised and I explained what I wanted done, and after looking at the building he was able to give me a verbal estimate on the spot, which was followed up by one via email. Work started on the day agreed, with very minor hiccups experienced during the course of the project, all of which were addressed promptly by Steve and his crew. He was in touch with me on a daily basis either by phone or in person when he visited the work site. His crew was always on time, and they not only did a great job on the siding (looks like new) they also did a great job cleaning up the site of construction debris. I am very pleased with the job done by Turner Enterprisers.

Everything in the quote was done. The job took a crew of four two weeks to complete. They were on time and worked through each day with very few breaks.

Steve Turner and his crew began the interior painting of our home on September 19th and completed the work on September 29th. The paint team arrived in the mornings between 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. and worked until between 5:00 - 5:30 p.m. each afternoon. They started on time and worked very hard all day with little down time. They also worked well and appeared to have a very good professional relationship with Steve Turner. The team was very detail oriented, kept their work areas orderly, and were extremely careful and dedicated to their work. The paint team was very respectful, kind, trustworthy and worked very hard to acheive excellence in customer satisfaction. Me and my husband are overwhelmingly pleased with the superior experience with Steve Turner and his crew from Turner Enteprises. We would not hesitate to use their services again!!!!

I called the number listed to set up an appointment for an estimate on siding repair or replacement. The phone rang and someone answered the line on the other end "hello". I responded "is this Turner Enterprise?", to which he replied "yes it is". First of all, this is a very unprofessional approach to answering a potential clients call. I decided to go ahead and schedule an appointment for the estimate anyways. We set it for saturday at 11:00 AM. At 11:25 AM saturday morning, Steve called me to say that he would like to re-schedule for monday because he was up all night vomiting from what he thinks was food poisining. A person should not call after the appointment time to ask for a re-schedule. If he knew at 9:00 or 10:00 or even 10:45 that he was not going to make it, a call to the client is necessary. My comment to Steve was "don't worry about re-scheduling, if this is any indication of the work you will be performing, i'm not interested". He shot right back " Good, i didn't want to come estimate it anyway".

We were at the end of a three month long remodel of our upstairs and were almost to the painting phase when our contractors stopped showing up to work. Steve Turner at Turner Enterprises and his team of painters saved us when we fired the previous contractors and needed someone to come in and finish the job. I called Steve and he came out the same day to look at the project and give us an estimate. The price was fair (in the middle of the pack), and they were able to start within a few days of the initial meeting. The original time estimate was for four to five days. The team of three guys spent the first two days doing all of the prep work since there was a mix of old and new woodwork that required patching and caulking to make it look right and blend together. After that they made quick work of priming and painting all of the woodwork, new doors, new windows (inside and out) and walls. The bulk of the work took a couple of days longer than the original estimate but I appreciate the time they spent with the details so it was worth it. The trim and wainscoting look like new and they were able to match the color with the trim in the rest of the house. We had a new built-in desktop installed and they stained that to match perfectly to our existing furniture. As it turns out, the piece of wood our cabinet maker used was a cheap piece of plywood and was very weak and soft. The stain quickly cracked and chipped because of the poor quality of wood and the lack of support at the seam (no fault of the painters). After we had the desktop reinforced so the seam wouldn?t crack again, Steve?s team came out again to help us out. They sanded off the existing stain and sanded out some of the dents. Then they stained it again, and put on a special product that would help prevent it from chipping or cracking. This was by far above and beyond what the original estimate called for. Also, we had seven new doors on order that were all supposed to arrive before the painters were scheduled to begin, and unfortunately the order was delayed for various reasons. Most of the doors ended up arriving prior to the completion of the painting, so they primed and painted those doors and hung them for us. The remaining doors came in one by one over the next few weeks, and his painters came out each time to paint them for us, again helping us out and going above what they originally signed up for. The only complaint I have is that I had to ask Steve and his team several times to repaint the stairway walls. Steve had recommended that I buy a different type of paint because the first coat they did was with a cheap paint I had bought and didn't cover well. He said they would use the new paint on the next coat so there would be no difference in color or texture. They ended up just using the cheap stuff again instead so when I later touched up some scuffs with the new paint, I was able to see all of the lines. It took a couple of different trips and conversations to get this corrected but in the end it looks ok. I would recommend these guys and would use them for any large painting needs in the future.

The job went great and they did a good job. They did a really nice job preparing all of the surfaces that they were going to paint. They spent a really long time making sure that everything was ready.

Steve and his crew were punctual and offered interesting ideas. His crew were meticulous in cleaning all outside areas before leaving for the day. The neighbors all commented on friendly attitude of all involved.

The job was performed in a professional manner beginning on a Monday with a power wash and the job being completed on Friday.

Steve's crew did a great job - Their craftsmanship was top notch. We needed extensive caulking to fill in crevices in some old cedar siding before the paint went on, and they did a very thorough job. We are pleased with the final product and would call Steve again without hesitation - Thanks Steve!

What a complete jerk! I called to ask for a quote for a fence to go around our pool and his response was "Yeah I am not going to do that. Call a pool company or somebody else." I hung up immediately and will never call this company ever again. If he would have been more polite I would have been able to tell him that I was also looking to put a vinyl fence all the way around our 5 acre propoerty as well as repaint our house. Forget working with him on anything!

I called and scheduled an estimate with Steve without any problems. He arrived on time and I told him what the goal of the painting was. The house had been on the market for a few months so the realtor had suggested a fresh painting of the main downstairs area with a neutral yet non-white color to try to spark things up a little. After conveying the goals, he took a look at the downstairs areas and suggested which walls should be painted and why. Other bidding companies just came in and said, "Where do you want us to paint," and never had any suggestions. He gave me a fair estimate... they weren't the absolute cheapest but were definitely in the pack. Steve's attitude and suggestions about the job made him seem more like a consultant who was not just concerned with painting walls, but wanted to make sure our goals for the paint job were accomplished. That's what separated them from the pack and won them the business. It was a day and a half job so Steve called toward the end of the first day and gave us a progress report. The paint crew finished up the following day so we came out a day later to look at the finished product. They did a fantastic job! They did a great job with all the edge work by the baseboards and along the ceiling. The only complaint we had was that the crew left a couple drink bottles in the house and were a little messy when cleaning their brushes. It wasn't a huge mess to clean up but when I told Steve about it the next day, he was so upset he actually gave us a discount on the job because of our inconvenience! That was a huge surprise! Overall, they did a fantastic job and will be the first company we call when we are ready to paint our current home.

He was polite, cordial, and professional. I would recommend him to others.

Did well. They went a little overboard on the pressure washing, but, they did a good job for me and the house looks good. They also did not get paint everywhere, but rather only where it needed to be--on the house. I would recommend Steve and his crew and I have already told my neighbors about him. I will use him again for my interior work.

Very professional with his walk-through and explained exactly what they were going to do and what they weren't going to. Talked to Jim (the owner) every day about the progress of the work and he also came by to do check-ups on the progress. They were able to do touch-ups and match areas perfectly which was a big savings in time and money. Only small concern I had was the lack of English speaking among the crew but honestly it was never an issue. They were in and out and couldn't have been more respectful of our things or our neighborhood. A number of our neighbors commented that they couldn't tell when they were here or not as they never heard anything. Job time frame quoted was right on the money and MUCH faster then other quotes I had received.

Steve Turner is 100% focused on customer satisfaction. I hired his team to paint my wrought-iron exterior railings, pressure wash the exterior of the house, refinish my front door, fix the front door stoop, and install bird spikes over my front door. The work was done in a timely, professional manner. There were a couple of areas I needed retouched and Steve and his team were quick to respond and perform the work. I found it very easy to work with Steve and would hire him again.

Came out and gave bid for painting entire house and stucco only. Decided to only paint stucco. Had to wait a few days for Steve to finish a few jobs before he could send a crew to my house. Rain delayed painting a few days. Steve called to inform me of delays. Did a fantastic job of refinishing the front door. After painting was completed, I noticed small cracks had not been filled before painting. Steve sent someone out at my convenience to correct the problem. Steve was occassionally slow to return phone calls, but overall I was very happy with his work.

The completed all the work in less than a week and handled any issues that arose with professionalism. Steve maintained continuous communication with me and was on-site at least once a day and usually more than that. Excellent overall service, price, and finished product. Turner Enterprises is the type of company that Angie's List was created for.

The project went very efficiently from start to finish. The workers were respectful of propert and hardworking in spite of the extremely hot weather.

Original estimate of job was 3 days to complete work. Crew came out on Wednesday and Thursday to complete exterior of house - pressure wash with bleach solution, caulk the seams of the hardy plank, then paint the house. When I showed up Thursday evening the house looked great - could not see a seam in the hardy plank and paint job was good. I got up on the roof and looked at the areas that were hard to see from the ground, and they were treated with the same care as the doors and windows on the first floor. On Friday, Steve came and walked the interior job with myself and the worker completing the job to make sure we were on the same page with the work being done. Turns out the initial time was a little larger than original estimate. Work was to be completed over Friday and half a day on Saturday. Over those two days, the caulk applied by the builder was stripped from the baseboards and they were repainted - the crew did a good job of making sure that the carpet/tile floor were protected and did not leave behind any paint residue. The window sill they replaced looked even better than the original - they even caulked a seam that the builder missed to provide an additional barrier for water entry. They refinished the front door in place - the job was so good it looked like they took it to a shop and spend 2 days on it instead of the few hours it took Steve's team. At the end of Saturday, there were still some items that were not completed - mainly the trim around the doors and the drywall patchwork on the ceiling. I called Steve and let him know that the work was not finished, and he offered to distrupt the planned schedule he had for Monday to get the work done. Rather than do that, we scheduled the work to be completed on Thursday the following week. Steve personally came out on Thursday to make sure that he knew what needed to be fixed and that I was happy with the work being done. The trim and drywall repairs were completed without a problem. During this time Steve and I went over some jobs I was planning on doing myself, he offered up a few tips on how it could be done easier event though he knew I was going to do it myself. I really appreciated that. Overall, the quality of work was fantastic. I was very pleased with the work that was done, and with Steve's response to get another day scheduled when the scope of work ran outside the original estimated timeline - it showed that he cared about the quality of work being done and valued that over keeping a schedule. I thank Steve and his crew for their dedication to quality.

Steve and his crew painted the exterior of our house and every positive review on Angie's List was absolutely true. What a great guy and what a great job! The house looks wonderful and Steve made it all so easy. Several times I would say, "Steve, what would you do?" and he was right there with a recommendation - I love that. Not only would I hire him again in a minute, I've already recommended Turner Enterprises to several of my friends. This guy's the real deal.
