In order to keep my wife and my homeowner's association happy, I contacted three painting contractors through Angie's List for bids to repaint the exterior of my home. Our home is 15 yrs. old and hasn't been repainted since new, so I admit it was time. Steve contacted me within hours of submitting my email request for bid and set an appointment to come bid my job. I was quite surprised that all three of my bids were within a couple hundred dollars of one another, Steve's was the middle bid. I would have selected Steve even if his bid had been the highest, I got the best feeling from my meeting with him and made the decision to go with Turner Enterprises on the spot. Steve's crew arrived on day 1 to pressure wash the house, and then made a list of materials needed to replace all the rotten wood that was exposed by the pressure washing. All rotted fascia boards as well as the trim boards on two upstairs windows and my chimney were to be replaced with Hardie Trim to eliminate this problem in the future. Day 2 the crew arrived and began the wood repairs and caulking and prep work. My house has full gutters, and almost every corner of the house had rotted fascia that required them to work around and under the gutters to replace the fascia. They did an outstanding job and didn't damage any of the guttering in the process. The repair work was extensive enough that it took the entire day. On day 3 the house was painted and the job completed. The crew lead reviewed the job with me and made sure I was satisfied with the work at the end of the job. The house looks great, and I couldn't be happier with the work they did. They showed up on time, worked hard, and did what they said they were going to do. What more could you ask for? The crew picked up the work area each day, and were all very polite and respectful. Steve obviously has a great group of guys working for him. Steve used all quality products for my job, Hardie Trim to replace wood, 40 yr. caulking, and Sherwin Williams SuperPaint. No cheap products or shortcuts here. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the job his crew did, and would hire them again in a heartbeat for any future painting work.

A+ WORK! Steve Turner and his crew did an excellent job for us. We couldn't be more pleased. Steve was quick to respond to any requests. The workmen were careful and professional at all times. And, their work product was exceptional. We have paid much more in the past for work that was not as good. They were flexible in scheduling, too. They returned to finish the painting after minor construction inside was finished. Steve made sure that only that work which was necessary was done to our satisfaction. And, he made some suggestions of work that wasn't necessary in order to save us money. Great job! Don't hesitate to hire this company!

Mr. Turner was very amenable to not starting on the agreed-upon date because the weather forecast predicted high winds. Three days later, a crew of two men came the first day to prep. This included caulking, light cleaning of some areas, and hammering many nail heads down to be completely flush with the Hardie board siding. The next day a crew of three painted. All of the men were polite and professional. One man painstakingly took apart three outdoor light fixtures so he could paint the metal areas and made them look better than new. We had them go over a few areas before they left for the day. We are very happy with the results.

We contacted 4 best rating Angie’s list vendors; Turner Enterprise’s price came 2nd best in price. We decided to go with them because they said they had many men to work and could finish the job before the New Year, and they also did wood stain. We have a den with ceiling beams which we wanted new wood stain; and the crew leader did a very good job restaining them. They started the job before Christmas and came back after the holiday break to finish on December 28th. After they completed the work, we discovered areas that were not completed as they left several spots unpainted or without texture. In some other areas, the texture didn’t stick to the surface. The retouch crew didn't complete the work very well the first time; for example, they missed painting or applying texture on a few spots still. So we called again, Mr. Turner came to inspect, and sent a crew to come back to correct these glitches. We also had to wait this time as the crew leader went on vacation and they also had other work engagements in the mean time. Otherwise the painting crews were very polite and courteous. Generally their work was good. There were some glitches but we are glad that these issues were resolved in pretty good terms. We appreciate Turner Enterprise for standing behind their service.

They were extremely timely. Returned my first inquiry email within 15 minutes and rearranged schedule to meet and provide estimate within 3 days. They were able to start the job within 2 weeks and when we were ready for them they happily slipped the start date to accommodate us. The job did take a few days longer than estimated but we were out of town and were not pushing for completion. I think they would have worked whatever hours required to meet a schedule. The job is almost flawless. There is one very small section of one loft ladder that did not get a complete coat, but you can't see it unless you're climbing down from the loft in an atypical manner. We obtained more than one quote for having our house painted, and Steve's was the best value. His crew was prompt, courteous and professional. The work is top-notch and I would not hesitate to refer the company to others--in fact, I have already given out his name to the realtor who sold us the house so she can send more business his way.

Steve runs a good business. He returned my call the same day, & scheduled the job to satisfy my timeline. The job was completed in a week. I was very satisfied with the work & clean-up.

It is almost a year since the work was done, but we couldn't be happier. Called and compared three painters - one was very highly priced, with an artistic bent, second missed the appointed meeting, even though he came recommended. Chose Steve initially based on excellent AngiesList reviews, his enthusiasm, lowest price, and the perennial can-do attitude, without being condescending or trying to make a quick buck at every turn. His team is excellent, and Tacho, despite not knowing much English, is a master craftsman, who understood our issues well by a mixture of sign language and bad (our) Spanglish. Despite a delay from 3-week to almost 6 weeks due to rain and other reasons, we became friends and were actually sad when the project ended. It is very hard to rave about contractors like this, but I mean everything I say here, and we were happy to give Steve a good $100 tip in the end (which even he was surprised by). For us, the whole experience was headache free though we had some worries at times, but they were addressed quickly by Steve and his team. One issue was choice of color - there can be so many variations and combinations that it can get overwhelming. Steve gave his advice while trying to go with our picky tastes. At one time, he came to the rescue when we chose a really bad color, and decided to repaint the doors if we paid for the paint. We were very pleased as sometimes the colors look different from what you think they will look like in brochures and stores. We went with a 4-color scheme. We had wanted to install an AC in our garage - Steve had prior experience in this, so this came very handy as he was willing to assemble a good team of electricians, etc, to get the job done. Great job again. The expense of $8,000 is high partly due to the AC and install costs. At the end, after one week, for some reason, the paint had started showing cracks (some one else had pictures on AngiestList) with that problem. So we called Steve and expressed our disappointment. He came, and said it is because of the house settling. He asked Tacho to re-caulk and paint parts (large parts) of the house again at no extra expense. This time the paint stayed and has so for almost one year. Steve also believe in one layer of paint, and spray-painting - we had concerns about that initially but so far it seems things are fine. All in all, we are VERY happy that we hired Steve and consider him a good friend, and call him every once in a while when we need recommendations on other good contractors/vendors or some other advice. Being very busy, it is sometimes hard to get email replies from him, or sometimes he may seem to be in a rush, but he does listen to you, if you catch him and nicely explain to him what is bothering you. We recommend Steve without reservations.

Turned enterprises did a great job. Have had many compliments. They were here when they said and completed the job on time. Would be happy to use him again.

The week went VERY smoothly. We had planned the week well in advance (due to frequent travels). The team arrived on Monday morning as scheduled and worked everyday for 5 full workdays and finished in the late afternoon of Friday as scheduled. I didn't feel at all that they were rushing but working at a good pace to ensure things were done properly as they went along. There were 4-6 guys working at any given time so they had a really organized flow. The guys were all really nice and engaging and I enjoyed speaking with them throughout the week. They seemed to take pride in the work they were doing and at the end expressed their admiration for the work they had done. I couldn't agree more, the house looks AMAZING!! We've already had neighbors coming by saying something about it (some we didn't even know). We look forward to Steve and his team to come back again sometime to help us with more projects!! We HIGHLY recommend Turner Enterprises!!

They were here when they said they would be here. They painted and left no mess or disturbed any of the plants outside my house. They were very professional and knowledgeable. Also, living in a sub-division, we have restrictions regarding the colors we could use and they were very good at matching the paint with what was within those guidelines. I was very pleased with their service.

Our experience in working with Steve and his team was exceptional. I contacted Steve for an exterior painting estimate, and he got back to me the same day. He arrived right on time for the estimate and indicated that he could start the work the following week. My husband and I discussed it, and decided to go with Steve. His team started the week before Christmas and finished soon after the New Year (as expected). We have a two-story, approximately 3200 square foot house and a detached garage. The painters were very careful in their work and did an excellent job. They arrived at work on time and consistently. They were neat and careful and happy to fix minor touch up issues that we pointed out. Although we initially only contracted with Steve for exterior painting, we ended up having them wrap three back porch posts in cedar, install a door to the garage, and fix some damage in out guest bedroom that our dog caused. All of the work has been beautiful and we couldn't be happier! Also, Steve was incredibly accessible and responsive throughout the entire process. We have already recommended him to others, and would use him again without hesitation!

Steve was professional thoughout the bid process and implementation of the work, and corrected any problems when he was notified of them. His crew was professional and thorough in their prep and painting. After more than 8 months the fence still looks like new, and we are very pleased with the result. We would highly recommend Turner Enterprises for exterior painting.

Steve Turner came personally to provide an estimate. We set a start date and his painters started on time. Steve was comunicative through the whole process and his painters we very professional and courteous. We divided the work into three distinct projects and paid as each project was completed. Steve came frequently to inspect the work.

Arrived for the quote late but did inform me he would be late. The project was pretty extensive and he was only in my home for about 5 minutes. For 2.5 of those minutes he was on his cell phone with someone. We felt like we were wasting his time. If a contractor does not want a job for what ever reason I wish they would just say so before wasting everyone's time. I have yet to receive a follow up phone call or the quote

I was having trouble finding someone to do it at a reasonable price so I turned to Angie's List for help. I looked for a contractor with excellent reviews and after a couple of them turned down the job I came across Turner Enterprises. Steve was professional and gave me a bid at a reasonable price. His crews were efficient and extremely friendly. The job was completed quicker than I thought possible and I am a very satisfied customer. Don't hesitate to call this company for your painting needs.

Mr. Turner came to my home the next day after I called and then provided me a written estimate the following day. Since I was unsure whether to paint or stain my home which was primarily cedar, I appreciated Mr. Turner's expertise and suggestions. He was very thorough in evaluating all the work that was needed. The stain colors which were chosen were perfectly matched to what my wife wanted. The house was pressure washed, rotten wood replaced, and then stained. His crew showed up on schedule and did excellent work. I was kept informed concerning every step. The cost of the job was very fair for the amount of work that was completed. I would not hesitate to use Mr. Turner again. He did an outstanding job and I highly recommmend him. .

I am very happy with the work performed by Steve's company. They did a great job matching the texture; you can't tell where the repairs were made. The guys were very concerned with doing a good job and responded well if I pointed something out that wasn't the way I wanted it. Steve's price was higher than I would have liked but he wasn't the highest quote I had received. Overall, the job went well and I'm very happy with the results.

VERY bad experience. Called to have some repair work done. He was a no show. When I called him 10 minutes after the scheduled appointment time, I had an incredible response. He'd forgotten he was playing golf today, and he'd "called and called" me to let me know. My caller IDs (home and cell phones) show one missed call from Steve Turner. It was yesterday, and he'd left a message saying only who he was -- he left no phone number, didn't ask me to return a call, left no message that he'd have to reschedule, nothing at all. Frankly, I thought he was just calling to confirm. When Mr. Turner repeated on the phone that he'd "called and called" me, I responded that I've been home and have seemed to miss no calls except for the one message from yesterday. His response was incredibly, "YOU KNOW WHAT? I DON'T NEED THIS." He's right. He obviously doesn't need the business. And he doesn't need any positive recommendation. I have no problem if a repair person or a doctor needs to reschedule -- I had already had to reschedule this appointment. But I have a problem when someone doesn't let me know that he's not going to show, and then turns it around and blames me for not getting notified when I have to call him. Very unprofessional and reliable.

Overall Steve and his crew did great job. We wanted to paint a bed room before Christmas. So called Steve, he came and gave estimate for bed room paint and front door refinish. We liked the price, asked him to fix a day to work in it before Christmas. He accommodated our request and completed on time. In addition he helped a lot to move around beds and assemble it. We very much appreciate his help.
