Very well. They did just what was requested.

I paid more than the $94.00 dollar coupon but i had to realize that my gutters had not been cleaned or repaired in 2 years so it cost me an extra 277.00 because i went over the 250 linear yards or feet. First we had problems scheduling a Saturday but the company realized the demand in Katy and started scheduling on Saturdays. Once the schedule was set they crew came in on time, they were polite and courteous. They did a visual inspection and told me i had more than 250 linear feet of gutters and the needed some repairs. They showed where the repairs were needed and once the job was completed they showed me around. The crew cleaned the walkway and front of the house. Overall, the job was done right and fast. I recommend.

It went very well. We have a three story home, and they had an appropriate sized ladder. They cleaned out the gutters and did a little spraying. It took about an hour to do the work with 2 techs.

Their representative came out on time. Reviewed and measured the house. Their bid was in line for what I thought the job would cost. Their crew came out two days after I had approved the work. The work was done very professionally and cleaned up the leaves and hauled them away. I learned that he work was done by their own employees and the crew had many years with the company.

It was a big deal purchase. I feel that they overestimated the length of the gutter. They told the gutter is longer so they charged me extra money. I thought they overestimated a little bit. They did the scheduled appointment with the tenant. I don’t have any complaints on that. I have no problem on scheduling. I think $150 is not that cheap for the gutter cleaning. My tenant didn’t have any complaints. I think the responsiveness was good.

I wasn't happy the service. They cleaned out the the gutters and left all of the debris on the ground. They damaged some bushes and flower beds with their ladders and feet. However, they were easy to schedule with and they were on time.

Extremely upset with this company. My wife and I are first time home buyers, not to mention she is enrolled at UH and we're paying tuition out of pocket. With that said, we obviously are very conscious on how much we spend on anything. Don with The gutter Man come out to our house and was very nice, but kept asking while calculating the cost, "how much do you think it's going to be?" He kept badgering me with this question, and I became very uneasy, fearing a high cost. Once the quote was finished, it came to over $1,500. He then began to ask for signatures. Not knowing how much gutter placements run, I immediately thought to get a few more quotes. I then asked Don what it meant for me to sign. He said this assures that they will come out and put up my gutters. I then told Don that I'm going to hold off for now and get a few quotes. Don became immediately aggravated, asking "why?" I told him I want to compare prices. Don then asked, "well how much do you think it's going to be?" I told him I wasn't sure and now I want to get a few quotes. He became aggravated again stating sarcastically "well I made the drive out here, and changed my schedule, but it's okay". I told Don he is being very unprofessional and immediately he responded "no you're being unprofessional, and I came all the way out here". I then handed him his quotes and told him not to come to my house again. Don then states, "that's not my problem, you're holding all the pride on your shoulders". I then continued to walk away and entered my house and called The Gutter Man to complain. The lady I spoke with over the phone was very nice and understanding, stating she will pass my complaint on to the owner, Mr. Long. I am currently awaiting Mr. Long's call.

The Gutters of our 2 Story house where cleaned. They used a blower and then Water. They detected one of the corners on the Gutters where no longer sealed, that was fixed. they took a picture of the before. I watched them fix it. They also cleaned the gutters of the Garage. Did a great job. Cleaned up afterwards. Very professional. Where on time. No complaints whatsoever. I used them before and was very happy with the service and still am and will use them again.

The service was fine. They were on time, they were courteous, they did the job well, and we will use them again. They were very good.

They came and cleaned out the gutters. The service was good and I thought they did a fine job. They did what the deal said they would. They communicated with me and came out when they said they would. I would tell people they did a good job. There was no issues with them.

Service team was great. Scheduler was good. Only comment is that they should know when I book on Angie's list and not have to repeat all the information.

It was fine. It turned out that because I have screens on my gutters, it didn't end up being quite the deal I thought it was going to be. It was fine. I paid more than the big deal I purchased. I wasn't super impressed with their professionalism.

did a great job. fixed some broken issues. very reasonable on Angie's list. would diffidently use them again.

He was fine. They did what they were supposed to do. We had no problems. It took them 2 hours.

They cleaned all my gutters and downspouts which were severely backed up. Everything is flowing properly now and we've had a few storms for us to be able to check that the work was good. All is working as it should! Thanks Gutter Man!

I had a lot of trouble with communication. Emails went awry, phone calls were not returned. Eventually the service was performed. While they did the job, the communication issues were enough that I would not use them again.

The 2 man team arrived on time for the service. Then they proceeded to setup ladders to get to the roof of our two story home. They started by measuring the roof and identified that our roof was larger than the package we ordered covered. We agreed to proceed with the work and pay the difference. They cleared the roof in about 45 minutes. They followed some clear safety protocols and were very careful about each step. Then they came to the door with pictures of some things on the roof and offered us some very expensive solution to cover rubber areas they said needed attention. The solution was too expensive and I advised them of the same. They had another option that was less money but still more than $100 more. I politely declined. I did purchase their services to fix a gutter leak near the front of the house. It became clear that the team was being urged to sell more items beyond the ordered services. He tried the pressure sale approach which really changed the tone, and I was done. I advised him that I was happy with what was done and we would call our regular maintenance guy for the rest. This was a valued and needed service. The multiple renegotiations was a bummer. They should probably ask new customers to give a preliminary measurement of the roof so you don't have to negotiate price again at the beginning. They also could advise that they will be checking the roof for rubber cracks and things so you're not surprised by the add-on sale at the end when you're thinking they are done. It may seem like a good idea to try to sale more add-ons at the end and make more money but doing so with me made me want to kick them off my property. Nevertheless, if I needed gutters cleaned or patched again I would call these guys again. They did a good and fast job on this.

My husband purchased an Angie's List Deal, unaware that I had used The Gutter Man two years ago. When we called to schedule the service, they briefly stated that we were repeat customers and the deal was therefore invalid and could not be accepted. When I asked how to go about resolving the situation, they said there was nothing that could be done on their end. I contacted Angie's List and they were able to refund the cost of the Deal. The representative from Angie's List was patient and helpful. I believe it took a few days for the refund to go through. When The Gutter Man provided gutter service for us a few years ago I recall the service as prompt and professional. Had they offered to work with me and charge me the difference of a regularly scheduled service or otherwise resolve the issue and provide the service, I would have gone ahead with it. After receiving the refund we just contact another company and were satisfied with their work as well.

We had a little tree growing in the gutter at the front, so we needed them to be cleaned. If we needed them cleaned, we would use them again. They were clear that they may have to do a bit more when they got out here, but the price was right

Didn't complete cleaning although offered to return and finish.

The free cleanings were the problem. We assumed--erroneously--that Gutter Man would contact us for a Spring and a Fall cleaning. When we didn't hear from them, we called and were told we were "overdue" for our first cleaning, even though it was only September and leaves had not fallen. We were told we had no choice, so we had gutter cleaned and used one of our free cleanings. They did an excellent and thorough job cleaning, and noted no problems with gutters or roof. They said they would contact us for next cleaning. We did not hear from Gutter Man for next cleaning, and when we called, they said they would come out the following Minday (late February), but we were out of town and asked to reschedule. When we got back in town, first week of March, we called to reschedule and were told that cleanings had to be done within one year, which expired at the end of February. We were a week too late. We spoke with the sales man who had handled the new gutters and free cleanings. These conversations got progressively worse. They never said they would call. They told us we had to have done by end of February or would not be free. Free cleanings were a courtesy anyway. If we paid some money, they would clean. Etc. I finally asked if it was their intent to renege on the deal, and after some lousy things said by the sales man, he agreed to do the cleaning. The crew came out and did a good cleaning job. They did however point out a bunch of problems with roof vents (that were not even visible from the gutters, so must have been on roof), and offered to replace for about $90 per vent. We declined, and subsequently repaired three ourselves for $24, and 30 minutes (Home Depot, vent covers), versus $270. We suspected the "repairs" we're one last attempt to get money from us. Up until the last installation encounter, we had nothing but positives for the Gutter Man, dealing with the son of the owner. Dealing with the adopted son on the last encounter has left us with a "never again" and we are so sorry to see such a good vendor spiral down in customer service due to one individual.

Went well. The service men updated me on the condition of the gutters, and extra work while they were on site. Did a good job of cleaning them out. However, had to take off my gutter guards, and left them in a pile on the driveway. Also found some loose screws scattered on the patio (almost stepped on one in bare feet.)

Clean out went well. No complaints. Sales visit was timely and convenient. Separate (positive) review on that experience.

It was raining when the crew arrived; however they suited up and immediately went up and got to work. They did a great job. Though their prices are a little high, I appreciate that they were timely, finished the job, and cleaned up after themselves.

The guys did a great job. I bought a coupon off of Angies List for $94 for a gutter cleaning. It saved me some money on just hiring them to come out since they charge based on the linear foot of gutters and DOWNSPOUTS. I wasn't expecting them to count the downspouts too, but the price was still reasonable. Will use them again next time I need the gutters cleaned.
