Excellent prompt response to request made via Angie's List. Thor confirmed cost and time. They arrived at the agreed time completed the work in a timely manner and gave a full explanation of the issues and the remedy. We would definitely recommend.

We purchased an older home and had quite a bit of work that needed to be done by an electrician to bring it up to code. We also had some lights that did not work, switches that did not work, and GFC devices that needed to be installed/checked. They showed up on time and worked very hard to get everything accomplished. We were happy with the work and will use him in the future for electrical needs.

I sent email to Mr. Hixon describing the electrical work required. He called and set up an appointment with a couple of days. He and his son show up on time. They were thorough, polite, profession and worked efficiency to complete the job quickly.

Danny and his son came over about 6 hours after I called requesting assistance on an electrical box which had burned out. Went right to work and determined the original subcontractor had not installed the wires properly and one wire came loose causing too much load when we strung our Christmas lights this year. He had to replace the box with a GFI outlet, due to code requirements. He did the same on an outdoor outlet in the back yard and worked well past dark. The outlet boxes that were installed were pretty ugly but I guess most of them are. I had him check out the electrical panel, etc. as we had been experiencing a lot of burned out buibs and power outages. He said our ground pole connection was loose, but other than some tightening of breaker connections the panel was in good shape. I asked him about a surge protector and he explained that there were some cheaper ones on the market that he wouldn't sell, but he was very comfortable with the one he does sell, which he has on his house and has seen it work on his clients houses that have experienced major surges. It was more expensive than I thought it might be at $650, as I had seen some of the 'big deals' on Angies list where replacing the control panel and getting a surge protector were less than $800. Danny warrants all his work for a year, no questions asked and I had confidence in what he was telling me, so I replaced the ground pole and added the protector. I was very pleased with their responsiveness and they stayed late into the evening to finish the job. He didn't try to sell me on anything as I brought up the control panel and surge protector. He just talked to me about his experience. Very pleased and would call him again in a heart beat.

I left a message for several companies asking for an estimate to fix the pull chain. Thor was the only company that called back the same day with an estimate. Two gentlemen from Thor showed up exactly on time. They were polite and professional and fixed the fan fairly quickly. I think $95 is a little bit expensive to replace a ceiling fan pull chain, but the cost was $5 under Thor's phone estimate, so I guess I can't complain too much. After dealing with the aggravation of other companies/repairman who do not show up on time, or at all, it is worth it to have repairman who show up as scheduled and complete the job professionally.

I called Thor this morning to schedule an appointment to have a dimmer replaced in my game room. Danny called back within 30 minutes and said he could have a technician to my house in about an hour. Steven showed up at the house in an hour, as promised, and quickly fixed the dimmer. From the initial call to Danny to the completion of the job was 2 hours. I have used Danny and Steven before in the past and will continue to do so in the future. Thor is always responsive, courteous and professional. Their prices are very fair and they always shoot me straight. I never feel like they are trying to take advantage of me by trying to sell me work I don't need. To the contrary, when Thor does work on my house I always feel like they are looking out for my best interests. I would highly recommend Danny and Steven to anyone looking to get electrical work done.

The thing that impressed me the most with these guys was their responsiveness. They were on time for the estimate. They always took my call or returned it very quickly and worked to get me exactly what I needed. I ended up needing to get the work done quickly because I had a HVAC contractor out installing a new system, and they got me on the schedule and took care of it quickly. They were on time for the appointment and did an excellent job.

Great job. His price was far less than another estimate I had gotten.

Quick response with quality work is a good combination. Repairs were in response to inspection report on house I was selling. Explained to me some of the repairs were not needed and helped me respond successfully to the inspection report. This saved me time and money.

As stated above, we needed wires and an electrical box moved. Mr. Hixon agreed to meet our remodeler and handled the situation quickly. We've used Thor Electric three or four times now and highly recommend them and will use them again.

The technician actually showed up early. He was very effiecient and had everything done promptly. Over the weekend Danny and a helper came over and labeled the box. There was a problem with the city connection and they called the city to get it fixed. Later that evening they called to make sure everything was working.

Danny and his son made me feel very comfortable about having them in my home. He was very professional and friendly. I have several projects in mind and will certainly use only Thor Electric in the future

Like a Seal Team on a mission ......two trucks pull up to the house and Sarge Danny and three electricians jump out to knock out the target. They were fast clean, neat and efficient and the price was VERY reasonable and fair for the quality and amount of wotk that was done. So fast and celan, I barely had time to make out the check.

Can't say enough good things about how pleased I was with Danny. First of all he ran alittle late to our appointment because there was a serious issue with the client he met with before us. When we spoke with him he explained why he was running late but ask if he could still take a look at our problem. He didn't make excuses about what happened he just aplogized and we moved on. Once he was at our location he looked at our problems told us in his professional opinion what we would need to do to fix it, then he proceed to describe how to fix the issues. Funny thing was he wasn't trying hard to sell himself to us he just genuinely wanted us informed enough on how to correct the issues. We ask him if he could fix our problem and he said he could. I thought I needed to schedule this work for another time, but Danny said he could fix it now, it would take about this much time, and this would be the cost for the repairs. Personally I like this type of repair person Danny wasn't pushy just direct about what it would take to fix our problem What we liked most about Danny was he was fair, honest, and just a good ole boy. I would use him again in heart beat and would recommend him as a true professional.

After searching through Angie's List reviews, I called THOR Electric. Left a message and got a return call later that day. We discussed what I needed to have done and set up a day to have the work done. Danny called to confirm the day before (which was a Sunday afternoon) and his crew showed up right on time next morning. I showed them where to move the three different switches and where I wanted the light installed in the hall bath. Everything went smoothly and quickly and neatly - we had discussed the fact that there would be holes left in the sheetrock which I would need to fix, but I had already figured on that. I had originally wanted them to move the light switch in our master bath. We remodeled 15 years ago and for some reason didn't put the switch in the best spot. When they opened up the switch plate, they were able to show me that moving it was going to be too involved and require more effort and money than I was interested in. While we were talking, I mentioned that I hadn't been able to use my hair dryer in the bathroom with the lights on EVER - that it would blow the fuse. They said that it would just take a new circuit (why hadn't the remodeling folks done that!?!) so I had them take care of that instead of moving the switch. Hurray! Now I can finally dry my hair AND see what I'm doing :) I was pleased with the work done, with the attitude and behavior or the crew, and especially with the fact that they were the ones crawling around the attic, not me! I will certainly call THOR again when any other electrical work comes up.

Danny helped us understand our electric needs for the house after dealing with our issue.

The company had a couple of recent truck accidents which I believe played into scheduling. I did however wait more than a week for a call back before I called them again myself. once I made that call I received a rough quote over the phone (based on specifics I had obtained from a previous electrician). The quote was not guaranteed as it was sight unseen but made me comfortable enough to have them come out. They showed up a little earlier than scheduled but had called ahead to make sure that was ok. Two electricians showed up and verified both the work I needed and the price of the job before beginning. They had me take a look and help make the decision of where to run the wiring as it was going outside the house and could be seen from driveway. They worked quickly and cleaned up well after they were done. I would definitely use them again and as a comparison the other electrician I got a quote from wanted 4X as much for the exact same job.

I called for a quote on a GFI breaker. I received a quote over the phone, contingent on the actual price for the part. I called him back when I got home and described the part for him. As it turned out the part was higher. When Danny arrived it turns out that the part I described was not correct, so he had to go pick up another part. The new part was less expensive, so he adjusted my bill. It took about 30 minutes to get the part in and tested. He didn't charge for the time and mileage it took to get the new part.

The electricians were professional, respectful, prompt and quick. The whole process took just at an hour. They accessed my problem, gave a solution and estimate and went to work. My microwave was constantly blowing a fuse in my house and causing other rooms to go dark. They rewired the electricity from my microwave to a new breaker in my breaker box. This required going into my attic and adding new wiring to my breaker box and into my kitchen. They cleaned up any mess they made and were not obtrusive to what I already had going on in my home. Would recommend over and over.

Thor Enterprises LLC will be our first choice for future electrical needs. We were totally pleased with the communications, job, and most of all the bid. I highly recommend these electricians and will contact them with any of my future electrical needs. Owning a small real estate business, I am quite sure we will be filling out another review soon. Called Danny to address numerous issues, he was able to restore power to outlets, motion sensors, and corrected numerous deficiencies in the builder's wiring of my brand new home. I had him wire some HDMI over Ethernet through my ceiling and ended up having him service my electrical panel and run a dedicated circuit for my Audio Visual equipment. He was honest and candid about not being able to service one of the issues I called about, but I appreciated the honesty, he completed the work in a timely fashion and did a great job of fixing where my builder's electrician failed. I will be using his services again and will be installing a whole home surge protection in the near future.

After replacing the A/C unit in my mother's home, we realized that the old breaker could not handle the new unit. Thor Electronics took an after hour call very late on a Saturday evening and was onsite within 45 minutes. They made the house safe that night so that my mother could sleep with AC and not worry about a fire in her home, and returned the next day to complete the install of a new breaker box. We are so please with the repair men from Thor for saving my Mom?s house and giving her a safe and comfortable home to recover from her health issues. A BIG Thank You to Thor Electronics!

I was given a quote over the phone when I scheduled the appointment. Fortunately, they had an opening the next morning so I scheduled them. They arrived about 5 minutes early, at about 7:25, and took a look at the situation, the layout of the room, and started right to work. About 2-hours later, everything was done! They even noticed a problem I didn't know about in the electrical box where they were installing the switch for the new fan, pointed it out, and replaced a poorly wired switch at no extra charge. They were very professional, setup tarps everywhere to protect the room, and vacuumed everything thoroughly before they left. The quote they gave me over the phone was exactly what it ended up costing. Unfortunately, they don't do drywall work, so I'm going to have to go back myself and patch some of the drywall they had to remove when running the wire. That was something they told me before we started when I described the room to them over the phone, so it wasn't a surprise. Just something for you to know if you're having work done that will require drywall removal. I'd certainly use them again!
