The Gutter Man

That was awesome. The guy arrived on time. They did an outstanding job. They cleaned everything. They left. It was as if they have never been there. Everything was cleaned and done properly. It was a fair price. The job was perfectly done. The punctuality was 10. I have nothing but to say that they were outstanding. They were very, very good. I recommended them to a friend of mine.

Installation was seemless, instlallers were quick and professional.

My front downspout was hitting the concrete splash block, so I couldn't attach an extension to it. This situation was causing water to be deposited too close to the house. Called The Gutter Man in June for an appointment (have used them in the past). Because of all the spring rains. the wait was about 5 weeks. Appt. was for July 20th for the repair. Jonathan and another worker came out on time and shortened the downspout so that when the extension was attached, it was at an incline. Would recommend for gutter repairs/installations.

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. We were the last customer that day and all I can say it was not a rushed job. Crew arrived at 4:45p and left after 7:45p. Jeff and his crew Race & Ryan were very professional, explained everything. They are an asset to the company. Clean up was more than expected. We were so impressed that we will have the company clean out gutters twice a year. We definitely are fans.

It went well. They ended up charging us more because I think there were certain measurements that were included in there like a certain number of vents that they could do the cleaning. But, overall, it was okay. It was close to $200. I recall that that was one thing I was not happy with.

They were one of the few companies that could service a 3 story home. There was a $50 surcharge for the height, but I appreciated them being able to perform work on a tall home. The crew got on the roof, and and used a blower to clean any debris or gravel off the roof. Then they cleaned the gutters and tested them. I was surprised at how much asphalt shingle material the gutters were full of. The crew then cleaned up and removed the debris. I appreciate their professionalism.

After booking the deal, the provider was very responsive and noted that there was a 4-week backlog due to recent increased rain delays. This was understandable, but a bit disappointing for a first impression since that wasn't clear on the company's deal. They were able to "schedule" right away.. for an appointment in >1 month from now, but with a promise to try and move me forward if they have a cancellation or opening. I thought for sure, this would mean waiting. To my surprise, within another day I was contacted that an opening had been made and they could be there within a week. Great followup from The Gutter Man to work us in. The person that scheduled me was professional, friendly, and attentive to what I was looking for in the cleaning. She seemed very knowledgeable on the crews work and on their craft and was able to answer several questions. They provided some practical recommendations about cleaning your gutters before other window cleaning, lawn service, and pool service prior in the event there was some debris. On the day of the appointment, the crew showed up on time for the start of the window. After discussing the job with me and what confirming my specific concerns were, they walked through each step they would be doing and asked for me to be available so they could show me how well the gutters would be flowing before and after. They also had a good focus on safety with the hearing protection, ladder safety, and specialized safety roof-shoes for when they had to clean from the roof. I was also very impressed with their cleanup, any of the debris they pushed out of the gutter systems were collected and removed. Even some of the dirt that splashed on the brick they cleaned off with a hose before they left. They also cleared out some debris/leaves that had settled in our landscaping to make sure they left the setup better than when they started. I was very impressed with the pride in their work for the Gutter Man. What would have made them even better: I would have liked to see the employees tied off when working on the roof instead of relying on their roof-shoes for added safety. Yes, they are insured, but I still don't want to risk someone getting hurt. I would definitely recommend them to others - reasonable price, great service, great quality of work.

Initial gutter cleaning , inspection was very thorough. Personnel were very helpful and informative. Identified faulty downspout - ordered replacement. Returned for installation - again, very professional. I will make use of this company for future gutter system cleaning and maintenance.

Called to try to get gutter service scheduled, was told to buy the coupon through Angie's List before they would look at the calendar. The Angie's Listing deceptively says "Get Scheduled in 48 hours" vs. you'll GET scheduled in the next 48 hours. AFTER they had me buy the coupon here, THEN they told me, "Well, it will be mid-August before anyone can come out." Totally unacceptable and deceptive.

The crew arrived at the time they set. The guys were very professional and finished the job in a timely manner.

This is the most unprofessional company I have had the misfortune to deal with from Angies List. I purchased my gutter cleaning deal April 23rd and called immediately to have service performed. They were booked over a month from that time which was inconvenient for me as I had just purchased this home and trees were growing out of the gutters, so I was in desperate need of a cleaning. When my scheduled date arrived, I got a call saying that because of the rain they were backed up and now I had to wait until June 29th to have the service performed. I definitely responded that that was not acceptable as I had already waited a month for the original scheduled cleaning date and I could not understand why my cleaning was not at the top of the schedule to be completed. They made the excuse of the rain making them behind, and I understand that could cause scheduling delays; however to make me wait an additional month is absolutely unacceptable! Having already paid for the deal and desperate for the gutters to be cleaned, I reluctantly agreed to the delay. So, now, they show up at my house today and charge me additional linear footage as well as removal ONLY not replacement of the gutter screens for an additional $80. Again, even though I felt taken advantage of by the additional costs, I felt I had no choice but to agree to the charges (which after making me wait for an unacceptable time and then rescheduling there should have been at least an additional discount). I then revive a phone call from the office requesting PAYMENT prior to the service being completed! I have NEVER PAID FOR A SERVICE PRIOR TO IT BRING COMPLETED...NEVER! I said no way that I would pay the additional charges AFTER the service was performed and she said then "well then we can't do the service, it's company policy." So then she tried to reschedule me again and I said no way!! This company is not in tune with customer service at all, and to expect for a customer to pay for a service PRIOR to it being completed is unheard of!!

Crew was professional, prompt and performed all work well including cleanup. Seemed more intent on selling boots for vents on the house than looking at problems with the gutte

The work was performed as promised but the main issue was that I had to be re-scheduled three times.

The two young men provided an excellent service and were very professional. They called ahead to say they were on their way, and on arrival, explained to me what they would do, including safety precautions. After appraising the job, they told me the likely cost and then went to work. The job took about 1.5 hrs, including bagging up all the debris. Afterwards, they gave me the final price, which was less than expected. They did not find any repairs needed to the roof or guttering so I paid the basic price which was based on an Angie's list deal for first-time customers. I am very pleased and will certainly use The Gutter Man again in the future.

Alex and Aaron were very professional and did an excellent job. They informed me of the cost of everything and explained why it needed to be done. I was surprised that cleaning the gutters was such interesting process. I thought they would just pull out the limbs and that was it. They explained that they would be going on the roof with a hose and clearing the gutters and also making sure the down spout drains were working correctly. They also explained that they would be inspecting the roof to determine if there were any issues that needed fixing. That is when they discovered the cracked vent. It was very nice to know that whatever they found they were able to fix on the spot and I did not have to reschedule for another day. I was very pleased with the process and would definitely call the Gutter Man again when needed. I will also recommended them to others.

Workers arrived on time as promised, did the wok very professionally, explained everything they were going to do or recommended be done, and then again after the work was complete. Cleaned up all around the house exterior to remove roof gutter debris. Very satisfied.

They came out to do gutter cleaning and it went well. The main problem I had was they cancelled twice on the day they were supposed to show up and I didn't get a phone call until the day off. Luckily I was working from home both of those days, because if I had taken off for this I would have been very upset. I don't remember the actual day they came out, but on the third try they showed up. The people doing the actual work were very nice and professional. They explained what they were going to do and what I should expect. At the end they explained a few issues I had on my roof and I had them fix a few things while they were out. It was pricier than I really wanted to pay, but since they were there already I had them go ahead and fix it. Afterwards they showed me what they did and everything looked and seems to work great. Like I said, the only issue I had was with scheduling and trying to get someone to show up to do the work. I would probably use them again if I needed to, though.

I bought the Angie's list coupon for the service. They contacted me immediately to schedule the appointment and everything was perfect. They were here when they said they would be and did the work and also inspected my gutters for any problems that might need to be corrected or might arise in the future. They gave me specifics for a yearly maintenance plan. They did a great job and were very professional.
