Description of Work: Had to have ceiling sheetrock repaired after air conditioner problem. Turner Enterprises did a great job coming in after another contractor made a mess of the job. They matched the ceiling texture exactly and painted the room. They cleaned up after the job. Steve Turner and his team did great work.

Description of Work: Painted outside of the house. Quality was poor as painters constantly rushed to get the job done quickly and move on. Preparation inadequate and sometimes non-existant.

Description of Work: Washed and painted outside. Patching and extensive touch-up inside. We were very satisfied with the crew. They were careful working inside and cleaned up every day before they left. It was much less disruptive than I anticipated. They did everything we wanted and made adjustments we requested along the way. Our usual painter was not available. I needed someone quickly, and I had to work out the details with scope of work, etc., while I was out of town. So, I picked a highly rated contractor off of Angie's list and took my chances. Because of time constraints, I was not able to get multiple quotes, so I did not rate them on cost. I would definitely use them again. They were easy to work with, and the work was done to our satisfaction.

Description of Work: Turner Enterprises finished painting our house yesterday and we could not be more pleased with the outcome. We got multiple bids however we chose Turner because of suggestions he made that others would simply not do. Mr Turner and those who work with him are very responsive, courteous, and professional. They showed up promtly finsihed the job sooner than I thought and did a professional job. I would definitely use Turner Enterprises in the future.

Description of Work: Called company to arrage appointment for estimate on outside painting. Gentleman requested a lunch time appointment for following week for him to avoid traffic on freeway. I agreed & left work on specified date. Stayed at home for 1 hour. He was a "no show" also no call to offer excuse - late, traffic, lost or whatever. Would not recommend even to obtain estimate.

Description of Work: Steve was great! the workers came and did there work without getting in the way. The work was top notch and if there was any concerns, Steve was right on it. The only issue was not showing up when expected, but that was minor. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Description of Work: I had an estimate for exterior painting from Steve. He communicated effectively, gave a competitive bid (middle of 3 bids), answered questions and clarified his bid when asked. I had no reservations about him or his bid. I opted to use another painter based on a lower price and good recommendations. I will not hesitate to ask Steve for bids on future work, and have no reason to believe he wouldn't be successful.

Description of Work: I had called Steve Turner regarding two issues in my house, a leak around some glass brick windows on the second story and a second window leak in our house. I explained on our initial phone call that he would need a ladder, as this window was at the very top of a second story on a three story home and that was the only way he could see it. I had potentially wanted bids for this leak, but also for a bid to do all the windows on the house. He agreed and made a time to come. He rescheduled this date and time 2 more times for me and when he came on the third reschedule, he did not bring a ladder. He then explained that he would have to "send a guy out" to look at it during the week, but assured me that it would be easy and inexpensive to fix. I was disappointed, as I had already received another bid who said that, upon inspection of the exterior, this was a problem that had already been repaired incorrectly at least 2 other times (unbeknownst to us) and was more complicated than a simple "caulk and seal it." It also involved some stucco and grout for these glass windows, and so was more problematic. Steve stated that his guy would come take a look "sometime that week" and I received a call a couple of days later that a guy was on his way with a ladder..."Oh and you can just pay him." I stated that this was to complete our estimate, not to necessarily do the job. Steve became angry and said, "well then he's not coming!" We then went around in an argument with him stating that he had seen the job (from the inside of the house) and me stating that he never looked to see what the problem was on the exterior--after I had told him that he would need a ladder he never brought one. Steve was very curt and I thought unprofessional in his handling of my call. I was dissatisfied with his handling of the situation. If he thought the job was too small, or not worth his time to do a formal estimate, then he could have said so...but I thought it was inappropriate to reschedule me as he did 2 other times and then still not have the proper equipment to evaluate the problem that I have asked him about. Finally, I thought he was not very professional with how he handled me as a potential client, and so I will not use him in the future.

Description of Work: After(3)weeks of saying that he would give me an estimate to replace and paint a 100X52' picket fence at my house, he left a voice mail saying the job was too small. Is $5,000 too small for a fence? His attitude on the phone was condescending to say the least. A real jerk. I would never recommend this guy to anyone. I called another company twice to get an estimate on roofing my wrap around porch and nothing happened even after I spoke to Rep personally and he said he would take care of it. Another company said he had (6) houses under construction and could not help me on both jobs.
