Jim is a real pro. He was responsive throughout, was communicative throughout the project, and finished on time and right on budget. We are very happy with his work and have referred him to another friend. The project included removal of sheetrock from our second floor with installation of balisters, a railing, and a set of French Doors. (See Below)

Jim is a good man and so are the guys on his team. He quoted my fair price for several jobs, and I can honestly say I felt totally comfortable with his guys being in my home when I wasn’t there. The quality of the work they did was exactly what I was hoping for. I had them help me turn my dining room into a nursery for my little girl and it looks beautiful and my wife is so proud of how it turned. I will definitely give Jim and his team my business for future projects.

Came to my house, discussed in detail what needed to be done, along with dimensions and drawings, received detailed quote, which was on the expensive side compared to other quotes. Tried for 2 months to get work scheduled and they kept giving me the run around. After 2 months called Jim the owner, who then tried to raise the price. Terrible.

First of all this job request did not come thru Angie's List this was from a referral. First discussion was between her and my carpenter. They discussed what she wanted to do with cabinets and a price was stated. However, when I went to talk to discuss the job changes were made to the job which increased the prices. I explained the increase in price but customer said no. Customer wanted to add changes to the job that would increase price in materials, labor, etc., however wanted it at the same price. I told customer the job could not be done at the lower price and it would end up costing me money to do the job, therefore did not do job.

The initial meeting went great, Jim had some good ideas. The price while higher than other bids seem reasonable because we were told the workmanship and materials would be superior. However it turns out workmanship is not so good. The tile is cracking and mortar splitting and I am concerned water will get into the walls and cause mold.

I'm here to respond to negative d report. First of all this job had been completed sometime in late or early July of 2016. The picture customer sent reveals a large crack in the tile which indicates possibly some slab movement, possibly caused by 1 or more floors since then. Also the grouted joint separation. I'm very curious why I'm just now getting a report. I was never contacted or notified of any problem, so this is the first I've heard of a problem, or seen a picture. If the customer would had let me know that we had a problem, we would have gladly came out to investigate, and if legimate situation, would have surely made the necessary repairs without question. I feel this negative review is not justified. Repairs cannot be done if we don't know about them. If customer doubts my sincerity, please show proof that they attempted to contact me. I ask all potential customers to check my reviews before and after, and I'm sure you'll see thru this particular customer. I've bee doing this for 45 years and would not jeopodize my reputation for something as trivial as a tile repair. Just goes no matter how good you are or how hard you try. You just can't please every customer. But I'll keep trying. I will and always have taken care of the few problems we have had, good, but not perfect. Thanks to all who read this.

Jim and his team did a fantastic job from beginning to end. From the first appointment to the last last punch list item, they were friendly, punctual, and tidy. Trust is not easily obtained but we quickly grew to trust Jim and his team and highly recommend them to anyone who is considering a remodel of this magnitude. The footprint of the area remained the same but we gutted it and replaced everything. Attention to detail was phenomenal. We purchased some upgraded materials and fixtures to get exactly the result we wanted. Great job!

Jim's crew did a great job. I was impressed with their attention to detail and making sure the job was done right. Hope to be calling them back in the near future to work on our kitchen.
Job went great. We had several different crews (Demo, carpenters, sheetrock, painters, granite installers) that worked on the project at different times and each was very professional and friendly. The outcome was exactly what we were hoping for. The cabinet was custom built and the crew did a great job was making the wall look like the old fireplace was never there. Jim was always on top of things and we are 100% satisfied..Great job guys!!!!

Tri-Way did a great job on both projects...we bundled them together and they were both completed on time and very professionally..will definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Cabinet rebuilding in garage and small siding replacement job.
It went extremely well. We had been told about so many bad experiences from our friends. We felt blessed that our experience with remodeling did not match those stories. The workers were very professional, knowledgeable, and trust worthy. They kept us involved in the process along the way so there were no misunderstandings. Being new to remodeling, this was extremely helpful to be able to make decisions as the work progressed. When needed, they tidied up at the end of each day. They communicated their work schedules and always followed through. They focus on quality and not on a rush job. I feel like our new shower is a work of art, once it was completed. Would definitely consider them for future projects and highly recommend them to first time remodelers. Side note to first timers. There is the cost of the remodel, but also a separate cost for your plumbing fixtures, lighting, mirrors etc. that you will shop for.

It was a big, complex job. I understood this going in, as we've been through this process before. Also, I have a background in construction and DIY projects. From our first meeting, Jim Lupo filled me with confidence that he could and would do this job correctly. He never let me down. Jim came armed with hundreds of pictures of past jobs and an impressive list of positive reviews on Angie's List. In fact, we interviewed another well-reviewed contractor beside Jim. Jim's price was about the same, but his experience and honesty won our business. I have not been dissappointed and would call him again in an instant. The price Jim quoted is the price I paid. We did go over budget a bit, but it was for add-ons like upgraded granite and floor tile, and additional lighting. The glass shower surround was not included in the quoted price, but Jim gave me a price range to expect and that's where the price ultimately fell. No surprises. Pedro Jam, Jim's manager for my project, is a top-shelf tradesman. He and a helper demolished the old restrooms, then painstakingly rebuilt the new. Everything Pedro did along the way he did with an eye on how the final product would look and work. It's plainly obvious that he has done this many times before. I work from my home, so I was there watching every day. (I know this was annoying, Pedro. Sorry!) The frame of the new corner tub, the hardy backer behind the shower tile, the plumbing and electrical behind the walls and ceiling, all was done precisely and professionally. And the final product is very nearly flawless: Every tile cut is sharp and correct, and all joints and gaps are spot on. Just one example of detail: the granite threshold beneath the showed door tilts slightly inward, allowing the water to drain into the shower and not outward onto the floor. A small thing, but it would have been a real pain if done incorrectly. Speaking of granite, Jim hooked me up with his granite supplier, which enabled me to find a unique slab that perfectly matches the different tile colors of the floor and shower. Jim's carpenter, Mike, did a first class job on the cabinet drawers and doors, too. Thanks, Mike. The upstairs bathroom turned out equally satisfying. Pedro tore out the old tub and tile surround, prepared the floor and walls, plumbed where needed, and installed the new tub and tile. He also retiled the floor and installed new baseboards. Jim's painter, Andrew and company, did a great job painting both bathrooms. Thanks, Andrew. So, yes, I'm satisfied and I recommend Tri Way Enterprises. I like this about Jim most: He says what he's going to do and than he does it. No drama, no stress. If anything goes wrong, he will answer your call quickly and he will fix it immediately. For example, the walls of my master bathroom are not entirely plumb. This created a challenge for Mike the glass manufacturer. The first door was cut squarely, but the opening was not. Jim and Mike addressed the problem immediately and a new door has been installed. Problem solved. I've posted some before and after pictures below. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
Description of Work: We had a master bath and secondary bathroom renovated. The master included a complete tearout and rebuild of a corner tub and seperate corner shower. The double vanity base was kept, but outfitted with new doors, drawers, and topped with new granite. The shower was tiled from the floor up and wrapped with a frameless glass surround. Poorly done tile on the floor was torn up and replaced with wood-look porcelan plank tile. The secondary "jack and jill" bath received a new tub and tile surround, and new tile floor. Finally, both bathrooms had their walls textured where needed and painted.

I was annoyed because he set a time up with me and then when he showed up for the estimate, he told me he was too busy to take on a new project. I asked him, if I was not clear on what I needed done, and he said no. I feel I could of had someone else here to give me an estimate. This has set me back a few days.
Description of Work: I called them to give me an estimate on a remodel for roof, flooring, and sheet rock.
We started by asking Jim to completely remodel just two bathrooms in our house. We had very few ideas about what we wanted and he showed us examples and made suggestions and over time we just continued to ask for him to do more and more. He had us select the granite, the tiles, plumbing fixtures, etc. and adjusted his project price accordingly. His workers were all very good and very pleasant. They worked from about 10:00 am to about 5:00 or 6:00 pm every weekday for 10-1/2 weeks to complete the three bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room, and tiling. Jim hired his own people as needed (electrician, glass shower guys, plumber, etc.). We then asked him to repaint all the other rooms in the house and they came back and did that a couple of weeks later. Since we also needed to recarpet, we asked Jim to do the downstairs rooms, then stop to let us lay carpet, and then move upstairs. It all worked out very well. We love everything they did. The tiling was done meticulously and is second to none we've seen anywhere. That was the slowest part of the process but we were very happy about it no matter how long it took. We are very, very happy customers. For those thinking about starting a similar project, you can't think about this too much. And don't assume anything. If you want to have your door or cabinet hinges replaced, Jim will gladly do it but you need to specify what you want done, preferably up front. Also, they need a lot of space to work and store their materials and tools (tile saws, for example). In our case, we cleared out more than half of our garage for them to use for the entire project. Just be prepared and go with the flow and you'll be very happy.
Description of Work: Complete (except for cabinets which they repainted or sanded and restained) remodeling of kitchen, three bathrooms, and laundry room (and also included additional tiling of entry way) for $54,114.75. This meant demolishing showers, tubs, flooring (carpet, vinyl, and tile), counter tops, light fixtures, mirrors, wallpaper, etc. Granite counter tops and sinks were installed, new tiles, a frameless glass shower, a shower/tub, another tub, three toilets, new lighting and fixtures, new paint, and they installed new kitchen appliances which we had purchased. Later, they also repainted and restained all other rooms and hallways in our four bedroom house ($7900).

This is the second time Jim and his crew have done major remodeling in our home. The first was a large-scale kitchen remodeling in Spring 2014, which was excellent (please refer to that review). This time Jim undertook a complete bathroom remodeling - everything was gutted down to the studs, and we proceeded with a tub to shower conversion. As always, Jim worked with us (and gave us homework to do) on the design and stayed in touch each step of the way. The workmanship was outstanding, with exquisite attention to detail, top quality materials, and the final product has been consistently complimented by all our friends and relatives. Not planning any more remodeling for the near future, but when we do we will certainly do it with Jim. He's not the cheapest nor most expensive, but the results are consistent, elegant and fantastic. Thanks! George.

The work went as planned, the craftsman that performed the tear out and install was a perfectionist. The shower pan replacement was attempted by another contractor and failed we fired them. Tri-way came and explained the details of what needs to be done to build a shower that would meet our expectations. My compliments to Joe, who has been with Tri-way for many years, we trusted him with a key to our house. There professionalism and attention to details is impressive.
We needed a complete remodel of or kitchen. We still had the original cabinets which were 48 years old! Jim, the owner of Tri Way Enterprises showed up for our initial meeting at the scheduled time. He came complete with photographs of his previous work and provided us with ideas for our kitchen which were very helpful. Within a few days he emailed us with a detailed estimate. Even though he was a little higher than other quotes we had received, we decided to go with Tri Way because we felt we were getting a bigger bang for our buck......and I got the impression from Jim that he really wanted us to love our new kitchen....which we do! The first day was the demo and getting things ready for the job. Everyone that showed up was very professional and friendly. We have a small kitchen so the demo only took one day and the following day they hauled everything away. Mike, the carpenter began working on the cabinets right away. I was amazed how quickly they all came together, not to mention the quality of his work and the products he used.....everything regarding the cabinets were top notch! During this time Michelle, their electrician came in and did all the electrical work....once again top notch. Like any job this big, there are bound to be a few bumps along the way. There was an issue with the backsplash installation, but once I notified Jim of the problem, he showed up and made things right. It slowed the job down by a day or two, but in the end it all worked out fine. One of the last things to be done was the painting and Andrew and Rose did a great job. Also during the job, which took close to 6 weeks (due in part to it being during the holidays) everyone made sure to clean up before they left for the day. If there were ever any questions, Jim was always available by phone, text or email and was quick to respond. Even though the job took a little longer than expected, it was definitely worth the wait! I would not hesitate to recommend them for any remodeling job. I have already hired them again to build us a wine cabinet.

The job was a success! It took longer then expected, but we ran into some plumbing complications that we did not foresee. Jim assisted me along the way of what steps needed to be done next so that I was prepared. Jim's contract workers were always friendly and polite. If I had a question, Jim was always available to answer it for me. My small enclosed one person shower stall became a beautiful shower with a glass door and sitting bench. I will enjoy this shower forever. I have and will recommend Tri-Way Enterprises in the future. It was a pleasure working with Jim Lupo and his contract workers. Look forward to working with him again in the future - right after I save up money to remodel my kitchen. :-) Hi Jim! Hope all is going well with you.
Description of Work: The first time I met Jim Lupo, I knew he was a good and honest guy. This was my first remodel, so I felt very comfortable with Jim and he recommended different ideas that I could do for my bathroom. He made his drawing on paper of my future bathroom remodel come to life!!
