Had a circuit breaker go bad on a Sunday morning. This is typically a simple job to repair, so I pulled it out to replace with a part from Home Depot only to discover the circuit breaker had melted the connection to the panel. Uh-oh, now it's out of my pay grade. I still had power to the remaining circuits, but the one circuit that failed was the upstairs AC unit, which in Houston in July is pretty important, at least my 3 kids who sleep upstairs think so. Anyway, called several electrical contractors, none could come out until Tuesday or Thursday next week to even take a look. Left a message with Danny at Thor Enterpises, he called me back very quickly. I sent him a few pictures of the situation, he hunted around (on a Sunday) for parts that might enable a simple repair, rather than full replacement. Then we both accepted that complete replacement was the only option, but it would be better to wait until Monday to the work, when he'd have his full teams available. He knew the AC was out though, so he came by on Sunday, temporarily rerouted the AC power to the still functioning oven circuit to get us through the night, then gave me a reasonable quote for replacement. His two employees came by the next day and they were professional, courteous and efficient in their job. Overall I was very happy with their service. I'd definitely recommend Danny and his crews for Electrical work.

Danny, owner of Thor Enterprises was terrific! He saved me hundreds of dollars. I called him to see if my original breaker box needed replacement or upgrading as it was a bit rusty, the front plate facing had come loose and the cover fell off. It was not giving me any trouble but I like to maintain my home. He told me that most companies would recommend electric panel/breaker box replacement. In fact, two other companies, I called for an estimate and evaluation did in deed recommend replacement. However, Danny explained that my box was one of the best made units and that replacement was unnecessary. His recommendation was breaker box/panel maintenance which meant that he would clean everything up behind and in front of the panel and make certain all wiring/breakers, etc. was in proper working order, tighten the panel facing and put the door cover back on. When servicing the box he found that the ground rod was not up to code so he replaced that which was an additional but reasonable charge. Danny's honesty, integrity and vast electrical knowledge was a great find for me. If you have electrical issues, he is a valuable resource.

Outstanding response, I can't thank Danny enough, I told them my AC was out and his crew arrived in about 2 hours. They were professional, friendly and above all good at what they do. I will not only use them in the future, I will recommend them to all my friends and anyone else that asks about an electrician.

It went very well. Danny talked with me over the phone and shared information that he could have charged me for as part of his fee. He came out and worked on what we had discussed and charged me what he told me. He performed quality service and I feel like I received the value that I paid for, likely more. He was professional and honest, which is very rare and refreshing these days.

Great, I called Danny and he was on the way to his shop which is very close to my house. He asked if he could stop by now since he was only 15minutes away and I said sure. I had already bought a replacement switch and he was at my house within 15minutes. He had to do some rewiring since the new switch was wired differently. He did some minor rewiring, installed the new switch and was gone in 30 minutes. New switch works perfectly.

Danny was great! He came out after hours at no extra charge diagnosed both our problems quickly and replaced a light switch that our light fixture over the kitchen table had fried. When I finally bought a replacement fixture Danny came out the very next day (Sunday) again at no extra charge. Great guy and very professional! Will call again if I need electrical work!!

The electricians were punctual and worked very efficiently. They determined there is a bad wire between the light switch and the light and showed me the meter readings that made it clear that is indeed the problem. The repair would have required cutting holes in the wall and working under the house to replace the bad wire, but they also said they could cap the wires and make the circuit safe until I was ready to do the repair. I opted for making the circuit safe even though that light won’t turn on.

I called on a Sunday to just leave a message and Danny called back and was able to come out later in the day. He messaged me to let me know when he would be coming out (he was in the middle of a job) and showed up sooner than he anticipated. He checked the porch light (fixture was the problem), replaced the security light and finally checked the breaker panel and was able to offer a less expensive solution. I was thinking that maybe I needed to replace the panel but he assured me that I could wait 5 - 10 years before I would need to consider that. Nice that he didn't try to convince me to do something that I didn't need. I was so happy that he was able to take care of my problem immediately - not something that I expected would happen! Would definitely recommend him to my friends.

Went very well. Got the work done quite quickly, cleaned up, suggested some useful alternatives in regard to my issues, which provided a better outcome. Very knowledgeable. I have used them previously with same good results.

Called Saturday morning called me back early afternoon and came to my house that same day. Tech was professional and quickly looked over my electrical panel and corrected the outlet wiring. Would definitely use again.

ok. good work, a bit pricier than planned, but value for work was fine. the guys did leave lights on and attic doors open, should not have done so. minor thing, just a bit careless on that. overall, good work, price and value ok. would recommend

Danny responded to my initial call quickly and was able to schedule a service call within 72 hours. He was on time and diagnosed my electrical problem quickly. I felt that his rates were fair and work was done correctly the first time. Will use again.

Breaker for the A/C blew and I needed a replacement asap (hot as heck in August TX weather). Called Danny around 5:30 pm on a Thursday evening and he got to my place up north by 7:00 pm. The repair was quick. He cleaned up the inside of the breaker box a bit (there were a few dead lizards in there). Based on me telling him that I had gone through 3 A/C compressors in just two years, he tested the ground for free (normally there is a fee). Everything checked out. When I originally spoke with Danny about the bad breaker, I also told him that I might need an entire panel replacement. I've had several companies come out, inspect the breaker box, and tell me that I needed a new one very soon. Danny inspected everything and said what I had was fine, could easily get another 5-10 years out of it. Replacing a panel can exceed $1000 easily... Danny was honest in his assessment and didn't try to take my money for something that didn't need repair. Definitely recommend Thor Enterprises. Danny Hixon takes care of his customers.

Very well, he recommended a different type overhead light for the kitchen and promised to come back as soon as I could purchase it which he did. I like the new light much better than what I had already purchased.
