Response from The Gutter Man
Due to the rain a backlog is in place Thank you for giving us the opportunity to earn your business and we look forward to servicing your gutter cleaning needs. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and want all Members to understand that we are working to bring on-line additional trained crews to take care of the back-log; however, this is not a man power issue...One crew or ten crews, when Mother Nature calls... no one is working in our industry; but We are cutting through the back-log very quickly. Working on ladders and roofs is a very dangerous job (and of course we are fully insured). If lightening is in the area (20 mile radius) we have to wait an hour before we proceed. If it is raining, thunder-storming, high winds, etc., we pull off the job and [Member Name Removed] wait til it blows over. Remember this is not a “Gutter Man problem” but all construction companies have to follow strict guide lines to insure safety for their employees and customers. We've been in business since 1975 and it's because of these precaution's that are in place, that We've stayed in business and have never lost an employee to a ladder accident or fall from the roof. That being said...We appreciate your patience and allowing us the opportunity to earn your business in an efficient, safe manner. We understand that your home is a great investment and if you are unable to wait for Us to come out to take care of your gutter cleaning service professionally, then we recommend getting a refund from Angie's List and not take a slot from someone who can wait.
