Description of Work: I knew when I gotnthis deal that I would probably have additional feet on the estimate for gutters. I also know they would try to sell me more services, which they did. However, they were very nice when I declined and the additional costs were warranted for tree removal and trimming. They were very professional and nice.

Description of Work: They cleaned the gutters. It went well in general. I was charged an additional $36 because my total gutter length exceeded 250 feet. I wasn't pleased with that. The reason I wasn't happy with the extra charge was that I wasn't made aware ahead of time how much the extra work would cost when the total length exceeds 250ft. Aside from that, the work was done thoroughly, timely, and up to par with my expectations.

Description of Work: The gutter cleaning and tuneup was presented as a service at a reasonable price. Problem came when there was actual work to do! That required an additional fee . Gutters sagging again, so soon after work completed. Very disappointing!

Description of Work: Did what they said they would do. Missed some clean up where they blew gutter trash into and behind bushes and onto patio but overall a good job.

Had to wait 2 weeks for free estimate but was told that upfront due to workload. They came for estimate and installation on time - quick, professional and high quality work

Description of Work: I bought the service through Angie's List. Gutter Man answered my email asking that I call their office to make an appointment. The first available appointment wasn't until 2 months later! I accepted the appointment, but I am unhappy it will take so long.

Description of Work: When I first called the Gutter Man, they were quite rude because apparently I called when they were really busy. I then was not able to get an appointment to have my gutters cleaned till three weeks later but that was not a huge problem. The day of my appointment, I was told someone would be at my house between 1 and 5pm so I took a half day off of work to make sure I could meet them. It ended up being quite a busy day for the crew so they did not arrive till 7:15pm. That was frustrating because I took time off work but I understood they had a previous appointment that took much longer than expected. Once the crew did arrive, they were very pleasant and nice but they could not clean my gutters because they did not have a tall enough ladder. It seems I have a three story house and did not know it. Anyway, I asked if they could come back before the end of the week because I had an appointment to have my exterior windows cleaned and I wanted to make sure the gutters were cleaned before that. In order to expedite my request, it was recommended that I pay in advance for the additional fees for some repairs not covered by the coupon I bought so I did. The next day, I left the Gutter Man several messages and they did not respond. Finally, two days after my original appointment, they called me back and told me that they can fit me in the schedule one month later. That was my last straw so I opted to cancel my service and go with someone else. A few days after that, I get a call from one of their supervisors to ask how things went. I was completely honest with the guy and let him know I was very upset. He pretty much insisted though (in a round about way) that everything was my fault as I should have known that I have a three story house even though I only have two floors. When I told him that I had even paid in advance to have expedited service, he told me that is not how they operate and that someone will be fired for telling me that. That's when I told the supervisor he was making me very uncomfortable and hung up on him. I'm still waiting for my refund for the check they cashed despite not doing any work and now I have to also go through Angies List to get a refund on the coupon I bought as well. Everything about this experience has been a total pain. Needless to say, I don't recommend this company.

Description of Work: Cleaned all my gutters with their blower....very efficient, very courteous. Didn't need to use a hose. I had used The Gutterman years ago to install my gutters, and they are holding up great!

Description of Work: I paid for one of the special offers up front on Angie's List. Initially things were set up quickly and all was good. They guys were friendly and nice when they came. My problem however came when we had a storm that blew up while they were here cleaning and we needed to reschedule for them to come back out and finish the job. I called and sent multiple emails to the owner of the company to get it rescheduled and left multiple messages and never got a response. We were out of town (after I told them we would not be able to schedule the work between a certain time period (I left the date information with them). I never got a response back in regards to scheduling the job to be completed. We get back from out of town and there was a note that they came by and finished the job and would be back to pick up an item that was left behind. The fact that I specifically said not to come during a certain time and they did truly bothered me. They were so quick to respond to my calls the first time I am not sure what happened and why there was no response the next time. I do not appreciate someone coming to my home when I am not here unless I have provided specific instructions on doing so. Assuming it is okay to come back and finish up a job without prior discussion is not okay.
