After deciding to remodel our kitchen, we chose Tri-Way Enterprises to do the work based upon their many excellent reviews in Angie's List. After Jim's initial visit, we were impressed with his professionalism and knowledge of his craft. He listened to our needs, offered great design ideas, answered any and all questions that we had and assured us that we could call him anytime with any concerns that might arise. Jim provided a full and complete estimate in a most timely manner. After accepting his bid and scheduling a start date, Jim and his workers always arrived on time, were very sensitive and respectful to our needs, and throughout the process showed a high degree of professionalism in their work. . We reviewed our drawings with Jim and his talented carpenter, Jeff. We talked about what was priority and they made it happen. The workmanship is masterful. The granite countertops have almost invisible seams and the porcelain tile floor is perfectly installed with straight seams. Tri-Way was not our lowest bid but it was worth every penny. The process went very smoothly and the convenience was priceless. It was a pleasure doing business with some one who takes pride in a job well done and making sure his customer is satisfied.
Description of Work: Remodeled kitchen by installing granite countertops with back splash, under cabinet lighting, porcelain floors, built-in microwave with custom cabinetry and ceiling fans.

Jim was very professional and did a really good job with his crew. He gave us information about good tile companies from where to choose our tile. They made sure that the wood floors in the bedroom were undamaged, and cleaned up after themselves everyday. The quality of tile work, painting and plumbing was very good. There were some hiccups when the shower door did not fit back on the shower (due to the door being cut wrong when it was first installed) - Jim had assured us that there would be no trouble putting the door back. He had a glass person come and replaced the door and only asked us to pay what we felt would be fair. They also fixed a couple of minor issues in the second bathroom. Overall, we love our new bathroom and are very pleased we chose Jim to do our remodel.
Description of Work: Had our shower completely re-tiled with a new window and new plumbing. Had the bath marble floor tiled over, and the vanity and toilet replaced.

Jim was quick to respond to our call and scheduling request. I know we were a little picky about timing, since I wanted to get several bids all in one day. Jim was extremely tolerant and friendly. Since I didn't know much about the work involved, Jim talked me through it before he even came to see the place. When he arrived, he brought that friendly and professional presence. He and I were talking about the cabinetry when another vendor came to estimate some landscaping. I handed Jim off to my wife, he kept walking through the process and made very certain that we understood everything. In the end, Jim's estimate was higher than another well-rated, friendly, and capable Angie's List company, by $500-1000. That was enough to sway our business, but I was impressed enough with Triway Services to say that I will definitely call them again for work like this in the future.
Description of Work: We needed to have our cabinets refinished --- from a light caramel stain to a creamy white color with antique glaze. We also wanted to have our entertainment center refinished, and a complex distressed-look kitchen island.

Jim came in with his team and completed the job in the time line he promised. They gave such great attention to details, offered suggestions, and exceeded our expectations. The job was done with such great quality and high standards that it overshadowed my previous bad experience with the other contractor. I truly understand why Jim and his team have high marks with Angie's List, they exemplify quality and great customer service. I highly recommend this team to anyone seeking a contractor.
Description of Work: I hired a contractor who was not on Angie's list to gut my existing bathroom and do a remodel job which consisted of installing granite counter tops, expanding the shower approximately 12 inches with tile installation around the tub and throughout the shower. Installing mirror, light fixtures, lighting, new plumbing, painting, and crown molding. This contactor gutted my bathroom and rarely to never came back to complete the remodel, and when he did come back he was not at my home for more than an hour and just moved material from one place to the other to appear as if he was actually preparing for completing the project. It was a nightmare! I was angry, frustrated, and greatly disappointed because this man spoke with a silver tongue and had us conviced he would do a great job. I was put in a postition where I had to find someone who would come in behind another contactor's work and complete the job. It was so horrible, because we planned the remodel to enhance our home but we did not have to do it because we had a functioning bathroom, after he gutted it and did not come back, we had no choice but to proceed with a remodel. Jim and his team were awesome he went through great lengths to win my confidence which had be soiled by the previous contractor. I can not find words in the dictionary to express the great job, customer experience, professionalism, and attention to detail that he and his team gave me and my husband.

Jim Lupo came up with some great ideas on his initial visit & on the strength of those & his excellent history on Angie's List we hired him. He showed up on the date agreed & had the cabinets torn out & gone in a short time. They cut out a wall which opened to the living room which totally changed the feel of the kitchen. Jim took the cabinet that had been on that wall, placed it on the floor on the dining room side & designed a beautiful granite bar/countertop that half mooned into the dining area & over the cabinet. They removed the ceiling fan & replaced it with adjustable recessed lighting. Also had adjustable lighting under all the cabinets. The granite work was beautifully done. Jim installed the tile backsplash with some really nice diamond inserts made of the same granite used on the counters. All the work was done as I expected. They were quick to address any issues we brought up. This was a multi person job & Jim's crew was fantastic. Jim had said it would take 2 weeks. He was here on a Monday & was finishing the cleanup on Friday of week 2. I would definitely consider having Jim & crew do further work on my home.
Description of Work: We bought the house new in 1983. The cabinets & countertops were in very bad shape after 27 years considering they were of inferior quality when new. The work we wanted & had done was a complete tear-out & remodeling.

While away on an extended vacation, an attic pipe sprang a leak. The water damaged approximately an 8' x 8' area in the ceiling of the living room. This room has 20' ceilings, so scaffolding was necessary to do the work. Jim's team was very punctual and courteous. They sealed all the doorways to keep dust out of the other rooms and covered all the furniture as well. They removed and rehung all the pictures on the walls. They did all the paint touch-ups necessary on the walls from errant texture and scratches. I was so pleased with their work that I have already used them again on my kitchen remodeling project.

Telephoned the company and left a message. Very shortly thereafter, owner Jim Lupo, phoned me to let me know that he had received my call, that he was on his way back to Houston from Las Vegas and would call me early evening to speak with me. He did, and we set up an appointment for the next day for Jim to look at the projects we wanted him to complete and to give an estimate. The job was set for Friday, 10/15. He and his crew would be arriving before 10am. At 9:15 am, they called to say they were on their way and were in my driveway by 9:55 am...a contractor who arrived on time! What a wonderful way to begin the day! We found several other small projects that Jim and his expert carpenter, Jeff, agreed to do, and they did an outstanding job, giving a great deal of attention to detail and perfection. This is the contractor ... and the company...that you want to go to. They believe in customer satisfaction, and they deliver the goods! We will absolutely have them come back to do more work, and Tri-Way gets our vote for an outstanding job!!!

Jim and his merry band of artisans completely renovated my condo this spring and did a fabulous job painting, replacing doors, smoothing ceilings, changing out doorknobs and plumbing fixtures. You name it, they did it. And, they did it beautifully. About a month ago, the supply line to my toilet broke and I had considerable water damage to my downstairs ceilings and the woodwork around my wet bar. Jim came over immediately after I called, gave me an estimate and his guys were there a day later. Two days after that, you would never know there had been any damage at all. The ceilings and woodwork were like new again. I would highly recommend Jim and his crew for the meticulous work they do.

Jim was good about setting up the time to come over for the estimate on our bathroom remodel. A month later, he still did not submit a bid for the project. If he did not want to do the project, he should have actually informed us. While he was at our house, I found him to be very rude. He insinuated that my husband and I wouldnt be able to afford the project. I also mentioned to him the coupon for TriWay on Angie's List and he told me that it was for seniors citizens. When I told him the coupon online did not mention the age limitation, he curtly says to me "well, Im telling you now." For someone who was very proud of his Angie's List rating, I was shocked at how poorly we were treated and how disrespectful he was to us. I will never contact this company again for any work. If this is how I am treated during the bidding process, I cannot even imagine how much more rude and disrespected I will be talked to during the actual work itself.

All in all the work progressed very well. There were delays caused by persons or conditions beyond TWE's control - but they were not significant and TWE worked around them as much as possible. I added several unrelated projects around my home and TWE worked them into the overall project conveniently and at a reasonable cost. All of TWE's employees are professional and courteous and did quality work. I would definitely recommend TWE. Jim Lupo will spend as much time as is necessary upfront to explain his bid and what it covers and involves. I recommend spending that time. It will make the project run smoothly. He is also very flexible about on the fly changes - which, as any woman knows, is an asset.
Description of Work: TWE totally remodeled two bathrooms for me. My home is over 50 years old. One bathroom had never been updated and the other was probably updated in the 70's or 80's. Both bathrooms were gutted to the studs and rebuilt. There were definitely some unexpected challenges due to the age of the bathrooms, but TWE worked closely with me, and another contractor, to overcome the challenges. The final product is outstanding - I am very pleased. All work is guaranteed. The tile work beautiful!

We had a fire in our kitchen and had to replace the stove and surrounding countertop. I received several bids from other contractors and while Tri-way was one of the most expensive, I felt most comfortable with Jim Lupo. He also had some great ideas for the tile design. I picked out the tile at Home Depot and he went to buy it along with other supplies that they needed for the job. The tile contractor was excellent - precise and very professional. He pointed out an area of concern in the shower before proceeding with the work we agreed upon. I would definitely hire them again in the future.

We are from the UK, so some of our ideas were a little 'unusual'. Jim listened to all our ideas and nothing was any problem. All the tradesmen were were very helpful and friendly and cleaned up after themselves really well. We are delighted with our bathroom and it turned out exactly as we imagined. There was someone working at the house every day until the job was finished. We had one small problem with the cabinets right at the end of the job, but it was sorted out to our satisfaction, and we would definitely use Jim again for any future work.

I called Jim on a Friday; he called me back the next day and came out to give me an estimate. He told me where to look to try to find tile that would match the existing 25 year-old tile. After getting otehr estimates, I decided to use Jim's company, and he was able to work with my schedule and fit me in the Friday after he did the estimate. He and his tile man, Joe, showed up right on time. After talking about the job with Joe, Jim left Joe to do the work. Joe was awesome!! He put down paper to protect the tub, carefully removed the glass shower doors and frame, 4 rows of existing tile (on the wall where the faucets are) to get above the leak and the plain sheetrock (!) that was behind the tub. The tiles around the faucet stems were cut perfectly. He replaced the sheetrock with cement board, installed the new tile, caulked everything, and put everything back together. You can't even tell where the shower was patched!! Clearly, Joe takes a lot of pride in his work, even small jobs like mine. Jim also had his carpenter build a new kitchen drawer to replace a broken one and re-used the existing facing; it's solid wood instead of particle board and fits perfectly. I also asked him, as an after-thought, if he could cut and place a piece of plywood on the underside of my couch to keep the cats out. Next thing I know, he has gone back to his shop and come back with plywood and 'patched' my couch!! I couldn't be happier with the quality, timeliness, and price on this job.

We called three companies for an estimate. Jim Lupo was the only one to call us back and come to give us an estimate. We thought his prices were fair and he showed us pictures of previous jobs he had completed. We decided to have him do the work and we are very glad we did. They spent a lot of time on the front door frame to make sure it was done right and did a beautiful job. We are extremely impressed with the job they did. The other projects were great also. Jim and his crew are professional, courteous and pleasant. We will definitely use them for future projects.

It was the best experience I have had with having any work done. The estimate was provided promptly and the work started immediately after acceptance. The painters did an outstanding job both on the work and on the cleanup after. The job was planned so that there was no "dead time" waiting between paint, tile, and countertops.
