The Gutter Man

I bought the big deal from Angie's List and Jeff contacted me the same day to schedule the service. He and his crew were prompt and professional and did a great job! I will definitely be using this company again!

We are in the process of getting our house ready for market. Jeff was very professional and informative of the services they provide. We had them come and clean our gutters that I could easily see were clogged. Had it done in a quick time, inspected the roof and even fixed a sprinkler that was loose in our yard. The installers came, did their job, and left without us even having to be there. They picked up all the mess (they left the yard clean) The work looks great and the gutters sturdy. Jeff's advice was right on time.

They did a great job. They were in and out very quickly and left everything nice and clean. They didn't do damage to my plants. I was extremely pleased with their service.

The customer service was good and I didn't dislike anything. The whole product was good.

Don Trehern came out the same day i called to provide an estimate. I was in a hurry to get this work done since i started pool construction in my back yard. I needed installation completed in a few days before the back yard was too much of a mess to do this work. The work took place later that week and was completed in a few hours. The workers were especially nice and hard working. Since they did not arrive until late in the afternoon, it started to get dark - so another Gutter Man crew came by and helped them finish before dark. That's what I call teamwork. We really appreciated that effort and getting this work done in only a few days from the original estimate. Good job Gutter Man!!

i called the gutter man company last week, because I had a couple of leaks . Jeff Lambut came on time ,gave me a copy of their the liability insurance. They inspected it, gave me the cost of the reseal in the two corners and the clean up of some small debris left by our shingles.( nothing big) Took pictures to show me the condition of the gutter and debri in it ... That was cool, also forward them to my email address to keep a file. I was impress and happy with their work and honesty!!!!

We had a tree fall on the front corner of our roof. Don was able to give me an estimate within 2 days.....the work was done 2 days after roof repair. Don is great to work with (this is the second time we have used Gutter Man). The guys who put up the new gutters were fast, left the area clean. I hope we don't have to call them for a third visit, but if we do we will use the same company.

A few months later in the summer 2011 we noticed some of the some of the gutters were starting to sag.We decided to wait until the fall when the leaves were falling to call them back and have them do repairs while the leaves were removed. They initially started calling early about october to remove leaves and we decided to wait until the leaves all fell which we thought would be early January . Someonecame out for an estimate on what we thought would be leaf removal and minor gutter repair. He said the gutters were sagging and we needed new gutters. He was very condescending , disrespectfull and laughing when he informed us of this. I spoke to Gary Long the owner in Mid February 2012. He reported to us that when they came out a year before we were told THAT GUTTERS WERE DAMAGED AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT. He said this is in their "private notes" kept in the office .We were never sent a quote for gutter replacement and were never told we needed gutter replacement. We would never put screens on gutters for $ 1600 that were in need of replacement . He said not only were we told that the gutters needed replacing a year before but that by placing the screens IT WOULD HAVE DELAYED THE INEVITABLE DAMAGE. We noticed damage only a few months later after the screens were placed so that is simply not the case.I do understand that gutters dont last forever and that our gutters used an older nail system rather than hangers.We have had 2 other highly reputable firms come out .They have given us estimates and we do need new gutters .The price is 3000- 3500 and they could reuse the screens that are in the gutters. The reason the screens are sticking out is they were not installed properly and there must have been signs the gutter were failing and a reputable company should not have placed screens on failing gutters,They should have replaced the gutters.I believe the company sold me screens that I didnt need, they did not fix the underlying problem and did not inform us we need new gutters.I would NOT RECOMMEND DEALING WITH GUTTERMAN, I DO NOT BELIEVE WE WELL SERVED AND WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. We are out $ 1600 looking at spending 3000 more.

Overall, I was pleased by the response of the estimator to arrive at my home and the next day scheduled apointment for new gutters and downspouts..I would recommened The Gutter Man to others.

We spent about $300 on their services. We would recommend them to our friends and family members. The price was excellent. We believe they came out right away. We will use their services again in the future.

It was a very positive experience. They came the day that they said they would and gave me an estimate. I agreed to have the work done. They came back the next day and did the work. They were very organized. The work that they did was very good.

I spent about $138 on that service. I liked that they did the work on a timely basis without me having to be here at the house. They took care of everything, cleaned up appropriately and took away all the debris. As far as I was concerned they did what was contracted. I bought the gutters from them and they gave me a special rate for the gutter cleaning because of that.

Excellent. Responded promptly for an appointment for estimate. After accepting the estimate the dispatcher called the next day, set an appointment for the following day. The workers were prompt, efficient and friendly. I rated "Price" as a B simply because I liked their overall approach to the job and did not get a competitive bid.

Estimate of job was given to my contractor. We originally only wanted two drain pipes on each end of the house but were told we had to have one in the middle that would drain into the yard because of the slope and length of the house, but that the drains on each end would receive most of the water and the one in the middle the least amount. Gutters were installed by two workers who spoke no English as after the work was completed they brought the paperwork to the door, handed it to my daughter and when my daughter tried to ask who they were and what the paperwork is for they were clueless as to what she was saying. Contractor commented after the installation that he was not happy about the finish work on the gutters. I was not at all happy to see the drainpipe in the middle sticking straight out from my patio as I would have thought that aesthetically it would have been moved to the other side of the column so you weren't looking straight at it. So we have our first hard rain and I see that the backyard is flooding from the middle drainpipe and then check each of the end drainpipes to see if as much water was coming out of them and it was about half of what was coming out of the middle drain pipe. Obviously not happy because not only is the middle drain pipe ugly to look at while sitting on my new patio, but it now floods my yard worse than if we had no gutters. But at this point we dont' know if the gutters and drains were installed correctly. Called the company and the estimator returned the call to my husband very promptly. My husband explained the problem and was informed that to come back and check the work their workman had done would be an additional $75. And that they could move the middle drainpipe but it would cost more money. Needless to say, would not recommend this company.

The prices were what they had estimated and they performed the work timely. The product is attractive and it does what it is suppose to do. They were a little on the higher end in terms of price compare to the other bids I had. However, I trusted their workmanship and quality better than the people who I got lower bids from.

THE INSTALLER WAS ON TIME AND INSTALLED THE GUTTER, EXACTLY LIKE THE SALES PERSON AND I AGREED. THIS WAS A SMALL JOB. IT DID NOT MEET THE VENDOR'S MINIMUM CHARGE OF $250. THEY WERE UP FRONT ABOUT THIS, AND I HAD NO PROBLEM PAYING A FEW DOLLARS EXTRA FOR A QUALITY JOB.

"Nathan" arrived promptly at our appointment time, which was very nice. He was friendly and professional. However, gutters are suppose to be his area of expertise, not mine. He asked me what I was interested in, I told him "gutters". He asked where would I like the gutters? I said "on the house". He asked where on the house? I said, "well I was hoping you would offer some suggestions for the answer to that question." I wanted him to inspect my roofing and make suggestions and/or recommendations of where and what type of gutter should be used. He did not offer to show me any samples until I asked if he had any. He only had one sample and it was not of the one I had picked out. I really wanted the half-round gutters, but Nathan told me that they don't install that type because they are not seamless, and his company only installs seamless gutters. Today I am having SEAMLESS half-round gutters installed on my house by RainMizer. They are doing a great job so far, and were priced much less than The Gutter Man.

When I initially called The Gutterman I was told there was over a week wait just to get an estimate. Mike called me about a day later when he was in the area and said if it was convienient he could stop by and do the estimate. I was able to meet him at the house and he thoroughly explained what he recommended, what was needed, how they would do it etc. and emailed me the estimate later that evening. One length of gutter I was having installed on the 2 story garage backs right up to the power line so he had his crew swing by a few days later to make sure they coudl get their ladders in there to install it safely (I did not need to be present for this). Once they assured him they could install it I faxed back the authorization and we scheduled work for a few days later. I needed a piece of fascia replaced that had been damaged during Ike, they picked up the paint to pain it at their shop, and they returned it when they came for the install. The office called when the crew was on their way and they arrived when they said they would, they worked a large part of the day and cleaned up and did a nice job. Gutterman was a few hundred bucks more than a couple quotes I had, but I felt their professionalism and the fact that they used their own employees and not subcontractors was worth the premium.

I was very pleased with their service. They came right out. I have referred them to friends.

Excellent work. Great clean-up. Very knowledgeable and professional workmen. Work was done quickly and on time. Very pleased with the work and personnel. Felt the price was a bit high but the quality of the work justified the price. Would use and recommend this company again.

We faxed our Authorization for The Gutter Man to do the work on Monday January 12th. The office called on the 13th to confirm receipt of the job order and give us our scheduled time. They also acknowledged that we would be leaving down on the 17th and promised they would have the work done before then. By Thursday the 15th we were very nervous, so called the office for confirmation that the work would be done by the next day. They said it would. The crew arrived right as it got dark. They went straight to work. Using ladders and lights and great teamwork, they completed the work in short order. They were extremely careful of all of the landscaping around the house. We were totally pleased with their work, commitment to the customer, and cleanliness of the work site. I highly recommend this company for gutter work.

They did a really good job and they're nice guys. They came out when they said they would and they did a fabulous job. I highly recommend them. The price was very reasonable.
