+ -1 moreI am a real estate broker and I referred him to an out of state bank/lender for my clients moving to Houston. Paul Fruge cost my buyers many dollars by delaying the closing by mistakenly leaving out a very important item on his appraisal report causing the bank to delay the closing. Lenders require specific, essential items to be installed before approving the loan on new construction. The ''missing'' item on Paul Fruge's report to the bank had in fact been installed weeks prior and he just didn't catch this obvious item. This delay cost a chain reaction of delays causing extra $$$ for hotels and expired rate locks for the loan.
Description of Work: Appraisal on a new property in the Heights. I referred him to an out of state bank as I had done a few times before.

+ -1 moreMr. Fruge was on time and was very easy to schedule an appointment with. He was very thorough in his work and it showed on his final report submitted to the mortgage company. I was also able to get a copy of my appraisal via email from his office.
Description of Work: Mr. Fruge has appraised my home twice. Once when it was purchased and again when we refinanced. He was very thorough and accurate in his appraisal of my very difficult neighborhood. He worked well with my mortgage company and promptly submitted the required report.
