The electrician answered the phone promptly. He promised he would be there in 45 minutes and he kept his promise. He worked quickly and explained what he was doing and answered all my questions with a smile. He talked about his commitment to quality and I did receive quality service. I was impressed that he solved my problem on a Sunday afternoon!

Over the weekend, the main circuit breaker for the house tripped several times. We called Thor Enterprises at 7:30 Monday morning. Texted Danny pictures of the breaker box so he could arrive with correct parts. He kindly worked us in on his way to another job in Sugar Land. By 9:40 he was finished and on his way. We are grateful for the swift, professional service we received and look forward to using Thor Enterprises again for our electrical work.

My main circuit breaker died, and Danny was able to get power restored in a very short amount of time. Danny returned my call almost immediately and he asked for a picture of the circuit breaker so that he could have the parts in hand when he got to my house. Once he opened the panel, he realized that there was a fair amount of damage due arcing within the panel. He showed me the charred areas of the panel and explained the issues. My breaker box wasn't one that was able to use any type of replacement part, so Danny had to drive to the north side of Houston in order to get the part that would fit properly. One he had that part, he was able to restore power promptly. I would recommend Thor Enterprises to anyone. Not only is Danny a great electrician, but he is a genuinely good person who cares about his customers.

Our electricity was out from a big storm. We had been fighting with CenterPoint Energy for two days, and they still hadn't fixed the issue. CenterPoint Energy finally told us that they had turned on our electricity, but we still didn't have any power. So we called Danny to see what the problem was. He came and said that CenterPoint Energy still hadn't turned on our electricity. He didn't charge us any money, and called someone at CenterPoint Energy. CenterPoint Energy sent a truck to our house and had the problem fixed within 2 hours. Danny came during a crisis situation, didn't charge us, and called CenterPoint Energy to fix the problem. He is a life saver!

He worked me in Friday on short notice, gave an estimate but could not perform work until Monday, which was the Memorial Day Holiday. His crew came by on Monday, did another trouble shoot, was able to perform repair without any damage to my sheetrock which was figured into original estimate. Cost to me was considerably less than original estimate. Very happy with their work. This is the third time I've called them out. Always satisfied, job well done.

I got them from Angie's List. It's pretty reasonable. I chose them because of proximity and after talking to several people, I liked them the best. They proved that I'll continue to use them. I think they're really nice and effective. It was just one man. That's all it took.

The work was excellent and they got everything done effectively and efficiently, and they cleaned up after themselves very well. The bill for this 50 minutes of work was $210, which was more than I was expecting. Perhaps my expectations are unreasonable, as I have not hired an electrician in quite a while. However, I think I can hire a low level accountant or attorney pretty easily for an hour for this amount of money. In any case, I will gladly recommend the quality of their work, but I feel the cost may have been a bit high.

The day that I looked for them, they came the next day. I'm not going to use them again because they were a little bit higher than somebody else I found later. He was very prompt. He did try and came back the second time but it didn't worked. He did what he was supposed to do.

No show. Stayed home from work for appointment, but had to call them to learn that they had no record of the appointment and were not coming.

They were excellent. Punctual and respectful. Provided updates and asked for input. they did a great job and guarantee their work. I called as the outlets were out in the room the next day and they came without question (even though it was just a circuit breaker that was thrown).

I found them through Angie's List. I called them directly; I didn’t do a big deal. They came over and did a really good job. The price was $250 for the first visit and $125 for the second visit. My experience was great.

I was having an issue with one of the hot water heaters and discovered that the unit was not receiving power. Unfortunately I was unable to locate the breaker on the main circuit panel since the previous homeowner and/or electrician who connected the water heater, failed to mark the switch. I called Mr. Hixon, who has performed work at my home since I bought it, and he sent Jose and his crew to fix the problem. As it turns out, the wiring to the water heater was not up to code and was tied directly to the panel and not even correctly. Jose quickly identified the problem, installed a disconnect switch, labeled the panel and got the water heater working. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mr. Hixon and his crew and will use them again.

Danny and his crew were a great group to work with. I have already been telling my friends about them to send some more work their way! They brought a crew of 4 to the house and shutdown the power, removed the old breaker system and replaced with a new upgraded system. We had 1 small issue in the master bath with a plumbing issue, but Danny ran right out and got me to shut off the water and help track down the issue. He's even been keeping in contact with me to make sure that we get everything corrected properly and insists on taking care of the expenses for his part. I have to say that I really like him and his work! I will be staying in touch and using him for all my additional projects.

They were on time, and did a good job. They brought our electrical panel up to code and assisted in troubleshooting a cooktop. Thanks for the good work.

The 2 gentlemen who performed the work were extremely professional. They explained our options clearly. They did a great job and cleaned up before they left. We had received a quote for the same work from another electrical company and it was double what Thor charged. I would highly recommend them.

After email exchanges, I was called by Danny. He came the same day to do the work-he was prompt, professional and courteous....I could not be more pleased...what a wonderful experience and find.....

They called prior to arrival, arrived on time, immediately resolved the problem, and explained to us what needed to be done and why. We had them look at other things that had not been wrapped into the estimate, and they resolved the problems. THE COST WAS LOWER THAN ESTIMATED AND THEY DID MORE THAN WE ORIGINALLY HAD THEM BID ON. This was a first for us. They were nothing but professional and we have them coming back within the week to take care of another job we have for them. WE HAVE FOUND OUR ELECTRICIANS! Towards the end of the afternoon on Saturday the 20th of December I noticed that the downstairs heating unit was not coming on even through the thermostat was working fine. Performed a cursory inspection of the breaker panel and found nothing obviously wrong so decided to consult Angies List for a licensed electrician. Found Thor Enterprises at the top of my search list and called the number listed at approximately 5:30 PM. Danny Hixon called me back within 5 minutes and at 6:30 PM he arrived at the house. He first checked the breaker box and then went up to the attic to tousle shoot the system. No obvious problems encountered upstairs so he went back to the breaker box and took off the panel. Checked a number of breakers and sure enough, one of the breakers to the furnace was bad. Danny replaced the breaker, re-installed the panel and was on his way by 19:15. I was extremely pleased with the very fast service - given it was a Saturday and already 5:30 PM when I called I would have been happy if someone would have be available Sunday or Monday. The job was performed in a professional and systematic manner and I will not hesitate to call Thor Enterprises / Danny again when the need arises.

He took an emergency call at 7:30 pm when my tenant lost power. He diagnosed the problem and repaired it that night. He also trimmed tree branch that was blocking the meter.

Just fabulous! Danny came to our home to see exactly what we wanted done-and this was after a very long day but he didn't cancel--he came in the evening. That worked out for us so that my husband could be here when Danny came by. He made excellent suggestions and has a fabulous can-do extremely professional demeanor. It is obvious to us that he really loves what he does and is total. He is committed to pleasing his customers. Jose and his partner showed up as scheduled and literally worked from morning until night. We added more work so they had to return another day shortly thereafter and for about an hour the following day. Jose explained everything he was doing, answered my questions and was extremely professional and patient. Jose has an excellent can-do attitude as well. We are planning on replacing all of our recessed lighting and replace it with LED lighting and we will definitely be having Thor do the work again!
