The Gutter Man

My wife was home to greet them with our 1-yr old, and she was not completely comfortable with their appearance, so there was little interaction, but the job was done quickly and the price was lower than expected. Some pine needles and leaves from the roof were left throughout the yard.

No service was performed. I misunderstood the coupon I purchased. The guys who did the estimate were very nice. The communication with the company was good. We agreed on a refund with no problems.

As far as I can tell the gutters and downspouts were cleaned just fine. The problem is that they failed to replace the insulation and insulating boxes back onto the three exterior faucets before they left. Had I not checked the next morning and observed that they had not been replaced I could have had a burst pipe due to the cold weather.

My experience went very well. The staff was professional, punctual and knowledgeable in their field. The pricing was reasonable and I was pleased with the outcome of their services. I would highly recommend this company to others.

Estimate: The representative came out on time as promised and put together a clear estimate for new gutter installation on our home. He discussed with us options on where to locate downspouts for best utilization of the gutter system but also for asthetics. He also did not try to upsell us on anything or insist we needed to add gutter covers (we have minimal trees in our areas to cause major clogging problems). Gutter Man offers a discount if you pay cash/check so keep that in mind if you get an estimate. Installation: The crew arrived slightly early and got started right away. They worked hard and were done pretty fast. The workmanship is good, and the overall look turned out better than I had expected. In places we really don't notice we have gutters as they blend in so well to our home. Great job! Don't hesitate to hire these guys for a new gutter install, you won't be disappointed!

A little late for the initial meeting due to a scheduling error in their office, promptly rectified when I called in to find out where the salesman was. Very courteous and thorough in discussing options and pricing. Installation performed as promised the next day in a professional manner. Would definately use them again!

Made appointment and company turned up as scheduled. Very polite and professional, worked efficiently and cleaned up debris before leaving. Whole experience was good.

Overall I was very pleased and thought the $200 total was very good for a 2-story house with detached garage. I was expecting a sort of ragtag group to show up but they were extremely professional. The work was preceded by a supv/sales guy to scope out the work. He was back multiple times while the work was going on and provided detailed descriptions and quotes for additional work. They even had pictures available. He obviously wants to plus sell but was not pushy at all and I felt very comfortable picking as much or as little additional work as I wanted. | |My wife refuses to let me climb the 2 story ladders any more so I was very happy to get good work at a very good price.

He did a good job. I also had him power wash the porch. It took about 2-3 hours to do with 3 people.

They had to reschedule a couple of times due to the fact they were running late from other jobs. They had to do repair work on 2 gutters as well. They were at the house for 3 hours.

I paid an additional $30 for improvements. I wasn’t at home when they did the work, but they left detailed paperwork.

I bought the Angie's Deal $94 Gutter Cleaning. Company was able to schedule service for the day I requested. On that day service person (Jeff) called and said he would arrive in about an hour - actually came in about 45 minutes. He looked at system and said there would be an additional $55 fee to do the job properly, and explained the issues (secure a downspout, work around old gutter screens, etc), which I approved. He answered my questions about gutter screens and covers thoroughly. After service was complete he recommended larger downspouts be installed, and provided an estimate for that, along with an estimate for new screens. Total time they were here was roughly 1-1/2 hours. Jeff and his partner did the work I expected, provided all the information I wanted, were not pushy about doing additional work, and left my house and yard neat and clean.

On time, did a good job, and cleaned up after themselves.

Was rude and unprofessional on the phone as he rushed me off and asked me to call back with square footage of the house that needed work. I called back several seconds later with the info and left a detailed voice message and never got a call back.

It went fine and we did not have any problems. They showed up on time and they were prompt. They provided excellent service and provided exactly what they were going to do. They finished in a very reasonable time. There was no problem with scheduling and they actually called me to make the appointment. They also called to confirm the date with me the day prior.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it worked out just fine. They came out within a few weeks after I purchased the Big Deal and I paid about $100 over the price of the deal because the square footage of my house was a little more than the advertisement covered. We also had some additional work done and we were happy with what they did. They were very good about cleaning up all the debris after they finished.

The provider checked the gutters, repaired a corner one, checked the roof and closed two open areas. I apologize for the tardiness of this reply knowing that it's part of my responsibility. I do recall that I was called on the correct day & was given eta which was honored. Everyone was courteous, knowledgeable & cleaned up after. I would not recommend this company. When I called to make the cleaning appointment I explained that we had an aluminum roof and understood that there may be some additional cost; however, when the men arrived to provide service, it had been raining and they said it would be too slippery; which I understand, but they told us they had to have a supervisor present because of the roof and that they would have someone call us; also he quoted us an additional $28.98. My husband explained that we were having guests come in for Christmas and would really like it completed before then. No one called, I finally called back after the new year, the girl did apologize for dropping the ball, and we set up an appointment for Jan. 23, on the 15th my husband received a call, we were told that the quote given was wrong and he would speak to the young man that gave that quote, and it would be at least $100 and up to $300 more, they could not guarantee there would not be damage to the roof, etc. The man was very rude and unwilling to compromise so we asked for a refund.

took advantage of coupon on Angie`s list to have gutters cleaned for $94....upon arrival Nathan and Aaron informed me my screen enclosure gutters were not included in coupon...not really a total surprise...in order to clean those the guys had to get on the roof.....Nathan then got on the roof and gave me a price to have those cleaned.....If those two guys had not been as professional as they were...I may have just said do the front and I`ll worry about the back later...These are two young men who know how to talk to customers....extremely polite.....I felt I got a very fair shake.....

The provider did not do anything. This ad is a scam. I would have thought that I could trust deals posted on Angieslist but this obviously is incorrect.
