The Gutter Man

I made an appointment, and took half a day off work. They never told me that I didn't need to be there for the service, nor did they show up for the service. I called them, and they told me they called off the crew due to rain. They were incredibly rude and denied not telling me about not needing me on-site at the time of service, so I no longer wish to do business with them.

I would recommend them. They were fair priced.

The experience was okay, we purchased a Big Deal for 94.00 for gutter cleaning to include removing debris off of the roof. The guys were nice, but a little lazy because the left debris on the roof of our garage in back. I also had to tell him to remove the rest of the debris off the front of the garage roof, which they tried to charge me more money. Would not really recommend.

I had my original gutters cleaned by Nathan and his team. they did a great job. They were on time and cleaned up everything. They also photographed any questionable areas on my roof and were able to do repairs at a very reasonable price. , I also had a gutter installed. There was some confusion on the work (color) and Jeff came to my house. I told him my problems with the gutters and asked for an estimate for all new and larger gutters and down spouts. OBTW, Jeff was willing to correct my problems free of charge. Everyone was very friendly. Since my current gutters were a bit inadequate, I asked Jeff for an estimate to replace them all. Jeff, wrote up an estimate, explained how they install and the quality of their product. I agreed to have them installed and the next day I had Julio and his team out to install gutters. They did an outstanding job. Jeff also stopped by to make sure the installation was going as planned. I have been waiting for a good rain to see how they really worked. Well that day has come and they are outstanding. No drips, no splashing on my front door. No leaks in the corners. A First class job at an excellent price. To make it better, some rough estimates from other competitors were not even close to the deal that I received from The Gutter Man!!! Thanks for the great work. I am betting my neighbors will be calling!!

Excellent. I had also received a bid from Lowe's but it was for 4" gutters, and $200 less. Given the pitch of my roof lines, and the fact a second story downspout drains into a first story gutter directly over the front door, I didn't want to take any chances with smaller gutters and splashing. I also had two of the downspouts turned from the side to the front of the house. The 6" gutters echo a bit more when it rains, but there has been no problem with overflow or oversplash. I'm very pleased they suggested 6" gutters rather than 4". The speed and quality of their work was exemplary.

ok - not great. did some damage to the shingles of my roof. would not re-install gutter covers. recommended all my gutters be replaced because they are 'outdated'. yes, my house is 100 years old...just clean the gutters, please!

They provided a number to contact to schedule appointment. The receptionist was able to find a time that work for the crew and me quickly. The crew called to give me 20min notice and arrived on time. Communicated clearly what was and was not included in the Angie's Deal and what they found as they worked. Fast and efficient workers. The regular cost for this service is too steep for us to sign up for regular yearly service. We will still be hunting for best deals each year to have our gutters cleaned. Aside, if you have an area of your house without gutters, to blow the roof off in that area will be an additional fee; not included in deal. Also if you have vents on your roof that squirrels chewed, to replace or seal cracked vents is extra.

The service was great. We had a couple of scheduling issues. We had made a scheduling appointment and I had to reschedule because I wasn't able to be there. Unfortunately, on the next schedule, I wasn't able to be there again due to work. They were okay with it. They said there were no worries and that they will come out and do everything they can. They said they'll call me before we do any work, estimate and everything. They were really great. They showed up. They did everything they needed to do. They called. Price was really fair for a little bit extra work they needed to do. I was happy. Everything was fixed. I don't have any problem since then. There was an extra of $50. My house was a little bigger than what they had. They called ahead of time and made sure that was all right. I was happy. With how busy they are, they are able to come out in a really good time.

The big deal worked out fine. He fixed something for us as well. He was prompt and they worked quickly with minimal oversight.

Saw a coupon on Angie's for $25 off first service. They called and said I was already in their system. This is odd, because I've NEVER used them before. I've only ever used Bishop Gutters and my yard service guys to clean my gutters. Also, they insisted that I had to purchase a deal on Angie's before they would give me a "free" estimate. They would come out and give a "free estimate" but would not honor a coupon. It sounded kind of shady to me, so I called someone else who was willing to give me an estimate. I have been a member of Angie's List for less than a year and I have never called The Gutter Man before for an estimate. (update 4/2/15)

They went up on the roof and cleaned out the gutters on the second story part of the house, then came down to the lower level and blew out the leaves and used water to clean areas that needed more help. They were fast but through, gave me the cost of the additional gutter above what they contracted for, and I signed a paper that said how much more it would cost. I will use them next year. I recommend them to others.

They were excellent in making reservations, calling ahead, and being on time. They also inspected our roofs and provided excellent advice. I'm fully satisfied with their service.

The repairs were extra and not included in the advertised price. They suggested a maintenance plan, which seemed like a good idea, but I think I'll just clean them more often myself. I was happy with the outcome and did get a warranty on the work.

Our new gutters look beautiful and I'm so thankful to The Gutter Man for tackling this project. We originally considered doing this ourselves, but The Gutter Man gave us a fair price and we decided that was the saner way to go. A sales rep did a thorough walk through to find out what we wanted and understand any issues we wanted addressed (like the lack of a downspout where one was desperately needed). The rep even left a color card so I could match the new trim paint ahead of time. When things didn't go as planned (because our house is clearly on Murphy lane), the crew was accommodating and bumped back our install date just long enough for us to get a repairman out to fix some major wood rot, but not so long as the house became too much of an eyesore for our neighbors. I do wish they had been able to suggest some repairmen to deal with our wood rot (left us scrambling to find someone, and quickly) BUT it worked out in our favor because we discovered our now go-to handyman. Everyone at The Gutter Man has been wonderful to deal with.

We had some difficulties scheduling with them. They only work on weekdays. We had scheduled an appointment for 9:30AM, and at 10:00AM no one had showed up or called. I called them, and they said that they would be there closer to noon, but that was just an estimated time, and they could not confirm. I decided to cancel the appointment and deal I had purchased with them.

Excellent service, Jeff was very professional. He and the crew arrived on time, were safety focused and explained everything in detail. The work was completed timely. The price charged for the work done was very resonable. We will definately use them again.

Fine. No problems at all. We ended up buying some other stuff from them. They said something on the roof was bad. The shoot deposit or something like that.

I purchased a big deal for this service and it was great. I think we had some extra work done. They did a great job. They were very nice people who did a good job. They did what they were asked to do. They cleaned it all up and hauled the debris away; it was fine. I was not home when the service was done.
